The name is Milen. Would you pronounce it as (myl-en) or (mil-en) or neither? I am curious because this is the name of the main character of the novel I am working on and I need to make sure readers get the right idea. Otherwise, I may have to change the way I spell it. Thank you all for your help. :)

Mill-en, but I suck at pronunciations. XD

By the way! This is moved to writing tips. :)

Er, writing pronunciations in English characters is so confusing. xD

Mill - uhn. Like Million. Except without the "yu" sound from the li.

It actually depends... is it a guy or a girl?

If it's a guy, I seem to think My-len

If it's a girl, I seem to think Mi-leen
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

I read it as "Mil-len" but if I were asked to pronounce it it would come out as "muh-len".
All I can hear; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". Even those tears; "I me mine, I me mine, I me mine". No one's frightened of playing it. Everyone's saying it. Flowing more freely than wine. All through your life; "I me mine".

I didn't know beards could do that ;)
