Ah, so what is TA? TA stands for Total Annihlation, a really old video game that came out during 1995. It is still a lot of time to play and is a classic, so if you see it, pick up a copy and play it. It's worth it.

Now, to business. One of the neat features of this game is that the fans have figured out how to build third party units. These are playable in game. Here are some pictures.

Now, these images aren't mine. They were made by some startling good artists for my units. What do you think?

Those arent artists, those are 3d modelers.
Judging by the sharp angles Id say they're relatively low poly. (Poly = polygons, faces & triangles, which make up the 3d model)

Though I do say I want those textures.

The last one reminds me of the Starcraft Goliath, the Warhammer 40k Sentinel, and the Warmachine 'jacks.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.

Well, what do you expect from a game first made in the mid-nineties?

Someone has to say it: Grif, you're a dork.

I stand corrected.

It is interesting that you mention Warhammer. That particular unit is a modification of another unit. I basically took a pre-existing unit and did all sorts of work to it (including the texturing job). It was originally named "Warhammer" after the Mechwarrior mech, but this particular one is varient, which I dubbed: "Warleader." This is for reasons completely unrelated to the pictures.

Meh, they look sharp anyways. (In more than one ways)

NOOOO!!!
I can't see them! No fair! This is one of my favorite games!
By the way, Supreme Commander May be the reincarnation of TA. The music was composed by the same person. Supreme Commander Two is not nearly so similar to TA as the original. It's a lot of fun, but the mechanics are way different from TA or SC. Great music, though.
