I have always loved writing. Whether it is stories, music, or even essays (yes I was always the weird kid who smiled while doing a 2 page write up), I always go above and beyond what is asked of me. For example, my grade 8 teacher wanted my class to each write a one page story, and I handed in a twelve page action packed adventure that was "easily ready to become a movie" according to my teacher. I might submit that one soon.
My style of writing is mostly a kind of sci-fi or action genre, usually with events that would probably never happen in real life. For example, the twelve page story I handed in to my teacher was about a small town in the United States that had an evil creature, known as The Darkness, living in the basement of a tennis school. I mean, come on! I'll explain how wrong this is. 1) Evil creatures are unheard of and so far proven non-existant on our planet. 2) Who would be stupid enough to stick around and name it? 3) Why live in a tennis school? And 4) Are there even tennis schools in small farming towns?
So yeah, it was weird. But even more, it fed on the souls of people it possesed and controlled to make it bigger and stronger!
Straying away from that before i get TOO carried away... I am actually writing a book right now called Create and Destroy (temporary name, ready for change) and I don't want to get into too much detail, but it's about a 14 year old boy named Max Fisher who develops these sweet powers and is lunged into a war that only 14 year old kids can have an affect on, because for some reason, the adults can't kill the bad guys if they tried their hardest. Again, what was I thinking? But I ran with it. You can check out my website if you want, rtokarz.webs.com and theres a more detailed description there. If you do, sign the guest book and let me know you are from here, I'd appreciate it. I know it's just a webs.com site, but I didn't want to spend time and money writing code for my own site in case I didn't end up going anywhere with this, but if I get enough reckognition, I'll make it mine.
So yeah, this is me, and I thank you for reading this if you even got this far. Honestly, I thank you for opening my post, and I am sorry for the length, but I LOVE to write and I tend to get carried away.
Peace,
Ryan
