Okay, apparently I'm supposed to introduce myself on this "welcome mat", so here I am saying a warm hello I'm fourteen, and enjoy anything that has to do with the wonderous creation the English language! I especially love to write poems, but don't mind the occasional story. Loving this site so far, but any help or writing tips are greatly appreciated ! cheers rainbowbubble
Hi bubbles, can I call you bubbles that is the first thing I thought when I saw your name so... We seem to have a lot in common. I love to write poetry too, but I will write the occasional short story and sometimes I will work on a long lasting novel.
All the forums under the writers comer (Community) are great for writing tips. The only one I can give you is just keep writing! I see you already have a few reviews so I am sure you are getting around the site fine. It really just takes time to explore. But, great places to get to know fellow YWSers are the chat room, blogs (those are great to start discussions if used right) Clubs, storybook RPGs, and Time Wasters & Games.
You have told us a bit about you, but not a lot. Where do you put up residence? Do you live in the country or city. Do you prefer: ham or bacon? Scrambled or fried eggs? Running or swimming? Dogs or cats? Wolves or dogs? What is your favorite color? mine is blue or green or yeah I like all of them. What is your favorite number? Mine is 6.
Well, I hope to see you around the site. If you have any questions or are just asking for a review P.M. me
Heya! My name is TheNewHero and indeed, I am a superhero. I love the name because I love rainbowbubbles. So what kind of poetry do you write mostly. Luuuurve Poems or Epic, Sad, Dramatic poems? Do you like superheroes.
Nice to meet you guys! Okay so maybe I was a "bit" brief when I was indroducing myself I live in a country town in Victoria, Australia. Call me Rainbubbles, or bubbles (glad you like the name thenewhero), I am interested in a array of poetry styles, mostly one's revovling emotions, e.g sadness, love.
And now to answer Calligraphy's questions; I dislike both ham and bacon, my favourite colours consist of blue, green and yellow, scrmbled eggs are the way to go, and swimming is a lot better than running! I am quite the dog person, and my lucky number is 9, becuase it just came to be And yes I love superheros! who doesn't? -rainbowbubbles
Hey! Isha here...and you said that your favourite colours were blue, green and yellow. Mine too! 8D Well, add lavender to that list, but other than that...xD
Anyways, welcome to YWS! I'm glad you like the site so far, it's a fun place! (Not to mention the members here are the best things...erm...people...ever!) If you ever need anything, or just want to chat, shoot me a PM and I'd be thrilled to get it and reply! I'll answer any questions as best as I can, and I love the whole "Oh look...a random PM!" thing.
I have a random question for you here. Random and very, very important. (Okay, not really, but I ask everybody this question at one point or another. xD) Pirate or Ninja? Ninja or Pirate?
hey isha! Great to meet you. Cool as! Lavender is awesome as well :3 I'll be sure to give you a random pm oneday, as the people on here are accroding to you, are the best ever! And to answer your question, *drum roll* NINJA just because they're so awesome, and mysterious.
Pfft! We all know that pirate ninjas are the best.
Anyway, welcome to YWS! Your username is possibly the best ever because it reminds me of thin film on a bubble... and NO I haven't taken too many engineering classes! In any case, I'm glad you're liking the site.
My main writing tip is write what you love writing, or else writing will be an awful experience indeed! And don't get discouraged. Some of the critiques you'll get here can be... well... very thorough, lol, and sometimes it can be a bit discouraging, but just keep your chin up! Soon, with a bit of practice, you'll become a really strong writer.
And as far as the site goes, if you see anything that needs help, feel free to contact the people with green names. We'll do our best to help you.
