So, who here plays Zelda, and what's your fave of all time? Personally, Ocarina of Time was my first and thus fave Zelda game--the story, characters, side quests, the intricacy of everything was just unparallel to anything I've ever played--and to any other Zelda game made thus far. But I'm finally getting to play WindWaker for the first time, and what a game full of personality and rich characters and a rich world! It's quickly tying for second. A lot of people complain about Majora's Mask, but despite some of its crummy temples, I love the story and sidequests. No one shoot me, but I found Twilight Princess to be a real let-down. An expansive world with nothing to explore. It held a good main story, but after that...bleh...

So, what do you think? What's your fave? And which games aren't so hot in your opinion?
Bloodmaiden; Golden Healer, Dark Enchantress; Elantra: Song of Tears, Lady of the Dawn.

My favorite by far is Ocarina of Time. I also really like Zelda II, though most people call it the worst Zelda game. But, I never knew that as a kid.

The only Zelda game that was a bit of a letdown for me is Phantom Hourglass, and only because the fairy and the boat captain are so annoying (especially the fairy). It also seemed like half the gameplay was just dialogue.

I'm with Majora's Mask the entire way on this. The stories, the darkness, every bit of the story has so much to it, you have the option of so many lives to save throughout the time. Not to mention the mechanics and masked-gameplay all worked great and uniqueley. The temples and land of Termina is a glorious atmosphere, and it makes for the adventure being my personal favorite.

Oh, but I will give props to Oracle of Seasons for creating one of my favorite items in video games; the Rod of Seasons. The power it has, the changes it makes, I'd be more than happy with that than many of my precious masks.

My favorite has to be Zelda Ocarina of Time. I've been playing it since I was a wee lass. The Spirit Temple has to be my favorite temple because you have to transcend through time to beat it. Majora's Mask has to be my second. It has a very ominous atmosphere which is pretty exhilarating and scary.

Oracle of Ages/Seasons! By far they are my favourite. I know that they're two games, but it's easier to think of them as being one, seeing as the story crosses both. Although admittedly I prefer Seasons out of the two, I think that's down to the subrosians, haha, I've never played any of the console games though, only the handheld.

I haven't been to keen on any of the latest DS incarnations though, although I could at least finish the Phantom Hourglass--I haven't cared enough about Spirit Tracks to get that one done. What happened to the good old 8 items/dungeons? It served us so well, and I think The Minish Cap faltered by breaking from that. That game was so easy compared to the previous GBA/GBC games :/ I think the difficulty has been going down since the GBA version of A Link to the Past.
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask probably tie for my favorites. Probably because they were the first I really played.

I loved Twilight Princess, it's probably second. Wind Waker was alright, but got to be a tad annoying at times. I just don't like Tingle at all, he's more annoying than Navi in my opinion.
