Here, I know it doesn't help much, but I'm trying.

~Cassie~

So, the kids were at school, I was alone, just sitting here. My life was so fun. In many ways I was like them, a child suck in an adults body. Ashton always said that I was the weirdest parent he'd ever seen. Maybe because I didn't bother to keep tabs on him, I always knew he'd come back. He'd ran away before, and, from what he had told me, trashed a lab then found Winged Ones. I liked having them around. I wondered if Annie had realized I was lying the night before. I did like fictional things, make believe, things that scientist have "proven to be mythical". What they didn't know was that my other son, Ashton's brother, had been taken from me, because he was a Winged One.

I felt a few tears roll down my cheek at the memory, and I wiped them away, standing. My heels made the loud clacking noise I was used to as I walked into the kitchen. Looking in the fridge, I realized we had no food. Having a huge group of teens in the house and only enough food to feed two--or maybe one and a half, because I was only here half the time and didn't look in the fridge most of the time--was bound to leave us with no food sooner or later.

I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen off the counter, quickly scribbling a note for them:

Hey children,

I'm going out tonight, and I might not be back until morning, or maybe midnight. Ashton knows where the money is if any of you need anything. I'm going shopping because all of you have cleaned out the fridge. Hope your first day was good.

Love,
♥Cassie♥

I put that on the fridge, a single magnet on the top to hold it there, and headed for the door, grabbing my parka and keys and heading out.

I say no one knows that Bianca is a scientist's daughter till later on. So, in my opinion, no; you don't touch the letter. :D

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've either had immense writer's block or haven't had a chance to write. Or both. But I'm here now with absolutely no idea what to do and with only half an idea of what's going on. This should be good.

Blake

"What?!" I cried in disbelief.

"I said," said Ester. "that Bianca screamed that Michel was hurting her, and now Michel is under questioning by the principal about possible attempt at rape. But I think that Bianca was lying for who knows whatever reason."

Oh man, oh crap, oh... man. When Michel didn't show up for Algebra I was nervous, but this isn't good. This is worse than isn't good, this is bad. I was so sick of high school. It wasn't even the schoolwork--though I was fairly certain that I was going to flunk out by the end of the week--but the drama, I hadn't had so much since I landed on the island, and that's saying something.

"Come on, let's find Kaylee. She'll know what to do," I said.

>sorry it's short, but I can't think of what to do. I think we should skip the party and get into action, because that's a kind of story that I know what Blake'll do. Right now, she's kind of lost touch with herself<
"Blah blah blah. You feel trapped in your life. Here is what I am hearing: happiness isn't worth any inconvenience."

I'm just going to wing it (no pun intended) and hope this works out.

Kaylee:

My head kept pounding and a headache kept growing more and more, though the pain I've heard people complain about didn't even affect me. I mean, I've been a wolf's chew toy. As I walked through the halls with Caroline at my side, our hands still clutching each others, I looked into every single room.

That's when I remembered Anika. Slapping my hand to my forehead I let out a frustrated sigh "Oh! I forgot about Anika! I was supposed to pick her up from daycare."

Great just great! I thought as I paced in front of the principle's office. Michael is toast! He already got sent to the office today and now this! Of course I know he didn't do it but they don't know that.

Bianca rolled her eyes and flipped her hair. "Corbin, would you relax. We have to get to class." Our next class was together and I guess she decided to make her job to walk with me, but I wasn't walking to class. "Why do you care so much about this creep anyway?"

I stopped and looked at her, "Because he's my brother." She looked at me like that totally changed the situation.

>Ok so my plan was that Bianca wanted to do something for Corbin to get him to like her. So she went to the principle's office and cleared everything up for Michael. That way we got that problem solved, and now Corbin owes Bianca. But of course it's up to Apple.<

Ester:

Pressing my ears to the door, I tried to listen into what the principal was saying but all I got was a whole herd of roaring (mostly from Michael). Corbin paced around the room, his eyes pressed on his shoes. I wanted to go over to comfort him but Bianca was doing a pretty good job!

The principal's door swung open and Michael slammed it shut.

"Let's get out of here, I'm sick of school!"

>So I decided to move this along. I want out of that darn school already, as Fic mentioned; school SB's die and I think it'll happen with this one. Lets get to the fighting and at leat try and stear clear from the school factor till we're on track. I said yes to the plan in the DT but I'll say it on here to (Drago's idea). I don't mind.<

I shaking with anger trying not to scream and swear at everyone around me. I was pretty much a wreak. I had thought this would work out even through my nervousness, but it wasn't and I was sick and tired of trying to make it be something different. I stomped onto the bus and everyone knew to stay out of my way. I finally sat down at the very end. A bunch of bigger kids were around me and girls that laughed to loud. I realized I had invaded their space but I didn't care. I slipped my headphones on.

One of the girls squished herself against me and I sighed turning my ipod off. "Hey she said." "Hey back." That's how we spent the rest of the bus ride. Her flirting and me laughing at her stupid jokes, but not offering any information. It wasn't nice or awful she was there so I just kept her talking. Well and I practiced mimicking voices for her. I didn't always get it right, but most of the time, and she didn't seem to notice.

Finally when the bus stopped (we were one of the last off and first on) I remembered that I had been angry enough to punch Kaylee. Everyone would be asking so I rushed into the living room. throwing my backpack down and fiddling with the switch blade I had retrieved from the purse. Everyone came into the room in one clump. They all seemed in an agreement not to say anything to me. Because they just sat in a circle. Blake would have gone to the other side of the room, but I grabbed her waist pulling her to sit on my lap. "So," Kaylee began "I think we should all tell each other how our fist day went."

I wasn't in the mood to tell how terrible my day had been. I walked out of the living room, and into the kitchen, piking up a piece of paper with Cassie's handwriting scribbled on the front saying she'd be out shopping or something. While reading the note, I walked back into the living room, looking up once I had finished reading.

"Obviously Cassie decided to go out tonight," I said, voice low. I didn't feel to good, but it was passing. I handed the letter to Kaylee and she read over it quickly. Ashton pulled me into his lap, and I laid my head back on his chest. Ihadn't been able to do this all day, and I'd been avoiding him, but I could do it now.

I felt tired, and my lids were starting to close. But I was home now, so I let them close, and I fell asleep listening to the others plan something, Ashton's arms around me tightly.

"Run! Run, you stupid filthy mongrel, run!"

My feet pounded quickly upon the treadmill, taking another step before the first one's even finished. My heart thudded loudly in my ears, loudly and skittishly, unevenly and inconsistently. There was a line of pain from my midsection to my back, around my body. It was where they had chained my wings to myself, making it impossible for me to fly away to any sort of freedom.

Sweat streamed down my body as I ran, faster and faster yet never fast enough for the red-faced man who constantly spat insults and threats, maniacally forcing me onward in my never ending run. The armless treadmill I was on had nothing for me to grab, or to steady myself, and even a single misstep could bring me down. Of course, that was only more motivation for me to keep going, but it was very hard.

I wasn't sure of the speed, but I knew it must have been ten miles, or maybe twelve. No normal human could go at this speed for this long; I had been on it for an hour at least.

Heat had flooded my face long before, and subconsciously I knew I was in survival mode. I could barely hear the angry man as he yelled and screamed at a deafening level. My muscles worked without being told. They just ran and ran and ran and never stopped.

My mouth begged for drink; water, milk, juice, rain, snow, ice, lake water, ocean water, pond water, river water, anything! The only thing liquid it had was blood, which it gained when I stumbled slightly and bit my tongue.

Suddenly the treadmill jerked off, and, unable to stop my "flee" instinct, I lunged forward and fell off the end of the treadmill. Feet still frantically, desperately moving, trying to find solid ground to push off from, I stayed upright, to a point. My torso was bent over, and my arms flailed and I tried to gain my balance. Instead I crashed into the wall, and slumped over. My nose hurt like heck, and when I put my fingers to it and then down again, scarlet liquid covered them, just like it covered my mouth.

The screaming man walked over to me and glared down.

"Have enough hell, deary?"
"Blah blah blah. You feel trapped in your life. Here is what I am hearing: happiness isn't worth any inconvenience."
