Personality: Adaer used to be a jovial, vain and frequently hot-headed young man, to the point where many wondered why he chose a storm dragon over a fire dragon. However, since returning from a long disappearance, his personality has become one of utter extremes, and often lends itself to darker turns.
History: Adaer’s father was a dragon rider before him, and he was always proud of that fact. He put a great deal of effort into his training, wanting to make his parents proud of him, and to become a great hero in the eyes of all of Sharlohw. During the recent conflicts with the Shadow riders, Adaer vanished for an extended period of time. He has not spoken much about what happened during that time, but it appears to have a significant effect on his emotional stability.
Dragon Type: Storm, he can create a small, but extremely powerful, electrical field around his hands.
Connection with Dragon: He has an excellent connection with Lupria, as both of them love to fly (and show off) more than anything else. They can constantly sense each other’s location, but their ability to communicate telepathically is limited, and so they usually employ a complex series of high-pitched whistles.
Likes/Dislikes: He likes any action-packed activities, especially flying and now, fighting. He also likes archery, storms and competing with other people. He dislikes being kept on the ground for whatever reason, and being made to look stupid.
Flaws/Good Points: He can be highly temperamental, and has a tendency to act spitefully – even to his own detriment – if he dislikes the way he is being treated. He is an excellent acrobat and athlete, and is incredibly skilled with the bow.
Habits: None worth mentioning.

Name: Lupria
Age: Young
Gender: Female
Element: Storm

Personality: Lupria was always an energetic dragon, but like Adaer, she changed during their absence, and is now outright reckless. Her love of flying and aerial acrobatics is now linked to unnecessary risk taking.

This is my old character with some changes since time has passed. She's evil.

Name:Alice Violet

Age:(14-18): 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: Her hair is so dark black it has a glint of purple. She has now cut the long locks into a short bob. Her eyes are stormy grey with think black lashes surrounding them. Her skin is pale, but her cheeks are pink. Her lips are a natural blood red color. She has gained a few inches but not many. She also has a scar on her stomach from when she got stabbed in battle, and she has a faint scar on her cheek from a peasant she fought.

Personality: Alice has bloodlust sometimes. She can't be around blood. She has become sweeter in the past time but only to her own kind.

History: Alice has a sister on the good side. She has no idea whether or not she's alive though.

Dragon Type: (Please list Dragon's element, and your power because of it (No making up your own, just restate what the power is from what I wrote. Just to be fair)): Shadow. Alice has the ability to manipulate shadows.

Connection with Dragon: (good, bad, unbearable, amazing, ect. describe it!): amazing

Likes: Being with her friends, her scars because they make her look like a fighter, her dragon, and fighting/practicing fighting, her sister

Dislikes: Disappointing people, failing to achieve goals/missions, her sister.

Flaws: Alice has a weakness to some people on the good side due to her sister who is on the good side (I'm not making a character for her). She also tends to get carried away. And she gets blood lust.

Habits: Doing things herself, whether or not it needs to be that way.

Name:Ash

Age: (Young, Middle, or Old.): Middle.

Gender:Female

Element:Shadow

Appearance: Ash is pitch black and has eyes just like Alice's.

Personality: Follows orders from the royalties and Alice. Ash is much like her master, which is why they get along so well.

Other: Er, I guess if dragons can be up for love she is.

**I put his personality and history together because, like with Bree, his personality is made from his history. Hope he is satisfactory. I had to think about his character for a while and I'm kind of happy with him. He'll be more of a minor character compared to Bree though.**

Name: Malachi (Mal-ah-ki) Rolan

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Appearance: He's got ink black curly hair that hangs in his eyes. He has very fair, snow and cold looking pale skin. His eyes are by far his most interesting and attractive feature. They are an interesting shade of grey. A very light grey color that has a hint of violet if you look close enough. People don't tend to do that though. There is a rumor about his eyes - people say they can turn others to stone. Which is not true, but just looking to close into his eyes scares others.

He has sharp, carved features and is thought of to be quite handsome when he isn't glaring or grinning in a very creepy and frightening way. When you can see his soft side, which is very rare mind you, he looks like a confused, very lost dark angel. Some say.

Personality/History: He is very determined. That's one thing about him that no one can deny. If he wants something he'll stop at nothing to get it. His history is filled with great horrors (some that still haunt him though he'll never admit it) that proves this. The biggest thing he ever done that's shaped him to the man he is today is the one that made him truly evil.

Malachi used to be a good rider. In fact, he was considered a prodigy. The Elders told him that one day he would become the greatest Earth dragon rider ever. His dragon, Elena, was almost worshipped. But Malachi wanted more. He was still treated as a child and he hated that. The Elders refused to put him in a position of power at such a young age. After all, he was only 16.

So when Malachi was 18, he left. He had decided to join the others, the evil dragon riders. But Elena, who was much older than her young, ambitious rider, didn't want to. They had a phenomenal connection. Stronger than most. They both wanted to be powerful, but Elena wanted to wait. While she felt the need to be strong and powerful, she wasn't ready to risk everything.

Malachi wasn't planning on bringing his dragon though. He took his sword and plunged it through her soft belly and into her heart. It was a rare thing, but Malachi lost all his powers that being a good rider gave him. He had just killed an innocent dragon. And in doing that, Malachi changed himself forever. He had killed part of himself because he and Elena were so close. He still feels the bite of his sword in his own heart. He misses Elena but doesn't regret his decision. He is determined to be powerful.

So Malachi found a youngish shadow dragon because when he killed his dragon, he lost all his powers over Earth. But the magic in him had not died. When he found his shadow dragon and it chose him, the power in him shifted and he was a shadow dragon rider. As he knew would happen all along.

Malachi feels a deep grief that no one can understand, but as I said before, he doesn't regret it. He loves power more than he loved his dragon, Elena. His new dragon Bato respects him and cares for him very much. But Malachi only pretends to care for his dragon. No one can fill Elena's place. And Bato has grown on him, whether Malachi admits it or not, but their connection is very shaky. Because he refuses to let any dragon get to him as Elena did.

Dragon type: Shadow

Connection with Dragon: Fairly good in times of need, but if you'll read the history you'll know that it won't ever be more than decent. Malachi refuses to get to close to his dragon and, in doing that, won't be able to feel his mind. Bato, his dragon, can speak to Malachi on rare occasions, not be able to read his thoughts, just send messages, but Malachi won't open his own mind to his dragon. It's not a terrible connection, but it's decent.

Malachi sees a connection that is too strong (like with what he had with Elena) as a weakness. He doesn't like any weaknesses.

Likes:

-Hard work (he doesn't like to be alone with his own thought...just read his history (;)
-Earth (Although the magic is gone, he still feels a connection to the Earth)

-Being alone, although he normally is

-Those who judge without good reason (Believe it or not, he is actually a fair person)

Flaws: He's too consumed with getting power. When he fought against the good riders, he cared only for destroying the Elders (the ones who refused to give him more power to begin with -read history) and gaining the power than the actual fight. Although, he was glad when the Shadows and Ghost riders won. He knows that means he'll have that much more control.

Other: Love would only be a joke with him. He's open for relationships though.

-DRAGON-

Name: Bato

Age: Around Malachi's age in human years. He's very young for a dragon in the mind, although his body grew fast and looks like that of an adult.

Appearance: Generic appearance. He's got a long, thick, muscular body. Dark grey, the color of ash all around. His eyes are coal black.

Personality: He's got a young dragon's spirit. He is the opposite of Malachi (although just as evil as him) and is very optimistic and hyper. He's rarely sad and his buoyant attitude amuses Malachi and makes him grow fond of the dragon.

Other: Up for love. Oh! And he loves Malachi. He wants his approval so much. The dragon admires his riders strength but is wary. He knows about how Malachi killed his old dragon. He's got a sort of blackened aura about him that all dragons can read. However, that makes Bato admire him all the more. He craves Malachi's approval and love and plans to work hard and for the rest of Malachi's life for it.

Name: Nova Kachina

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Appearance: Nova is awfully short, standing at only 5'2. She has platinum blonde hair, with brunette undertones which reaches her mid-back. Many people are fooled by her baby-ish and girly look, and usually underestimate her strength, which is almost always those same people's downfall.

Personality/History: From the time Nova was born, until she was ten, she was a happy go-lucky girl. Her brother's dragon, who is now her dragon, saw her strength as she grew. Nova began training at age six with Ryu, who was her very first dragon. Ryu and Nova never really connected. They were constantly arguing, and at each others neck, saying the other one was doing it wrong. When Nova was eleven, she decided that Ryu wasn't strong enough for her, and ceased all training with the dragon, despite her father's wishes. She honestly didn't care. She wanted, no, she needed power. A power that Ryu simply couldn't give her. Her brother's dragon, Kapp, was right there with her, craving a power that Nova's brother couldn't provide.

When Nova was twelve, she was sparring with her uncle, when Kapp and her brother flew overhead, Kapp twisting violently in mid-air. Nova's brother was screaming in terror, everything happening in a flash. The black dragon threw his wings out, like a drag, and Nova's brother was slung from the dragon's back, crashing to the ground with a dead thud

The day of the funeral, Nova didn't even bother to go. Sure, he had been her brother, but she felt no remorse for him. He obviously had to have been doing something wrong to make Kapp throw him off, or so Nova thought. Instead of going to the funeral, Nova took a stroll through the woods, where she met with Kapp. That was the day they became rider and dragon. The day after they committed themselves to each other Kapp killed Ryu, after the dragon had seen the two sneaking away from their home.

For the passed five years, Nova and Kapp have been together, their bond extremely strong, They've, of course, been running from Nova's family, however they're both still power-hungry. Nova can sometimes be very sadistic. She loves pain and suffering, but even more than that, she loves being the cause of it.

Flaws/Good Points: She's a strong fighter, and a great rider. She can be sly and silent, making her great at silent assassinations. After a fight with Ryu, many years ago, she injured her eye in a freak accident, blinding her on the right side permanantly.

Habits: When she's nervous or scared she has tendency to bite her lip or tongue so hard, they bleed. And then she's upset, she'll often punch something so hard she'll injure her hand.

Age: Middle (older than Nova)
