Oh. Because I had forgotten about forsakin having Ellie tell Kaylee about her vision...and it was a way to get us more into the whole rescue mission. That okay with everyone?
Again guys, please keep comments in the DT. And if you guys don't mind, I'm going to get this thing moving.
Kaylee:
When they all got home we all just dropped in the living room either on the couches, chairs, or the floor. After a little but everyone was asleep. I decided this was my chance and I got up silently. Stepping over and around people I finally made it to the front door.
The door creaked a little bit when I opened it so I looked back to make sure no one woke. They all appeared to be sleeping. "See you in the morning. Love you." I whispered to them all.
Closing the door behind me I ran across the lawn and out into the street. I ran until I got to a familiar shop. I remember my mom taking my sister and I here when we were little. Shutting my eyes I took a deep breath so I could remember how we would get back.
My eyes snapped open and I began running, my bare feet pounding against the ground soothed me. Somehow I ended up infront of my old house. I krept up the lawn and peered into a window. I saw a little girl asleep on the chair. Is this the right house? But as soon as I thought that I saw a woman with red hair walk in and a man with blue-green eyes walk in behind her. "Mom and dad." I whispered to myself.
They said something to each other and the man scooped up the unfamiliar girl and carried her up the stairs. The woman wandered over to the fireplace. She stroked a pictured in a silver frame. I couldn't see the picture but I bet I know who's in the picture. I began crying. I just couldn't go in and talk to them. I just can't. Not alone, and no one knows about my life but me.
With a sigh I wiped my tears and began running back to Cassie's house. I got lost for a while but I eventually found my way back. By the time I got back the sun was up, and so was my family. When I entered the livingroom they all looked at me a little worried.
"Guys," I said in a hushed tone "I think it's about time I tell you about my past."
I sat in the cream colored arm chair and took a deep breath before starting "It was about a year before I came to the island. I had my wings for a while, my mother had been hiding me. My sister Lila got her wings a few weeks after I did. Yes, I had a sister." When I said that I wondered if anyone noticed that I used past tense.
I continued "It was when the house caught fire that we were forced to go outside. There was a big commotion going on, but about my sister and I rather than the fire. After the fire was extinguished my mother told us to run. But before we could get anywhere people grabbed us."
I took a deep breath and said "They put us back into the house and the scientists were informed about us. Lila and I locked all of the windows and doors so no one could get in. But when the scientists got there they threatened to burn the house down with us in it if we didn't open the door."
Fidgeting with my fingers I cleared my throat "I had a friend who turned into a Winged One. The scientists hurt him so badly he died. And I didn't want that to happen to me and my sister. They began slamming something against the door to break it open. Lila and I ran upstairs into our room and we held each other tightly."
Tears burned my eyes and quickly began rolling down my cheeks. Unable to look anyone in the eye I stared at my hands "I thought that if the scientists got their hands on us they would win. So-" I took in a shakey breath and resumed "So I strangled her."
I closed my eyes to avoid seeing anyone's faces "I was looking for a way to kill myself when they broke through the bedroom door. They grabbed me and I fought them, which only led to them throwing me down the stairs."
I shook my head and said "When I got to the island I was beating myself up for what I did. It haunted me everyday, and it still does. I've just learned to push it away."
I gave a sigh and said "I'm telling you this because the scientists took my sister for only a little bit when she was dead, due the fact that a dead body wasn't much use to them. When they gave her back to my parents they then buried her. And so my theory is that they know something."
My eyes still closed tightly I said "I was at my old house. That's where I disappeared to. I went to talk to my parents but I coldn't face them. Not alone."
When images of my sister's face as a choked her popped into my head I snapped my eyes open, only to have more tears stream down my face. "And now you all know about my dark history." When I said those words I broke down in sobs. I had kept it hidden so long, kept it pushed away, that saying it outloud and having my family, the people that trust me to lead them, know what I did made me feel even more awful. My sister trusted me too. So what will everyone think of me now?
My head spun and my stomach churned as I made my way to the front door. I'd pay for this in the morning, but, at the moment, I was happy I was drunk. I had no clue why, I just had this giggly feeling, and I laughed uncontrollably as Christian grabbed my waist. He was the rich guy this week. I'd met him in the bar I'd gone to with my friends, and when his clothes. watch, and the empty finger on his hand, spoke for themselves.
He laughed with me as I pushed the door open, falling in and landing on the floor. The kids were in the living room, and they looked at me as I came into view, straitening up and doing my best to look sober.
"Hello," Christian said quietly, looking at me. I motioned to him.
"Kids, Christian, Christian, kids," I said, voice slurred a bit and giggling. He nodded, looking at me with eyes that said "You didn't mention kids." He arched his eyebrows, pulling his jacket off and I took it, slipping his wallet out of his pocket and into my own.
Taking his hand, I led him up to my room, before everything went black. Maybe I was asleep, as I hoped.
Ashton
While the Ellie was trying to keep Kaylee from crying, I was waiting in the kitchen staring into the darkness of the night.
I had noticed Ellie, and some of the others, were acting strange, and I thought I knew why. They had all seemed so much happier when they were running from something, they were happier when they had to save each other. Ellie was a little depressed, and so did the others.
It wasn't long before that Christian dude came through the kitchen, shirtless, and going strait for the fridge. He didn't seem to see me, and I wasn't going to say anything to make him look at me. He sniffed the milk that was in there, before taking a gulp from the carton.
"Do you mind?" I asked, looking at him as he jumped, dropping the milk. It spilled all over the floor under his feet and he stepped to the side. Ellie came in the kitchen, yawning before freezing when she noticed the guy.
~Ellie May~
"Ashton, can I talk to you?" I asked, thinking of my vision from earlier.
"Yea, sure," he answered, nodding. I glanced at the guy then down at the milk.
"Clean that up, or get out of our kitchen." My voice was cold, harsh. I realised I still had my island clothes on, and I smiled, not wanting to take them off. We went into the bedroom we shared, and sat down on the bed while I explained everything I saw at the dance.
Hakuna Matata <3 RIP to all my friends who didn’t make it.
I was just walking out of the bathroom after a nice shower, when I noticed Ellie and Ashton talking in serious, hushed voices. I crept up to their room and listened to see if it was anything important. Thankfully their door wasn't closed all of the way and I could hear them without trouble. "I had another vision." Ellie whispered. I concentrate more closely, I wanted to hear this. Ellie continued. She said that there were more winged ones, that they were trapped in a science lab, and that... Bianca was some how part of it? The Bianca? The one that I went to school with? Couldn't be, I'll have to ask her about it.
When Ellie had finished, I sneaked away without any one seeing me. Taking a towel to my still damp hair, I knocked quietly on Ester's door, she didn't answer. I pushed to door open a crack and peeked inside, "Ester?" Her bed was empty and her window was open. I smiled, knowing where she had gone. With a bound I jumped on the window seal, and then spread my wings and flew onto the roof.
As I expected, Ester was sitting on the roof, hugging her knees to her chest and gazing at the stars. When I landed she looked up. "Hey," she greeted. "Hi," I smiled. I sat down and snuggled up to her side, enjoying the warmth of her body.
For a long while we both sat there in silence, looking at the stars. My hand ran through her snow white wings, my finger tips delicately brushing her feathers. Suddenly she spoke, in a soft tone, "I don't belong her, Corbin."
I rested my chin on her head, "What do you mean?"
"I don't belong here, in the city, in high school. With all the lights, noise, and people." she sighed and dropped her head, "I want to go home."
"I think everyone feels the same way. I could tell by the looks on their faces tonight when we got dressed up in our old clothes."
"What are we supposed to do?" she looked at me like I had the answer. But I didn't.
"I don't know," I whispered in defeat. We fell silent again and looked at the night sky.
I woke up the next morning with Ester sleeping on my chest, we had fallen asleep on the roof. Ester stirred, woke up, and looked around. "We stayed up here all night?" She look around in concern, then she caught my eye and we burst into laughter.
We had a rough time getting down, since our wings were gone, but we finally managed.
The school bell rang and the class room exploded as everyone headed for launch. I saw Bianca step into the hallway and I jogged to catch up. "Hey Bianca, wait up!" I grabbed her wrist and she spun around. "Want to sit with me at launch?" I had to find out if Ellie's vision was true. She smiled at me and answered with almost over exaggeration.
I got my launch and steered Bianca to a table where I knew she would feel comfortable talking, somewhere where she would know that no one would over hear our conversation. "So Bianca," I started, "What does your dad do for a job?"
I'm a JESUS FREAK!!!
Do you have any idea why a raven is like a writing desk?

When your life is based around the face of Sawyer from Lost you know you're officially obsessed. -- Join Isha's SB, the Shadows! And mine, Lament of Innocence! And LDR's, Dark Fey! And- ok, I'm going to shut up now.
Well what's happened is that we now go to school, we just had a Halloween party last night, Ellie had a vision about other Winged Ones and Bianca being involved in it, Kaylee told everyone about her past, Cassie has a new boyfriend, now we're back at school. That's the shortened version. PM me if you want/need more info.
Kaylee:
Everything was so normal. It's like what I didn't even phase anyone. I was glad about that. I grabbed my lunch and went to the table we always sit at. I smoothed my dress, feeling my clothes underneath. I didn't want to take them off so I put on a plain pink dress that goes down to my knees, brown cowboy boots, and a brown leather jacket to hide them.
I dropped my tray on the tablle, letting it clatter. "I hate it here." I said to the people at the table. My family of course knew what I meant, the other people that some of us made friends with of course thought I was talking about school. I sat down next to Blaise and rested my head on his shoulder. He grabbed my hand and whispered "Smile Kaylee." With his free hand he quickly tickled my stomach, causing me to explode in laughter and pull away.
Blaise gave me a crooked smile. Putting my hands on both sides of his face I teased "You sir, are a truely evil man." With that I gave him a quick kiss.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while and that this is so short. Micheal Webb
I wrapped my arm around Blake. We were cuddling on the huge lazy boy in my room. It was nice. I was mulling over our conversation about school. I was really the only one that enjoyed it. Blake completely despised it and all the rest were somewhere in-between. We weren't used to a normal teenager life. Even I missed not the island exactly, but the way things used to be. Us all working together to survive. Now instead of hunting for our food we grabbed it out of the fridge and popped it in the microwave. I let out a long sigh.
"I have a feeling that something big is going to happen." Blake interrupted my thoughts. "I wouldn't worry about being in school for too long. Something is bound to happen. Look at our lives, anything can happen." I didn't answer her. Insted I just scooted farther into the chair an closed my eyes.
