Hi! So I posted in the "I'm Back" thread, but since I have a new username and it's been 4 years since I last posted using my old username, I thought it would be appropriate to make new friends.

My primary interests are in fantasy, fiction, creative nonfiction, and help-guides. I was way into fantasy in high school, and in college I have taken mostly professional and technical writing classes. I've also done some work for demandstudios.com, which is great experience but when you factor in all the time and stress of dealing with editors you can't really talk to... well, I won't be doing much more of it.

I'm living in the snow in Utah, USA right now. I'm graduating from USU in May in Professional/Technical Writing, and I'm getting married in June. From there we'll either be in Canada or Washington.

Anyone who would like to talk or to have a review of their work, PM me! :D
Bob: hmm, there's a lesson in all this.
Mr. Eglamore: Okay. Let's hear it.
Bob: Never let sixty angry kids use a herd of laser cows to take over your house.

Hey Sand! Welcome back!

I'm sure you would've noticed a lot of change in YWS! We're on a review day here; so feel free to review.

Creative non-fic! I love reading those! I do have trouble writing it, but yeah, I work on it sometimes.

Have fun 'round here.

You rich take care

To Lava- Thanks for the post! Yeah, I've noticed changes and the review day. All in all I really like them. I don't recall a great deal of how it used to be before, but I'm feeling very familiar with the site so that's awesome. I like creative non-fic, but it can be so hard to make real life stories more literary and less like you're bs-ing over coffee.

To Paladin/Fontroy/Siegfriend- I remember you! Mostly as Fontroy, but I do seem to remember you being Paladin, too. I seem to recall we reviewed a lot of the same stuff. Recalling people to look up is hard; I grabbed most folks off my old guestbook. I seem to remember someone with a name like 'Krisy' or something, too. It's great to be back.

I went through a real bad time my last year high school/first year college, but since then things have only been better and better. I got engaged last June, and Mom and I are planning the wedding. I might do some blogging/nonfic about that, just because it's a very unusual time in my life. Writing-wise, this is an exciting time, too, because now I'm looking at actually making a living from writing. Most likely not creative writing, but I hope to wean into that over time. Also starting to do illustrations.

I'm very happy, but a bit stressed. I've got to finish my Writing Portfolio, and a 20 page paper within a couple of weeks. That would n't be bad, but I'm also working two jobs--one as receptionist at Chem/Biochem Dept, one as accountant at Civil/Environmental Engineering.

Ah, that's my life--engineers, rocket science, homework, and bridal planning.
How about yourself?
