In my opinion I love the Beatles. All of their songs are AWESOME, Revolver is the best album ever made if you ask me. They're my favorite band in the whole entire world.

I do admit, the Hot Rocks from the stones are completely amazing! I love "She's a Rainbow" as well.

They're both similar and amazing bands. They went from sweatly little clubs to huge stadiums. However they were so different as well you really can't compare them that much. The Stones caused violent riots where as the Beatles just made girls chase them instead of throwing things at them on stage.

Dude, The Beatles are incomparable.

Beatles. Hands down.

I don't think it's a case of versusing each other. Though they come under the same genre of music, I think the Beatles were the top of the class in terms of Pop Rock, hanging out with the likes of The Beach Boys and Frankie Valli. Of course where the BBs and Frankie Valli were all keen to keep their good kid images, The Beatles fell in with the wrong crowd - that crowd that you'd associate The Rolling Stones with, who hung out with The Clash and The Kinks and the other rockers of their time.

Both bands are equally as great as each other, so I can't choose a favourite. I've never found a person yet who hasn't joined in in a chorus of 'We all live in a yellow submarine' or 'she was a day tripper, one way ticket yeah'. But then you get the Stones who were just so classic Rock with (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction (who doesn't sing a long to that??) and Paint It Black, and then you have their albums like Let It Bleed which are amazin'.

So no choosing. Switzerland!

The Rolling Stones. I used to like The Beatles when I was about seven, but I dont' get much out of their lyrics these days and that's pretty important to me. I mean, there are some bands who I like without loving their lyrics, but since I'm not crazy about The Beatle's actual music, they don't really do anything for me. I quite like the Rolling Stones. But really, give me The Who over either of them, any day.

Depends on my mood.

The Beatles are better. At the height of the British Invasion, there was Beatlemania; the Rolling Stones, while good, weren't able to achieve that level of worldwide hysteria, and few bands (if any) have been able to do that since.

Popularity doesn't mean something is better. Plus, pop music is always more popular.

I think the Beatles have some great albums, but there's a lot of their stuff which is actually pretty crap which nobody ever seems to accept. They're not incomporable, but I can't deny their impact on the world of music as a whole.

Still, music wise, the Rolling Stones give me something more that I like. Exile on Main Street is a simply terrific tour-de-force. I prefer their bluesy, rocky numbers to the candy pop of the Beatles. But then the Beatles do have some sweet experimental stuff.

Also, Gimme Shelter is pretty much the best song ever.

I love them both a lot. I guess I like them for different reasons. I've never been obssessed with any Beatles' songs but as for the Rolling Stones there's been: Gimme Shelter, Paint it Black, Shine a light and more. But the Beatles started it all, without out them a a lot of great bands would never be. With lyrics I'd say that the beatles had more fun songs (oh bla di oh bla da), but some really meaningful ones. You know what, I actually can't decide!
