So here are more of my drawings! They're not really related in any way except that they all have swords. And please excuse the disgracefully drawn horse. I epically suck at drawing animals--and landscapes, and buildings, and vehicles; in fact everything except people and plants.

You must be swift as the coursing river, With all the force of a great typhoon, With all the strength of a raging fire, Mysterious as the dark side of the moon.
Hey there! I don't usually review this type of thing but I'll try my best to give you my impressions of your work.
The first one: I love the hand, it's almost perfect along with the kimono if that's I'm assuming it is. Also I really liked the katana. Nitpick: I thought the feet were a little weirdly shaped but that may just be me.
The second one: I didn't care for this one as much, the horse's face seemed a little stocky and short. The man's chest and abs also seemed to be quite crooked and off kilter as well as his arm. The hand was again one of my favorite things about this, but not as much so as the first one.
The third one: My favorite of the three. Again with the hands! I always struggle with hands and you're making me jealous! The face is done nicely, the angle appears right and the eyes are beautiful.
Nice job overall *daydreamer

Hi there! I'm going to review the second picture. I'll edit the other pictures' reviews into this later, if I have time. Your horse is good, and your anime style has potential. However, the proportions are off, and there are a few things I'd like to correct that are slightly unrealistic.
The torso and the head should NOT be the same size. The head should be smaller. It only seems like the right size because the face is condensed to the bottom half of the head. The face on the bottom half of the head seems to be caused by the fact that the top half is completely convered with hair. Now it's fine if the eyes have hair in them or part of his face is covered by his hair, but hair falling into someone's face is no reason for the entire face to move downwards.
Now for the torso, the shape is slightly off. The area right below the chest should NOT be smaller than the area around the hips, where his belt is. Since he is muscular, that much is clear; you made his muscles quite pronounced, it should actually be the opposite. The area around the hips should be smaller than the area below the chest. Now for the way the torso bends, I'm not sure it's POSSIBLE to bend that way! It doesn't seem like much, but the abdominals seem to fold beneath the chest, and jut out. It would be much more realistic to simply round out the back.
The arms are the easiest to review. You drew the hands too small, and the entire arm should be longer. Held straight, an arm reaches about mid thigh. His reach slightly below his belt. Moving on to the legs, now...they're way too long. A leg and foot should be about as long as a person's torso neck and head put together, but in the picture they're longer, not including the feet.
One more issue I'd like to address is how skintight the clothing is. No clothing should be that tight, especially the belt. It's as though the belt is painted onto the pants. The shirt should not be so tight that every muscle is perfectly visible. He may as well not be wearing a shirt at all.
That's all, I hope I helped! :3 ~Annie
