She has a Acoustic, and Electric Guitar named Phoenix and Onyx. A Turquise blue Ipod and a voice to blow anyone away, and with her poetry skills she writes her own songs. She gets defensive around people she love (E.g, Alex and Nick if your Alex's friend you need to be Nicks friend :p) Ans scared of the dark and claustrophobic.

Name: Lila David

Age: 13

Parents: Zeus and Jem David

Appearance: Jaggedly cut, inky black hair that jets out in spikes, almost boy short. Lithe and rather feline, with pale, striking blue eyes. She wears a lot of graphic tees and ripped jeans, and she always, always wears her beat up and dirty, doodled on and marked up black low top Converse.

Spoiler
Image

Personalities: She's a spitfire, and extremely independent. She almost never accepts help, and is incredibly headstrong. Even so, she won't go looking for a fight, and tries to stay away from them. She's gotten into too much trouble for that before. She's got a strong respect for her mom, and for music of any type. She's a tough girl, and can handle pain well. If you can get on her good side, she's a strong ally and loyal, and knows how to fight.

Other Personalities: Likes rock music, her mother, graffiti art, and the city. Also, fast food and soda, ripped jeans, hoodies, and graphic tees. Thunder, cold weather, rain and wind are all most loved by her, and she loves standing on the roofs of skyscrapers. She's a great bassist and drummer, and is basically a human chew toy- she can survive almost everything. (She's swallowed half a bottle of window cleaner, burped, and lived to tell the tale.) She can work with what she has, and is very resourceful, as well as tough, strong, and a fast runner. She can handle pain well.

On the minus side- she hates people always thinking she plays electric guitar (bass, people, BASS), and having to fancy up. She doesn't deal well with authority and has a knack for breaking rules. She doesn't like heat, sunburns easily, and is stubborn as a mule. She doesn't like orange flavoring, or even actual oranges, and is a bit quick tempered. Because of her hardy body, she's kind of foolhardy, and will throw herself in the face of death without a second thought. She's a bit of a showoff, and is a total perfectionist. She pushes herself to the extreme, and rarely accepts help and or defeat.

Brief history: Her mom's the frontwoman of a popular rock band, the Everlasting. She's sort of grown up in the spotlight as the only child of the rockstar, and has lived most of her life on a tour bus. She's very close to the band -that's why she loves music so much- and respects and loves her mom fullheartedly. She's been at the camp for almost a year, and made few friends. She hasn't gone on any quests, and doesn't exactly want to. She doesn't like to think that she's Zeus's daughter- to her, saying her mom is Jem David is twice as good.

Up for love: .... Not really, no. Just wants to get some actual friends her age.

Other: Has a habit of drumming with her silverware, pencil, hands, whatever she can hold if she's bored.

Brief History: Lexie's been at camp for five years. She lives there all year round because her mother lives in Montana. A lot of monsters like to hang out in the woods there, so Lexie's life was never peacful there. She had a younger brother named Brian, but he died on a quest about three years ago. He was two years younger than Lexie. She has yet to get a quest, but she desperatly wants to get one. Especially if it's to face the idiot monster who killed her little brother.

Up for love: Hey, if a cute guy comes along, sure. But if there's some wierd creepy guy smiling at her every five seconds, he better watch his back.

Other: Is obsessed with World War II, she just finds it very fascinating. (Gotta love kids of Ares)

Really sorry, rebelin, but me and Forsakin already have plans for Nick. But if you want, she can still have a crush on him. It'll add some good ol' drama to the story.

Name: Ophelia Rain

Age: 14

Parents: Hades and Rebecca Rain(Veterinarian who works in the Colorado Veterinary teaching hospital)

Appearance: She is tallish, lanky, and dark skinned with black hair(a few inches below her shoulder) that is curly. Picture to come!
Personalities: She is strong willed, free spirited, and introverted. She is somewhat of a loner, she doesn't reject the company of others, its absence doesn't bother her. She can also be al little bit judgmental at times, owing to the way she was treated after her sister's death.

Other personalities: She is good at horseback/pegasus riding, and sword play. She dislikes: math, make-up, and optimistic people, is not good at traditional/field sports, and has poor people skills.

Brief history: Hates her father for allowing her full mortal sister to die in a car crash, and therefore refuses to utilize any of her inherited abilities. She loves her mother and stepfather with complete sincerity, even if she would never say as much. As far as camp goes, she is deeply torn between her love for the camp and all of its inhabitants, and her deep-seeded hate for her father(she has no quarrel with any other olympian though).

Up for love: maybe

Other: She has a Congo African Grey named Eilonwe who she considers to be her best friend.

It's so darn hard to choose where to be. I'll create one character for the time being, maybe another later on.

Name:
Trent Aether
Age:
Turning 15 in November
Parents:
Zeus, Lord of the Sky!
Appearance:
Blond with blueish eyes. Scientist's look on his face (You know the frown to one side, squint into the sun, standing alone?) Average height. Mellow smile when he does.

Personality:
Trent is a creative student interested in literature. Contrary to most children of Zeus, he's shy and not assertive. His biggest problem is actually his conflicting nature. His hesitance to assert his position in a group creates a gap and leads to him having a sense of inferiority. This is possibly the biggest thing to be developed about him. His positive quality is his humour. However his humour is childish, unlike those of the Hermes kids, and more such to escape any responsibility thrust upon him by being Zeus' son. His favourite cabins are Hermes and Hephaestus.

Likes - Writing, Aeronautical Engineering
Brief history:
Trent created a flying device and accidentally wandered over the borders of Camp Half-Blood. After getting shot down he joined the camp. He has only a step father. He never knew his mother.
Up for love:
Not.
Weapons, Powers and Items:
Sword (A Gladius, to be specific.) This channels his power into wind gusts and lightning blasts.
Inherent Flight

Starting!

>Friday<
~Alex~

I stepped out of my cabin and smiled at the rising sun. Apollo kids always woke with the sun, no matter what; so we were always up before everyone else. Lazy bums.

Normally, we would head over to the basketball hoops or the volleyball court, but today we were on cleaning duty. We were sentenced to the toilets. "di immortals," one of my siblings mumbled. I couldn't agree more.

As we headed toward the old Johns, I caught sight of my cuisine, Nick. He was probably just getting back from looting one of the nearby convenience store. I stopped and called his name. Looking up, he smiled and jogged over. "What's up, cuz?" He was wearing a his usual ripped-up-jeans and a camp half-blood T-shirt that had the sleeves ripped off of it. Beside me, my best friend, Fawn, desperately straighten her shirt and tuck her hair behind her ear. I knew she had a secret crush on Nick.

I ignored his fake I-wasn't-out-stealing-anything look, and propped my elbow on top of a nearby statue column. "Arm wrestle. Loser scrubs the toilets." Before he could think about how uneven the bet was, I quickly added, "Hurry! They're waiting for me." I was indicating my cabin mates that were glaring at me for trying to get out of the cleaning.

"Deal." He placed his elbow next to mine and we clasped hands.

Just then his face grew grim and his gaze settled on something behind me, "What the-?" I glanced over my shoulder to see what was wrong, and before I could react, he had my arm pinned to the table. "Looks like I win again," he smirked.

"Two out of three," I said desperately. He nodded and we set up our stance again. This time I was ready. We struggled for awhile, but finally I called all of my will-power and managed to get his arm down. "Yes!" I punched the air in triumph. But Nick didn't look at all concerned. He simply raised his arm for another battle. This time, I had him half way down when his hand suddenly shot back up and over, pushing my arm along with it.

He smiled. "I win," he said before briskly walking away. I frowned as I wondered why. That is, until I found that my golden drachma wasn't on the table, where I had left it. Quickly looking up, I saw just the last of Nick as he turned the corner behind the camp store.

"Nicholas Andrew!"

~Nick~

I flipped the coin and caught it in my hand, smiling to myself. I had purposely let Alex win. That way she would be distracted enough for me to get the coin.

"Nicholas Andrew!" I winced as Alex hollered my full first name and my middle name. Ouch. Throwing a glance over my shoulder, I saw that she was coming after me and was already hot on my heals. I laughed when I saw her face. It was angry, but more like a sister's-angry-at-her-older-brother-for-being-in-her-room kind of angry. Like a teasing, playful angry. A kind of fight that we got into too often. And I loved it.

I spun on my heel and started running, laughing teasingly . I zig-zagged through picnic tables at the dinning pavilion, and ducked under the volleyball net as I kicked up sand behind me in the court.

When the big house appeared straight ahead of me, I sped up to a sprint towards it. Jogging up the old steps, I started to--

Suddenly, the door swung open and I found myself nose-to-nose with the Oracle. 32 year old, Miss Rachel stood with her coffee mug in hand, and her curly red hair in a loose ponytail. She sighed when she saw me. "Nick, give back the girl... well whatever you took from her."

I was about to give her the innocent "who, me?" look, when I was suddenly plowed over from behind by Alex. Normally, I would have felt awkward wrestling with a girl, but Alex was like a little sister to me. She grabbed a handful of my hair and said, "give it to me!" I smiled sheepishly and held out the coin. Snatching it from my hand, she gave me the evil glare. Even with her braided pig-tails and giant, sunflower head band, she looked pretty ferocious.

"Jerk," she mumbled as she picked herself off the ground and pushed my head. Again, there was no real feelings behind the insult.

Poseidon had decided not to draw attention to himself after Percy Jackson. Or so I had heard. I was his only mistake. I rolled over. The rest of the cabin was empty. I didn't even have a cat. I am surprised Poseidon even claimed me. He could have just completely ignored me, but he didn't. I still find it hard to be thankful though. Note sarcasm. I sat up and looked at the seclude. In a half an hour would be breakfast. I looked around the room. It was pretty spotless except for some doesn't in the corners. Who cares? I slipped into my clothes. One good thing about not sharing no worries about changing in front of people.

I jumped up. I was always ready and awake for the day. I was about to jogg down to the volley court when I realized Apollo's cabin had cleaning duty. I wrinkled my nose in disgust. But I started to walk towards the bathrooms anyway. I hated being the tag along, but I had no one else to hang out with so I just went everywhere and anywhere. O.K., so not everyone enjoyed when I popped in, though they knew it wasn't really my fault. I wondered absentmindedly what it was like to be in a cabin with a bunch of different people. When I got there Alex Freemon was yelling "Nicholas Andrew!!!" "Oooooh someones gonna get it" I said, but she was already gone. The rest of the Apollo cabin stood there buckets in hand glaring at me like it was my fault they had to scrub toilets. I don't think they realized that when I got cleaning duty it was me and only me doing all the work.

I gave them a smile then turned to follow Alex. By the time I caught up I was panting and Alex had already snatched the coin back. "Jerk," she said getting up from the ground wet from the dew on the grass. I had to stifle a laugh. She looked just like a big sister yelling at her brother for being in her room. Not that I should know what that was really like. I walked up. "Hey guys, is it kay if I hang out with you."
"Sure" Alex gave a genuine smile. You never can tell with her though. I hated thinking that she actually didn't like me, but there was no way of asking her. If I did she would deny she ever once in her life gave a fake smile then get all ... grumpy.

"You know what Nick? Your stupid." It was my usual greeting. He was just an older brother to me and he always took my fake insults with a cheery face.

"Right back at ya." I hit his head. He cringed "ouch!" I ignored him.

"So, getting out of cleaning duty?"

"Nope, Nicholas here decided he would be nice and do it for me. Isn't he nice?" I laughed. Your cabin looked pretty annoyed at you. I thought something like this would be the case.

"Want to arm wrestle?"

"Nah, you look way to hopeful. Must have something up your sleeve." Finally he rolled over and jumped up of the ground. "If you want something from me you are going to have to beg." I have to give it to him. He did his best. He made his green eyes go really wide and his lips turn to a pout.

"Pweety pease?"

"mmmmm, no. But, I suppose we should head back. It is going to be breakfast soon." We started to walk back.

"So who is going to be your partner in the chariot races?" Alex asked. Just ignore this part if you have to have a partner from your cabin.

"I really don't know. I guess I have to figure that out huh."

"Most people are already done." Nick added. "But, I still don't know who mine is going to be either." We fell silent as we walked to the Bathrooms.

*Spirit Jones*~Friday~

Tucking a stray piece of hair behind my ear ,I grin. Ah ,camp. I had been waiting for this all year. Kids ran all around me. I knew I was late and most kids had been here for a bit but hey- I loved my mortal family and wasn't TO eager to leave them too fast. Quickining my pace, I burst into the Hermes cabin. Desert stared at me, shaking his head. I grinned at him and he sighed.
" I wondered when you'd be getting here Spirit."

" Got a little hung up," I said still grinning.

" You never could resist a good New York hot dog," he teased.
I gave him a gentle shove and he gave me a shove back. He looked at me, pausing.
" You know the chariot races?," he asked.
" You want me to be your partner?"
" Somebody has a great deal of her own importance," he glanced at me, " but yeah, that'd be nice."
I laugh. " I'll see what I can do."
" That's a yes, then?"
" You betcha!"
We both laugh. I cut off thinking how wrong it was to laugh. Desert looks at me, smile fading from his eyes.
" Are you ok?," he asked getting serious.
Crap. Desert always was to good at reading my feelings.
"I'm fine," I said but my voice sounded shaky to even me.
He shook his head, sighing.
" I've got to go," he said quietly.
He walked out. I flopped on my bed, laboring my breathes. Usually I felt bad for Desert. Now I only felt bad for me.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.
