Dear Sare,

Sorry for the wait, but now the camera's working, here is your long-awaighted Poof. I hope I have drawn him well enough that it does his memory justice.

(A while ago, Sare Agama asked me to draw a representation of his cat that passed away, Poof.)

Here you go!

That picture looks so real! How did you do that? Did you do many layers of pencil drawing? Or something else?

It looks like she used charcoal.

Hi Durriedog! :D
This is a good picture! I love the little white spot on the dogs chest.
The only thing is that it looks like the dog doesn't have a chin.
Other then that you did a fantastic job! :smt003
Keep drawing!

Aww, cute! Really realistic, too. Did you use charcoal or what? The fur's got a lot of nice texture to it.
Anyway, do you have a scanner? This is still a nice picture, but it'd look even better if you ran it through a scanner so that it wasn't quite as blurry.

Thanks guys!! I used charcoal and I layered it, but sadly I don't have a scanner - it broke, and that's the main reason why I didn't get it up here sooner. And in this case, sooner is about five months. I'm so slack.

Hahaha, what a great name for such a cat! He looks rather upset... like someone forgot to put a dryer sheet in when he was put in the dryer. XD Static attack, go!

Anyway. :P

Again, you need to work on your camera skills! You should practice getting things in focus. It'll serve you well in your artistic endeavors! But this is a beautiful cat. :D

Durrie!

I agree. You need to start improving your photography.
Anyway, from what I can make out with this, the yes could have a bit more of shine/glint. Cats' eyes are generally gleamy.
I'm not sure what the white patch is supposed to be, but if it's a patch of white fur, you should streak it with a little of very mild grey to shoow texture.

Good job, anyway.

Cheers,
