Well, I figured since I said I was an artist that i'd post up some stuff. Most of this stuff is a tad old though, since all my newer stuff is still in work. (I pretty much draw everyday, it's a huge force of habit.) I'm a very RANDOM artist. So, don't expect monotony.

Alright. First, here's a picture I did for my parents anniversary this year. Image

I'm not exactly sure what this is. I was just doodling gears and this sorta happened. Image

Scott Pilgrim Image

Pikachu Image

Doodle of Link (modern-ish clothes) Image

Uh. I'm not exactly sure how to put up images. I probably should've asked Pink or someone first. but I'm impatient with responses. If there's anything wrong I can fix this.

Yeah. My Art. AVERT YOUR EYES!

Oh...my...God! These are some of the best sketches I'v ever seen! My favorite would have to be the first one. I love the shading, the colors, and the expression of the characters. I gives me a happy feeling! The same thing goes for the rest of them. You have some REAL talent, keep up the great work. You will go VEEEERY FAR! I can imagine you designing anime for major cartoons and movies haha. Dreamin BIG!

Hey thanks! That really means a lot. My Dad still has the first picture actually. He plans on putting it in a frame. XD Thanks for the compliments!

Girlfriend! You posted something.

Wow, these are great, Liq. :)
I wish I still lived up there so we could hang out more and draw together. XD
My favorite would have to be the first one, GearMan, Pikachu and Link. Super awesome. Although, I do think you should have colored Link. He would've looked better. You should put up some new stuff when you get the chance. ;)

Also, you posted your images just fine. They weren't oversized or anything and they're easy to see. Good job. You're finding your way without me. I feel useless. =(

Anyway, good job!

Dude seriously. If you lived up here it'd be the three of us like every weekend drawing and hanging out. It'd be cool beans.

I can try ot put up more stuff later, I still need to change some file types and shrink them down. And as for posting them, this is how I have to post them on the other forum I'm on, so I just assumed the link with the [IMG] brackets would suffice.

And thanks! But you still trump me at art. XD

I won't lie. I literally *squee*'d when I saw the last pic. xDD Human drawing skillz. I envy. O_O (I can see his forearm bones! :smt003 xD) I love Link's expression, too; it's so very much "I'm bored but going to pretend I'm interested in what they're saying anyway." xD I can totally see that as when he tunes out Navi...?

Soanyway. Piece by piece! xP

1- Too. Adorable! Kind of sad, too, but puts a light-hearted spin on it. :D *hugglehugs* x3

2- I really really love this concept, now that I've gone back and looked at it a second time. I kind of get the impression he's stuck in a box--maybe a robot toy that was once heavily-used but then got beat-up/broken and thrown in a box. It'd make a great contest piece, I think! ^_^ Poor 'bot... *hugs* (Also. The clean lines. *envies* And they're in every piece up here, too! How do you do it? Oo ...Noooot to mention the hand. xD I haaate hands... >>)

3- I have no idea who this kid is, but I get the impression "fighter" (and also Pokemon? But the name doesn't sound familiar, soooo... ^^; xP). I think it's the angry expression. :P (I love that about all these pieces. The emotions are so clear. I tend to have trouble getting that in my subjects, even dragons and horses, and they're my first/oldest subjects. >>)

4- It's Pikachu. C'mon. What's *not* to like about it? xD I get a kind of squirrelly sense from this guy; I think it's the mini-Pikachu thing. He's the size of a Pichu, that I can tell--the big eyes don't help, either. But it's still immensely cute/*squee*-worthy! ^.^ xD

5- Have I said enough about this doodle yet? xD *wants moar!!*

Plz plz plz PLEEEEEEASE keep drawing! These are beautiful! ^.^ *glompouncesqueehuggleasksforlessons* xD

These are awesome. Just saying.

I can't really cartoon to save my life, so I don't think I can really critique this, but just as a total bystander, I think this is really well done.

I like the general professionalism of each of the drawings, and I especially thought the second one was interesting and very creative.

Can't really give tips on how to upload photos, but over all, this looks great. Keep drawing!

Yeah. This was meant specifically for my Dad, I promised him after my mom died that i'd draw him something for their anniversary every year.

Gladius wrote:3- I have no idea who this kid is, but I get the impression "fighter"

This is Scott Pilgrim. From the graphic novels of the same name by ... damn I forgot his name. XD But they're really good books, and Scott is a 23 year old who goes through his life as if it was a video game. It's pretty awesome.

Don't worry. I'll be drawing a LOT more of him. I draw him a lot as is, and I plan on coloring this sketch. XD

and Thank you! @Glimmerglass

Ok, so, here's some more of my stuff.

This is a silly doodle I did of myself.
Image

Here's something I didn't draw, but I'm practicing on my digital coloring. This is taken from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Adult Saga Manga. It's the Deku Tree Sprout. (or as the english manga translation says "the Deku Tree's baby"). Just coloring practice though.
Image

And here's (for the sake of it), two of my characters. Pian (P-ahn) and Kindle (kin-del). Pian's half angel/half devil. and Kindle's scarf is alive. They're best friends.

Image

i work in both digital and traditional media (which I just call digi and tradi). But I do prefer traditional. probably because i've been doing that since I was 12. XD

Okay, so I've been waiting to look at your art, and I have to admit, I'm jealous! You have the fun type of artistic ability!! Me...I can't doodle or draw creatively AT ALL, which was really the deciding factor in my decision not to be an art major. *sigh* I guess now I have to put some of my work up...just be aware, it's boring. I work with charcoal and I only do architecture and portraits.

On a more positve note, I love your work!! :)

Happy Drawing!

Haha, thanks everyone! You're all too kind. Really. I'm not that good of an artist.

I had an off day today, so I tried drawing Link. Here's the result. It's not very good though, lots of things are drawn wrong.
