DOMINIQUE

I ran back to the cabin to get help, we couldn't carry her alone. I loved the sound of my feet pounding against the ground. I looked up as i got closer to camp, tarrion was still talking to the others. I called out.
"Annie can't get up!" I waved my arms in the air. The guys all stood, but only matt and logan went to go get her. I nearly jumped into tarrion's arms.
"I missed you." I giggled into his chest.
"I was only gone for a few minutes." I looked up at him, he was smiling, god he had a great smile.
"It feels like forever." i smiled up at him. I looked over to fire, she knew what was coming and looked away. I got on my tip toes and pecked his lips. Hugging him tightly.
"Even in the end --even in death-- I can't hate you." - Neri Hereford's last words.

I wasn't really paying attention to who was carrying me. I just remember opening my eyes, and seeing the inside of the tent again. I hated being confined. I just wanted to go lay back down on the ground outside, hope it rained, and be perfectly fine. Which reminded me. I wondered where my snake was. I hadn't seen him sense...I found my new family being attached by the beast. Such a long time ago, it seemed.

TARRION

I heard somebody calling my name. Was that Domi? Now? "Crap," I muttered, jogging to the front of the cabin. "What? What's wrong?"

"It's Annie! We need somebody to come help us!"

I frowned and grabbed her hand, stumbling to where we left her. She was on the ground, begging the others to kill her. I kneeled down beside her and picked her up carefully. "Annie, shhh. You'll be okay." This was my sister who was hurting. I swallowed and looked to Wren and Gemma for help.

"We have to get her back," Wren murmered.

I nodded. Of course we had to get her back! Saph, Matt and Logan came up behind us, panting.

I tried not to focus on the pain too much, but it hurt too much to ignore it. Just a few hours without it was all I was asking for, though, of course, I didn't get it. Tar was worried, no doubt, but I was going to be fine...right? It wasn't that bad, because all the bleeding was over. I was going to get better, and I was going to live.

Or at least that's what they kept telling me, but as the day wound down, I got worse. I couldn't move at all, and I wanted to o to the party they were having. Of course I had heard some of the talk the Matt and Logan were having while they sat in the tent with me. It was a very good idea if you asked me, and I wanted to see it. I was going to see it. They weren't going to stop me.

But the pain sure was. I couldn't move a muscle without it bringing tears to my eyes. The wound was purple and red, and they said it looked like I was bleeding internally. That didn't sound good to me. Apparently, it wasn't.

Saphire
I grabbed a shirt and ripped it to pieces. "Ok um let me think." I said throwing strips to everyone who reached out their hands. I started to pace then grinned and snapped my fingers. "Someone get water and heat it someone else please try and find some witch hazel." I said quickly and calmly. I quickly drew a picture of witch hazel. "That is what it looks like. Mix the water and witch hazel into some kind of paste and then if this works as it is supposed to put it on the strips and wrap them tightly around her sides." I Said calm. "I've seen this some where." Gemma said smiling slightly. "Ok Gemma show um Domi and Wren where it is." I said coolly. "But..." Tarrion started but I interrupted him. "We need you here to monitor Annie's condition and keep her comfortable." I said firmly.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

Comfortable. I was so comfortable while I was bleeding on the inside and she was calm about it! Tarrion didn't argue the way he did with me. Though Saphire wasn't the one with the stitches in her side. Why had it been so long before I actually noticed the pain? Or paid attention to it. That was what I'd been neglecting to do, and see where it got me? Out of a party, that's for sure.

Saphire continued to yell out orders like a drill Sargent. They all tried to help me in some way for some reason. I hadn't saved any of their lives sense the beast, and telling Tar to jump out of a helicopter or I'd push him didn't count. The only way they could have paid me back was by letting me onto the family, which I was reluctant to join. But now that I was in here, it wasn't that bad. The caring thing was way over the top, but not that bad. I liked having a family.

Did Saphire even know what had happened to me, or had she been gone to hear the dreadful story. I tried not to think about it much, because it only made the pain that much worse. Thinking about the face of the lady and the way she smiled when she stabbed me. That was the only thought that crossed my mind at that painful moment.

I nodded. I was glad to have Saph back and on our side. I sat down beside Annie and brushed some hair out of her eyes. Her forehead was slick with sweat, but the fact hardly bothered me. I remembered my sister back home, how I had teased her relentlessly and made her cry countless times. Not this sister. No, I had learned that sisters are precious despite what others may think.

"You okay?" I whispered.

She blinked at me. "I want to go to the party."

I smiled weakly. "Tell you what, you can come, but I don't want you to dance. If you cooperate you can come have a good time. Deal?"

She stared at me for a moment, weighing her options. The options she didn't really have.

I sighed and looked up at the sky. The day was slipping quickly, it was already late afternoon and I wanted meat for this party. That one might have to slip though, I'd settle for any of the girls' concoctions at this point. "Deal?" I repeated myself, trying not to sound absolutely hopeless.

I smiled, knowing that was all I'd get from it anyway. Dancing wasn't my style unless I drank a lot, and I didn't see any fine alcohol here. "Deal," I answered. He looked back at me and smiled. It was nice to have a brother who cared. I had a sister once. But that was over now, wasn't it? I missed the family I had. I left everything behind. My sister, my mom, my boyfriend. Well, we weren't together anymore, but that was OK. We needed time apart, like he said. I don't think either of us planned on this being what would happen.

Did anyone back home even know I was gone? Did they think I was missing or dead? Or had they simply forgotten? Forgetting me was better. I didn't want to go back. I wanted to stay here with my new family.

I knew Tar wanted to hunt before the party. "You can go," I said. He shook his head. "I'm going to stay right here like Saph told me to."

"Now look who's being stubborn? Go hunt; I know you want to." He sighed and shook his head again. I nodded to him.

I looked amused between Annie and Tarrion. "Um Tarrion I think you can go we have the fort held down pretty well here." I said insistently.

I nodded, but the action didn't help. I hid the pain from my face as good as possible, closing my eyes even, trying to clear my mind. I was pretty sure Tar could see it on my face anyway. He didn't need that much more pain. I was sure he thought that he was the reason for this. Well, if he had fighting skills, he wouldn't have been taken! I laughed quietly to myself. I actually liked being the one who came in and made him jump out of the helicopter.

I wasn't going to let that go was I? I loved to hear it when he told the story of how I made him jump out of the helicopter. I sounded like the retard, and he sounded smart. Though jumping from that far up, hoping you don't hit the rocks below and you don't hit the shallow part of the water, is pretty stupid too. Just saying.

I pretended to be hurt. "You just wanna get rid of me," I sniffed.

Saphire giggled. "Yeah, you'd better get going."

I laughed and stood up, pointing a finger at Annie. "Remember to behave while I'm gone okay?"

She rolled her eyes and I turned, hating myself for it. I was actually going to leave her here? Yes, yes I was. I turned quickly. "Oh, and please don't rip up any more of my shirts. I've only got two left and I don't want to walk around like this all the time." I winked and pulled my gun from my pocket and headed for the woods.

Would I have the gut to actually pick the thing up after it was dead? What thing was I looking for exactly? Better yet, would I find anything? I shook my head and wandered farther, listening. Rustling to my right caught my attention and I froze, gun ready. I craned my neck, but couldn't see anything so I kept walking.

I was actually happy when Tar left. I didn't have to hide the pain anymore. Saphire wouldn't care anyway. I sat up, and she tried to make me lay back down. My side hurt worse than before. I wasn't the best at masking the pain, but I did fairly well. Saphire kept telling me that I was going to hurt myself if I moved right now, and I didn't feel like hearing it anymore, and I wanted the pain to go away, so I laid back down and waited. Waited for it to all go away, for it to all end, for it to all be over with...

OK, I didn't die, but I finally fell asleep. Which was good for me, because it meant the pain had died down enough for me to sleep. Or ignore it at the least.

Okay...
So Saph has been found (she walked in on Domi and Tar making out xD)
and Saph is with Annie 'cause Annie's like... well... not so good.
Tar's hunting and he plans on asking Domi to marry him (he's going insane if I do say so myself)
I think Domi, Wren and Gemma are all out hunting for a herb for Annie.
No clue where Logan and Matt are at!
We're having a party tonight. Yepppp

I was flummoxed by fractious Franny's decision to abrogate analgesics for the moribund victims of the recent conflagration. Of course, to display histrionics was discretionary, but I did so anyways, implicating a friend in my drama to make the effect cumulative. I think a misanthrope would have a prosaic appellation, perhaps one related to autonomy and the rejection of anthropocentrism. I think they wouldn't think much of the prominence of watching the coagulation of tea to prognosticate future malevolent events, not even if those events were related to jurisprudence.
