Hi, Mizz! Okay I love the picture. I'm not sure if you edited it to be like that or if it was the way you shot it but I like the colors. They seem darker. My only problem with it is the letters are a little hard to read. I had to squint and try to make out that it said still, I couldn't see the "s". Maybe make those a little bit bigger. Hey, Lily is here by will of her psychic powers. I think you have a lovely image idea but it feels like you really added a lot of contrast and brightness to the picture. That’s not a bad thing. I do that to a lot of my pictures, but sometimes it draws out the life of a picture. If this is what you did, the only issue with that is that the reflection of light on the water is very bright which makes certain letters a little harder to read like the 'b' in 'but’ and the 'd’ in ‘tried’ so be careful when you edit pictures.
I just noticed, too, that the blue of the flowers is very pretty. But I didn't really notice it until about the forth glance at the picture and I think that’s because they’re directly in the middle of image. Nudging it over even a smidge would make this beautiful blue color really stand out Still a very pretty image and wallpaper!

About the contrast & brightness; I actually didn't edit this picture too much, lol, and it actually is very easy to read if it's in the wallpaper size, trust me! Oh, and about the centering, I agree. I couldn't really move side to side though because it was a koi pond and fish were right on the edge of the frame for this picture. I actually had to crop them out, lol. But I see what you mean; it would have looked nicer that way. Thanks a lot!

I love this picture! The lighting and clarity you have going on is great, as is the contrast. The reflections in the water are nice, and I like how it's slightly blurry further back, as it really helps to draw the focus to the lilies. The photo itself looks professionally done. It's simply wonderful. Great job! ^^
My only complaints about the whole piece itself is the text. For one, like peanut said, the quote is rather hard to read because it's so small. I realize that you probably downsized so that it fit nicely in the forum, but I think it could be made a little bit larger, even on the full-size picture. Also, you have three different fonts, which is a little bit distracting. And they don't really seem like they fit together very well, in relation to the picture. The first font you have in the top left corner fits the best. The quote reminds me of a ransom note, and I don't think that's the effect you're looking for here. The bottom font is too bland. I'd suggest making all the text one font, or at least the quote and the source the same. The (c)2010 irishflames can stand alone as a separate font because it's not actually a part of the picture itself, you know? But I definitely think that you should change the font of the other two to the same thing, and it will help to pull the piece together.
