LOGAN

I to find the beast before the others, I had to be the one to kill it. The beasts had killed my brother right before my eyes, just after we arrived here. It was time for a little payback. I snuck around in the trees feeling for the small switchblade I always kept in my pocket since that night. I found myself heading back in the direction of camp, hoping to do a little spying, to see if they knew about the beasts yet. There was a large heap blocking the path, I quickly jogged to get a closer look. It was a beast. I could feel the color draining from my face, it was dead. They knew. I had to move fast.

The growling sound grew steadily louder. I was frozen in place. Suddenly I heard a rustling in the bushes. I had been standing here so long, I was seperate from everyone except Annie, who was pulling my arm. "C'mon! Lets go!"

"No, what if Logan-"

"Wren, we have to go!"

"But-"

The beast jumped out, snarling.

I had no clue why I growled at it, but I did. I jumped at it, like an animal. You couldn't live here almost two months and not start to act like an animal. I jumped at it, stabbing it with my knife. This one was larger, and it threw me away from it. I regained myself, picking my body up off the ground, and going at it again. I finally got it in the eye, and it stopped dead long enough for me to leave a huge slice in its face.

I didn't like doing it, but, as I said before, you do what you have to.

"You come quietly, without argument or I'll be forced to use this," I hissed, waving the bottle infront of his face.

He eyed me for a moment, like he was staring at a mental-case. Okay, so I won't deny I wasn't a mental case. But hey, it had gotten me this far. Finally he said something. "I can't walk. The ass shot me."

"I saw. I guess I'll have to carry you then, huh?" I winked, grinning from ear to ear.

"Umm...."

I sighed. "Don't underestimate me." I helped him to his feet. "First off, you're going to lean on me. I refuse to carry you the whole way there, got it?"

KYLE

I leaned against the chick, she was stronger then she looked. I was contemplating fighting back just to get knocked out. But i didn't the entire way she didn't say anything. I liked that, she was quiet, and determined. My kind of partner in crime. It felt like we had been hobbling around for hours. Then we came up to a huge building. I was shocked, i thought i knew this island well! My bad leg hurt like freaking heck!

DOMI

"Can we go back, i want to see if they ate any chickens." I looked back up at tarrion. He smiled back down at me.
"Of course, everyone stay together." He said. I clung to him like crazy. I was so scared. We were in eye shot of the camp.
"I'll be right back then we'll go look for Logan." pecked his lips then bounced into camp. Still had the chickens, no blood. Good. I turned around to go back to them and froze, staring at the tree kyle was tied to. One problem, he wasn't there, and there was no blood to show if he died. He escaped. I shrieked, dropping the knife.

I looked towards Annie, slightly thunderstruck. "Is it... dead?" I asked.

"Yes," she said with a nod, shaking a bit.

TARRION

I heard Domi shriek and darted back towards the camp. "What's wr-" I saw the tree, I saw the Kyleless ropes. I walked over to Domi, scanning the trees and pulling her close. "It'll be fine. Just stay close to me tonight," I assured her, kissing the top of her head.

The little runt was out again! I wasn't too worried, he couldn't have gotten too far considering I had shot him in four places and broken his jaw. He's practically immobile. Probably lieing half-dead in the bushes feet away from the tree. Nothing to worry about...

SAMANTHA

I noticed Kyle's dazzled expression and grinned. "This isn't even the building. This is just the wall." I took out the rag and put it over his eyes.

"What the-"

I flicked the side of his head. "You're not allowed to know how to get in," I hissed, guiding him to the hidden door. The whole facility was underground, the kids had probably walked all over it without even noticing. After we were down the elevator and in the hall, I pulled the cloth away from his eyes.

"Welcome to my domain," I muttered. "Now, about your little problem..."

DOMINIQUE

I nodded resting my head on his chest. How could he get away! He was practically half dead! Tarrion shot him three times. THREE. I could feel myself trembling. I wouldn't let him hurt tarrion. Or annie. Or anyone! Why did he bring them into this? He was my problem, i would have to deal with him sooner or later. I rather later. But I couldn't let people continue to fight my battles. I looked up to tarrion, hearing a low snarl in the distance.
"We better go find logan." He nodded as we walked back into the trees.

KYLE

This was amazing, If she was going to help me then i had no problem with her bringing me here.
"what problem are you talking about. Being shot? I cant even move my fingers in one hand." I looked down at her. She smiled back up at me.
"Yes that, and your little, dominique problem." I gasped, she was seriously going to help me with dominique? Wow did i die and go to heaven?

I was just stunned. How could Kyle have gotten away again? If I would have stayed here, he wouldn't have moved an inch. But what made me think I could have hit him then, when I couldn't hit him before? Because he wasn't a threat when I had the chance. He was just as scared as any of us were, and anyone could see that. That was all I wanted. Him to realise how we felt, and understand that wasn't a good feeling. But obviously the gun didn't scare him enough. I looked down at my hands while I sat on the ground outside.

I looked at the scars from when I was angry earlier. Or was that yesterday? I had no sense of time anymore. I looked where the ring used to be. It was now on Domi's hand, and she was looking at it, happy. I smiled, wanting it all to work out.

I had killed so many of the beasts, I couldn't count how many. I wasn't the only one killing them, but I was probably the only one who was skilled enough to kill them quickly and without causing them pain. Normally, I went for the nerve on the back of their neck, or, if I couldn't get to their back, the long nerve across their face. Splitting that usually put them out instantly, if you cut it deep enough. If you didn't put your knife in deep enough, you wouldn't touch the nerve, and you would cause it too much pain, making it mad enough to kill you. Yea, I was skilled with that. Maybe I could teach them to fight instead of beating them and angering them. Tar seemed interested at least. He and Domi came to sit next to me, Domi giving me a slight hug.

I loved them both so much. They were the best family, all of them. I looked at the ring, happy to see it being used. Tar smiled at me, knowing exactly what I was looking at.

I groaned in pain and sat up and rubbed the back of my head finding dried blood. I saw Domi and Annie first. "Domi Annie what the hell is going on here?" I asked my voice dry and raspy.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

I stared at Kyle for a moment, scruntanizing him. "You'll need stitches and your bones set first off. Mark will take care of that." I sighed and led him down to our small medical ward.

Mark was already inside, smoking. In the medical ward. I tapped on the window and he jumped, obviously well-aware that he had been caught doing something stupid. I opened the door and immediately started yelling at him. "I have no problem with smoking, but you are not to do it in the medical ward! Get your flippin' ciggarettes out and your butt back in!"

He nodded, blinking and scurried off. Kyle shifted uneasily and I led him in and helped him onto the table. "Stay," I ordered, crossing my arms. "Now, I have a few questions I need from you here."

"Okay..."

I smiled. "Good boy. Now, I need to know a few things here. Answer them in order." I winked before continuing. "Number one, why do you want Domi? You obviously don't actually love her. Number two, are you able to get Tarrion here without injuring him? I need him here in perfect health. And Number three, did you know that Tarrion and Dominique are currently engaged? Or did you somehow miss that?"

I smirked up at the girl, she's saving your flippin life, might as well answer her questions and stay in her good side. At least until she's no more use to you. I sighed,
"Number one, because i've already 'claimed' her, if you know what i mean. Number two, ya i could, not like i dont want to hurt him, but i could. Number three YES." I snapped the yes. She frowned,
"Don't get snappy with me." I mentally rolled my eyes at her, she might be strong for a girl, but i was stronger. That guy came back in, this should be fun. I became fidgety in my spot, i hated doctors, i hated hospitables and i hated getting hurt, getting tarrion here in one piece would be difficult.

I smiled at Mark. "He needs bones set and stitches. No surgeries, no insicions. They'll take too long to heal and we need him up and running. I'm going to go get the next group together." I blew a kiss and slammed the door, hurrying back to the monitor room.

"Ohhhh Daaamonnn," I chirped as I entered the door.

He turned his head and arched an eyebrow. "You're in an awefully good mood."

"Why yes, yes I am. Ruining lives seems to do that to me." I winked and looked up at the monitors. "I'm going to start making preperations for the next group. I want them here tomorrow night. Tarrion will be here in two. Have things ready."

"What things?" he asked, yawning.

"I suppose it would help you to know that huh?" I cleared my throat. "I need that experimental drug I had out and ready in Room 32. I'll take care of the rest." This would be the first time anybody but myeslf had been inside of room 32. The thought unnerved me slightly. "Kyle's here, and he's a snippy one. I presume my orders have been understood?"

"Much," I answered. I really didn't feel like being the one who did all of this, but I got on it right away. I walked pass Kyle and Samantha in the hall, turning around to look at him. I smiled halfway, knowing I could take him in a fight, and win. Sam waved me off, and I mimicked. She smiled and shook her head. If she was in a bad mood, she would have yelled. I was the minion, and the minion had to do everything the master told him to do. And I did everything she told me to do.

I turned away from Damon and back to Kyle, eyeing his stitches. "Do they hurt?" I asked, my voice holding mock-sweetness that I was trying to make sound real.

Kyle shrugged. "Not really with the painkillers."

I forced a smile and nodded. "That's good then." I cleared my throat. "Now, we need Tarrion. Alive. Do you think you could lure him closer to the wall?"

Kyle shrugged yet again. "I guess..."

"If you can get him close to the wall and then knock him out, I'll take care of the rest." I turned towards Mark, who was magically behind me. "Umm... can I help you?" I asked coolly.

"Am I piloting tomorrow?" he asked, shifting on his feet.

"Yes." I turned my back and flicked my wrist at him.

TARRION

I leapt over a log, scanning the forest and fidgeted with my gun. Annie had seemed to be able to spot beasts lurking, but I wasn't seeing any. I could only feel them watching me. A shiver worked its way up my spine.

"Logan! Get your butt out here man!" I hollered into the bushes.

"Tarrion?" It was his voice, again... but where was it coming from?

"You alright?"

"Fine."

I sighed and chose a direction.
