Hi everyone! I was just wondering if any of you has ever read in their sleep? Is it even possible? What do you think?

I think your eyes have to be open to read. Unless, of course, you're listening to a book on tape! But yeah. Otherwise, I would have learned a lot more about heat transfer than I did!
And I'm pretty sure I've read in my dreams, if that's the question!

Well you can have your eyes open when sleeping. Because I either slept read or had a dream that i was reading. I was reading a Warrior book when it happened, the next morning When i was reading it kinda seemed like i read it before. When you were dreaming that you were read did the words burn or like on fire?

Perhaps the book was predictable? You may've read to a point, slept and dreamt about what could've happened next and then woke up the next morning and began reading something quite similar to where you had dreamt the plot would go.
What I want to know is 'Do you guys think it is possible to sleep-read?'

well if you can sleep walk, talk, eat... However, I'm just guessing that the part of your brain that would understand/meaningfully hold onto what you had read wouldn't be functioning enough to really hold onto it. The cognitive process would be a bit iffy. Just a guess!

That's never happened to me. But I have had dreams of reading a book (for example, Harry Potter), and then everything that happens is different and somehow I'm making it up as I read it, but at the same time it's still Harry Potter. o.0
