Plot: A couple werewolves have attacked a human, but only because the human was hunting them. These wolves are rogues, and ever since the rogues killed the hunter, there has been a large influx of werewolf hunters. They consist of Mages, Humans, Necromancers and Demons. Some need werewolves for spellcraft or magecraft, others wish to raise a dead werewolf to do their bidding, others are just hunting them for sport and the Demons have a bounty out for the Pack leaders of the Law Keepers’ alliance. It seems Memnon, a Demon lord and leader of the Black Cross, dislikes the peace the Law Keepers have created.
The rogues have unknowingly started a war, Werewolves versus the Necromancer’s Guild, the Mage’s Silver Circle, the human’s Hunter’s Academy and the Demon’s Black Cross. The rogues are wild, unknowing of their actions, and do not know who or where they are. One of these rogues is confused, and the other injured.
You are either a werewolf from one of the eight packs or a member of the enemy fractions. Your aim is to find the rogues before the others do. Are you friend or foe? Who will find the rogue first?
The Fractions:
Spoiler
Necromancers: Humans, witches or mages that practice the dark art of bringing people back from the dead. They are undoubtedly evil and also thrive on death and destruction. They live for their own gain and love to kill, even when it’s unnecessary. Necromancy a form of magic in which the practitioner seeks to summon the spirit of a deceased person, either as an apparition or ghost, or to raise them bodily, for the purpose of divination, revenge and other such dark objectives.
Werewolves: Humans who are born with the ability to change into a wolf at the full moon. They might also change when angry and/or if they lose control, such as when there’s blood and gore around. They are violent and most are good. Although as with humans, you get the good and bad ones. Werewolves are stronger and faster than humans and also heal faster. Those who are bitten cannot always fully change, but are just as strong as those born to it, if a little ugly.
Mages: Humans born with the gift of magic. They, unlike the Necromancers, are mainly good and thrive of preserving live. They live to help others, though some are now living for their own gain, and dislike killing anything that is not evil. They practice spellwork but have a general rule to never use it for dark or personal means. Manipulation of the elements, telekinesis and the power to heal and possibly give life (if some of their own life energy is given in return) is common among mages. They can us a darker side of their natures but then they become something dark, or they become a necromancer.
Humans: Humans are human. Some may know of the “underworld” in which werewolves and other such creatures live and thrive. Humans can be good or bad, and they could be working for any fraction. It’s best to watch your back while around them. They may also have their own cult-like fractions that hunt Werewolves, Demons, Mages and Necromancers for sport.
Demons: Creatures from the underworld (hell) that appear as shadows or black smoke. They must possess a human and only if said human invites them in. Mages and Necromancers often summon them for help and end up paying for their mistakes for the rest of their short lives. Demons are cruel, nasty and evil little things. They thrive on death and destruction and are hard, if impossible, to kill. Host cannot be saved and must be killed, as exorcisms do not work. Demons may use telekinesis, PK or the like and can play with the minds of their victims, even while possessing a human.
