new literary magazine seeking young authors!

Hey everyone,

Do you want the chance to be published? Check out It's the New Black! We are a student-produced publication based out of Columbus, Ohio. You can submit any of your works to our blog, at http://itnb.tumblr.com, or email a piece on the topic "green" to submissions.itnb@gmail.com. These pieces can be of any genre, but must be on the topic green. Remember, this includes, but is NOT limited to, environmental issues.

Good luck! Some information that would be good to have is:
1. How is the publication distributed? Online or paper or both? If paper, is it something you buy online or something that's limited to a geographical region?

2. If someone has their piece accepted, is there any consideration? That is, do they receive a free copy or cash?

3. Is this a first-time effort? If it is, then how many people are working on this?

The publication is based out of Columbus, Ohio, so due to our limited funds it will only be distributed locally. It will also be available for viewing online.

The magazine's goal is to get the work of young authors out in the world, and as we are students and don't have much of a budget, we cannot offer compensation at this time. If they are interested in having a hard copy, we can definitely make this happen.

We are a group of six high school students. This is a project for our writing & publishing class, and will be our first edition.

I really like it. I too have my own magazine. It's a hard thing to do but it's all worth it. I've been producing magazines for 5 years now. I am thinking about submitting to your magazine. Oh and I have a tip. No matter what happens do not give up on your dream. At first people will not care for it, but after awhile they'll love it. Want more tips? Message me. Laterz and good luck.
