*wanders around the room putting up blue and purple streamers and blowing up balloons to hang on the walls*

*looks up at the cieling, realizes that it needs a little some as well, ties several dozen balloons together in some artistic manner and hangs them from from the middle of the cieling*

*calls in a caterer for all sorts of yummy foods like ice cream, chocolates, chips, veggie platters (for any people that want to pretend that they're gonna eat healthily for about five seconds) and lots and lots of cookies*

*brings in a DJ and instructs him to play Switchfoot, Sanctus Real, Superchic[k], and other such magnificent bands*

*goes up to her room and changes into a beautiful black, oriental style dress with sliver flowers embroideredall over it, just because she doesn't get a chance to dress up very often*

*comes back down to the room she has just decorated and such, pulls out a podium and microphone and stands behind it while instructing some random dude standing around to let all the guests into the room*

*Bends microphone to the proper level as everyone comes in, filling the large room* Ahem... I have an announcement to make...

I FINISHED MY STORY (THE BEARER that is)!!! ALL EIGHTY-FOUR THOUSAND WORDS OF IT!!!

And since I have been commanded to party (Thanks, Mesh), I am inviting all of y'all to party with me!

SO LET THE PARTY BEGIN! *nods to the DJ who cranks up the music*

of course! didn't you read the fine print? all writers who finish their novels must give a speech at their party! erm.. right.

*clinks glass*

who else calls for a speech? *grins wickedly (yes, that book/musical is amazing)*

ah, Dusky, we only do it 'cause we love ya, right guys? eh.. guys? ah, I still think a speech is in order  after all, you finished! and eighty-four thousand words strong, too!

Yes I do think a speech is in order. just kidding; do as you wish and enjoy the sweet feeling of triumph!
Question though: are we going to see this novel online or are we going to have to wait till it gets published?
