It's been a great year getting to know everyone on YWS. I've enjoyed every moment of it, though after discovering Chat, I've not done a lot of reviewing. Mental note for the coming year XD

Hi guys, I would just like to say that everyone has been amazing on this site. Thanks for all the reviews, chats and wonderful writing that is my pleasure to read. I wouldn't of been able to improve as much as I did without you (I mean it) so never hold back and forever continue writing and I finish my entry in this yearbook thingie with this picture that I think describes us well Helping each other write!!
A hero isn’t defined by winning. Loads of heroes die in the effort. Most of them never get any recognition. No, a hero is just somebody who does the right thing when it would be far, far easier to do nothing.
Shout out to everybody and anybody who didn't get a shout out, whether you're just new to the site, or one of your friends hasn't shouted out to you yet.
This was my first year on YWS, and I'm glad I joined. Thanks everybody for making it such an awesome place! Love you guys.
Ahhhh, 2010. What a year! So many things have gone down this year and one of the best things was coming to YWS. For a very long time I had been searching out a place where I could get to put out writing and not have people critique it based on how they thought of me. On YWS, no one knows me (or at least, most of you don't know me... Sakura and Bacon ) and I can post what I really want to write about. So, here go my shoutouts:
Sakura: You are getting sooooo good with writing! I can hardly believe that what we used to sit around writing turned into full-fledged ideas that have gotten great reviews! I cannot wait for later in life when we are both ah-mazing writers with big fancy-smancy offices and tons of money and we're looking back at now, laughing about what we wrote.
RoseGryffindor: STAND PARTNER BUDDY! I still think its hilarious that I commented on some of your work way back when and didn't know that it was YOU. You are a great writer and I hope that you will continue to put out more stuff for me to read!
Spork: SPORK! You have got to be one of my best reviewers! You give the greatest help with the actual storyline and my horrendous grammar. But what makes you a really great person to go to is you're ALWAYS willing to help out and give advice. You have a great sense of humor and are an excellent writer!
Fictionfanatic: You will be the one who gets the first signed copy of Charlie and Logan (despite the fact it probably will never come out in print)! I know I can always look to you for support and ideas for my story. Don't worry, the next chapter is coming out soon!
Kakagirl: I absolutely love your 'Not After Everything We've Shared' story and I think that you are a great writer! Thank you to you too for your help with my writing.

Although I am young ... I'd say approximately 6 month old, I really enjoyed being part of the YWS. It's so nice to know that there is so many other people out there having a passion for writing. To be honest a few month ago I didn't think I would have spent some of my time writing poems and short stories, or better getting poems published.When I joined this community I not only discovered a new hobby but also an interesting way in liberating feelings and thoughts through the art of writing.
I'd like to thank lil-mizzkitty who was the one who introduced me to it in the first place and everyone who contributed to the YWS in a way or another ... haloa
So. Another year on YWS. That makes three, almost exactly, as I joined in the dying days of 2007.
What saddens me is how little I've been around this year, when I review someone who's a few months old but I don't know. Life just caught up with me, lack of Internet caught up with me, studying and doing all these other things caught up with me, and hit me with such force that I had to make some sacrifices. And YWS was one of them.
The thing is, when I look forward to coming home, it's not just the chance to sleep in my own bed and eat whatever I want and see my parents and go shopping. It's being able to log on here and see all the friends I've made here. And that's something truly special.
And of course, there are special mentions to be made.
*writewatiwant* - for being so lovely and enthusiastic and fun, for coming up with the best stories that I'm always happy (and proud) to read and try and help out with.
Adnamarine – for being Me.
Aquamarine – for general awesomeness, being one of those people on YWS that everybody likes and whom it's difficult to find fault with.
beckiw – for mocking people mercilessly and being so fun and wonderful to chat to. And telling us about all of Tom's antics and how she's met the cast of Supernatural. Repeatedly.
Blink – for not being ashamed of Barbielove.
Bondgirl007 – for growing up from the newbie I remember into someone who's great to have around on YWS and is always a friendly face to see around the place.
Demeter – for all our girly chats. Boys make up dresses in the eerie sea which borders onto the land ruled by the Princess Deanna. I am you, you are me, together we make the perfect StellaandDemeter.
Elinor Brynn – for loving all the good things in life like fairytales and superheroes and Disney. A person so full of great ideas and such vitality is truly a pleasure to have any sort of dealings with.
Evi – for just being Evabelle. So fun and non-judgmental and having very much the same opinions as me when it comes to things like Twilight and Mockingjay and Cassandra Clare. Don't go changing, m'dear.
Forestqueen808 – for being so enthusiastic about historical fiction! It warms my heart, it truly does.
GryphonFledgling – for being so subtly hilarious and entertaining and interesting, someone who, when you see her username, you immediately want to click on whatever she's been posting on.
JabberHut – for being a girl like me! There's no other reason except that, Anneliese, you, my dear, are fantastic. In every way. That is all.
Jagged – for getting so enthusiastic about characters like Sandor and Castiel and all these people and breathing a new life into things and making me see them differently.
Kitty15 – Heather's one of the people I remember being warm and welcoming nearly three years ago when I was a new member. And I'm glad to say that absolutely nothing's changed.
Kyllorac – for getting interested and involved in just about everything around the site, and doing it well.
Lava – for being great! That's really it. I really don't feel like I get to talk to you enough, but whenever I do it brings a smile to my face.
LavenderBlue – for being one of those people who's obsessed with Irish culture and actually knows what she's talking about, so that she's massively fun to talk to instead of irritating. And for just being so lovely around the site.
lilymoore – for talking about fashion and girly things and Corkonians and making me laugh lots.
Master_Yoda – for that ever-living sarcasm.
MeanMrMustard – for being one of the many new additions to the site this year that only makes it feel richer and better.
Meshugenah – Hairtwin! For just being Mesh. For Tolstoy (or lack thereof) and brackets (or parantheses) and endless mocking (directed to whom, however, is unimportant).
peanut19 – for being someone that I really miss talking to and someone I jump at the chance of seeing because I barely seem to see you anymore.
Rosey Unicorn – for being so knowledgeable and full of ideas all the time.
Sachiko – for making us all laugh our heads off and warming us up even in the darkest and coldest days (literal and metaphorical). There's a reason why everyone loves you, Chiko. Just don't ask me what it is, just know I'm included.
Snoink – would the site be the same without Snoink? Somehow I doubt it! For in turns being serious and hilarious and breathing life into us all regularly.
And, of course, to Nate. Not just for being the guy responsible for all of this, but for working tirelessly for us and also being a great person. We really couldn't wish for a better webmaster.
And to everybody else. If you're reading this and think you deserve a mention from me but haven't got one, it's because my memory is awful. But know that I love you and if you think I love you, then I really really love you. Just put it down to my not being able to express it in words.

YWS Yearbook Entry ----------------------- This is my first New Years on YWS, and I have to say - it's been great. xD I've met a lot of new people, and learned that first impressions are false more often than I originally thought. If I don't give you a shoutout, take no offense. There are too many awesome YWSers to name them all. Now I give a "will border on sappy for me" warning. This is true. I'm never sappy, but this borders on it, so...fair warning!

My buddies...on Skype! Emaly: (Puzzle) We have a sort of love/hate friendship. I'll admit, a lot of the "hate" aspect is my fault, but know it's 'cause I love you, you epic Canadian...girl! Seriously, though, you've become one of the main people in my YWS life very quickly. Since I've become active on the site, actually...i.e. soon after joining. Basically what I'm saying is that while I constantly tease you, don't take any of it seriously, as I don't mean it. (Listen to the next part and cherish every word, because it will likely be one of the few times you hear this from me.) I'm sorry for the Riker thing, I'm sorry for the Canadian jokes, and I'm sorry for convincing you to break up with that guy three years older than you whose name eludes me at the present moment. Though I must add the Riker thing and What's-His-Name thing were in your best interest. So. Yeah.
Vern: (LastPaladin) In response to yours - I take pride in being creepy and funny! It's something I'm awesome at without even trying! *not smug at all* Moving on, I actually made false judgements about you at first too. More like...boring, uptight, and irritable. Now after I actually met you, my judgements changed. You're a great friend and someone I look up to. Not to mention my last...what, twenty reviews are thanks to you? That's pretty much all of them? xD By the way...for the past week I've had December is for Cynics stuck in my head. Thanks.
Clark: (Vasticity) You know that shared dream I had with my best friend last week? The first person that came to mind, and the first person I told about this, was you. Your love of movies *cough* Inception *cough* is, to be quite honest, amusing. But it's actually really amazing that you're so passionate about it. I really do hope you reach your goals, Clark. Andy: (Squall) As with Vern, I used to have a "boring, uptight, and irritable" view of you. Also, y'know...the typical way a stereotype mod is seen. I was shocked as hell to hear you speak in Skype. Seriously, to anybody who isn't given a fair warning, it's a little scary. As scary as someone saying words can get. Of course I got used to it after the first, I don't know, day, but still...warn a person! I know as a mod you abide by the rules on YWS, but I didn't expect you to swear so freaking much! Actually scratch scary...more funny than scary. Anyways, I'm ranting. Excessive swearing aside, I find you funny and awesome. I still don't know you as well as Vern and Em, but I do know you a lot better than I did.

Ideasdon't stay in heads very long because they don't likesolitary confinement.
I've been here since what? October? So, not so long, but so far, so good. I've become a bit of a regular on here and although I'm not an avid poster, I've still posted a few bits of poetry as well as stories and have given my fair share of reviews for the time I've been here. The people I'd like to commemorate are vast and great, but I shall pick a few that think made the biggest impression on me:
RazHuni: I gotta admire her effort to get everyone over themselves about the whole "this gender is better than that gender" fiasco. She posted a short little article over transvestites and I nearly fell off my chair with laughter.
delmarria: Right off the bat I could tell that he was a big poetry person. I sometimes would try to compete with him at trying to get the better poetry reviews first. But, alas, I think he succeeds far more than me.
LittlePetRock: I admire her courage and her will. I had recently replied to a post of hers that averaged probably almost a thousand words. She's an awesome person and as far as I'm concerned, we clearly need to hang out more.
Isha: She's almost always in the chat when I enter, and she's always ready to give me a grand ole introduction or a warm hearted welcome. She's on my good list fo' sho'.
LastPaladin: Although I'm not that good of friends with him, I did review a poem of his that I really liked and he did decide to follow me even though I had never reviewed anything of his beforehand. Also, sometimes darker is better.
Anyone I forgot, I'm sorry, but keep in mind I'm a very forgetful hobo! I've been around those nuke rads too much, man.
In the time I've been here, I've started a novel and have gotten into poetry, which before, I had no taste for. Now, I'm reading Dante and Homer and Emily Dickinson and anyone else I can get my hands on. I owe this to everyone here who thought my poetry was good and liked it.'
I appear as just a hobo on the side of the street, a walker on the side of the road, or even a hitch hiker on the side of the highway, always walking, no matter what, when, or where, but one thing I never walk from is good friends. I send my heart out to anyone and everyone who can catch it here and I hope 2011 is as great as 2010!

YEAH! A year book! I joined in September. People made me feel right at home. I had published a HORRIBLE novel and people acutally understood why it was bad. Its been awesome in the months I've been here. And I'm sure it will only get better.
You guys have helped me through a really rough time in my life, and I feel so alive. I know I'm a better writer than I was, and now I feel as though I could write anything.
