Personality:Onyx was born ready to fight. She's been training her entire life for these games, and she will stop at nothing to win them. She is the most determined person you will ever meet, and a loyal friend to those on her side. Once in the arena, though, anything goes. She is a career, but won't hesitate to kill the others when it is time. In general, she's more of the strong silent type, but she has a fiery personality under the surface that will come out if you insult her or her brother.
Specialty/skills: very strong hand-to hand fighter, good with knives.
History: Onyx hasn't has such a bad life compared to most. She rarely goes hungry, and her family has always had enough to get by. She has two parents, and one older brother who's aged out of the reaping. She has been preparing for the games her entire life. Her father and brother trained her to fight hand-to-hand, and lifting heavy boxes of goods all day has given her a lot of strength. I her free time, she throws knives. She was reaped, but it didn't come as a surprise to her. Her name had been entered many times, and she was ready. She's exited and a bit nervous, she knows it will be incredibly difficult and she'll probably die. However, she's not going down without a fight and knows it is an honorable death.
Survival technique: team up with the careers untill the end, when she hopes to win by brute strength.
Up for allies:only careers, and she will kill them near the end.
Other:Her greatest role-model is her brother.

Name: Cain

Age: 17

Gender: Male

District: 1

Appearance: Cain is tall and broad tanned shouldered. His brown hair is cut quite short, and his dark brown eyes make him seem lost if you look in them. He has a lot of upper body strength, so his muscles are quite obvious.

Personality: Although he was trained for the Hunger Games after his sister's death he feels anguish, and ever since that day he hasn't been the same. Doesn't really talk unless the situation requires him to, or he is asked something. He wants to win the games for his sister, but at the same time he doesn't think he could take that many lives.

Specialty/skills: Excellent with most close-range weapons although his aim is quite bad, so he stays away from projectiles. Apart from fighting he can make fires with ease, as well as fish which is something unusual for a district 1 competitor.

Survival technique: Team up with the Careers or stay alone.

Up for allies: Only the careers or any people that he thinks will be valuable for a short time. Apart from that his other plan is to try and survive alone.

Other: Up for love, but I doubt we shall have time for that.

Name: Cari Hunter

Age: 18

Gender: female

District: 10

Appearance: Cari is average height, has shoulder length brown hair, and light green eyes. She is pretty strong from the manual labor associated with caring for livestock, so she has some muscles.

Personality: Cari is adventurous and a bit reckless at times. She doesn't bother herself much with people outside her family and a select few others she is forced to associate herself with. The opposite sex has never interested itself in her, though she isn't unattractive. Cari does best when she is on her own.

Specialty/skills: she's pretty good at tying knots, and has some skill when it comes to using knives. And due to a personal interest she is great at making fire and using it as a weapon.

History: Cari has lived on a ranch with her family for her entire life. She has seven brothers and sisters and barns full of cattle and sheep. She has spent her days riding horses and herding livestock, as well as any manual labor that comes with caring for the animals. When she was around eleven years old, the family started to notice the livestock they were entrusted with was starting to disappear. With there being great consequences for losing any of the governments livestock, Cari was sent out into the pastures at night to watch out for whatever was causing the animals to disappear. Armed with only a knife, a bow and arrows she never managed to understand how to use, and a small fire she treked out into the pastures. After several days of staying out in the dark, strange creatures appeared on the pasture (presumably some old muttations created by the government). They were too large for a knife to do any damage. Cari managed to use the fire to ignite the arrows and she used them as spears against the muttations. They caught fire and burned to death. Since then, Cari has been a bit of a pyromaniac and has practiced her skill in secrecy.

When Cari was chosen in the reaping, she was shocked. Her family had always gotten by, so she had never opted to put her name in extra times for the pathetic supply of grain she would recieve. Still, she couldn't help but feel excited for being picked. Sure she would probably die, but there wasn't much outlook for adventure in District 10 and her family would survive just fine without her. She walked up to the spot where the three other tributes stood and flashed the crowd a winning smile.

Survival technique: Kill whoever she can

Up for allies: Sure, but she'll have to really be convinced that she needs an ally for her to take one.

Other: Her token is a horseshoe-shaped necklace on a tightly woven rope. The necklace doubles as a wistle to call livestock, but it is nearly impossible to tell it has that capability.

Though she is feeling very confident in herself, it is a mask for the fear of never seeing her home again that resides deep in her. She is keeping the feat at bay, but can only deny it for so long.
