I saw she pulled out a small and furry dog. "Um ok then." I said confused. The dog was alive just stunned and soaked. I turned towards the back and made my way to where I had been sitting. I pulled out my plastic bag and gave out a cry of joy. My sketchpad pencils and journal were still inside and dry. "Yes!" I said happily. I felt the water move and turned towards the movement Lizzy was coming up behind me with her dog in her arms. "What?" She asked. I held up my plastic bag my face full of joy. "My sketchpad and journal. I was so worried I would have to survive the time I was here without it." I said smiling out of sheer happiness. "Ah." She said.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

I know I know the dog wouldn’t have survived  but, what is done is done, and I couldn’t help myself when I was writing. Here is a picture of what she looks like. Just a bit smaller. :P.

I flopped down in the sand next to Sara. I was perfectly happy. I could relate with Sara getting her drawing pad and pencils back (would do almost anything for a novel), but I felt like being myself. That probably wasn’t the smartest thing to do when your plane just crashed on a tropical island so I compromised.
The boy was going through some of the garbage strewn across the sand. Annie lay still pressed against my stomach and began to sleep. Water seeped through my T-shirt.

I pulled out my journal and started writing a poem out of the blue. ' I hate this pain
My tears fall like rain
I scream in the night
No one hears me fight
I can not give in
Pain will not win
I cant fight much longer
no one hears me
Scream
No one cares to stop and help
I am trapped in this hell
Forever
And ever
Trapped in a little black box
Alone
All alone
I plead
I bleed
I hope that you will help
I reach for you
All of you
You slap my hands aside
Scream at me
Tell me I'm useless
You will never be good as us
I am broken on the inside
But I will pick myself up for the fight' I smiled at the finished poem and read it aloud quietly to myself. *Note Sara writes this kind of stuff because of whats going on at home she is not depressed or planning to kill herself*

I saw one of the girls--Lizzy, I thought--run into the plane, and emerge with a soaked dog. She had called it Annie Muffin. I thought it was a weird name for a dog, but at least it wasn't called Fluffy, or Spot. There were few things I hated more than a dog with a stupid unoriginal name.

I walked up to it and started barking an equivalent to, "Hi. My name is Vicki. How are you?"

It barked back, saying in dog, "Hungry. And cold. And hungry."

I looked up at Lizzy. "Your dog wants something to eat."

"Oh," she said, almost surprised. I guess she hadn't seen anybody talk to a dog before--in dog language. "Thanks. I wonder where there's some dog food."

"It's also cold. I'll go find something to dry it off with." I headed back toward the plane.

Opening someone's travel bag, I found a sweatshirt. And a video camera. The bag must have been waterproof, because they were both dry.

I returned outside with my findings. I tossed the sweatshirt at Lizzy, then waved the camera in the air. "Look what I found," I said triumphantly.
"Blah blah blah. You feel trapped in your life. Here is what I am hearing: happiness isn't worth any inconvenience."

I looked confused at the girl she was on an angle so I couldn't read her lips. "What did you say?" I asked looking at her. "Are you deaf?" She asked turning towards me. "Yeah I am." I said. "I found a camcorder." She said holding it up still turned towards me.

Vicki was waving a camera in the air, but I didn’t pay any attention. I felt bad I hadn’t done more when Vicki told me she was cold and hungry. It was kind of weird when she talked in dog language though. I rubbed Annie with the blanket. Up and down back and forth. Pretty soon it was soaked, and I laid it on the sand to dry.
The sun was going down.“We should probably make camp now.” I said. “And look through the wreckage to see if there is anything useful. Where did the boy go?” The boy was gone and no yelling to tell where he was either like before.

I nodded in agreement to what Lizzie had said. I walked over to the wreckage poking through it to find something useful.

Considering no one seemed to find the video camera I found all that interesting, I walked a little ways done the beach and found a secluded area behind a pile of huge rocks. I set the camera on one of the rocks and pressed the on button. It flashed to life and I positioned myself in front of it.

"My name is Victoria Grace," I said to it. "You can call me Vicki.

"Today I got caught in a plane crash. Me and three other people didn't make it off the plane, but we all survived. I'm making this video diary in case we don't make it. I know it's a cliche, but I don't care.

"I'll touch down every once in a while. But now I need to head back. They might be looking for me soon, and we need to set up some sort of camp. Bye for now."

I turned off the camera, and started for the plane.

Everybody was gathered around arguing about whether to make a fire, or find some sort of shelter.

"Dudes," I said. "Half and half. Liz, Sara, make a fire. Finn, help me find some shelter."

I swear, some people were pure idiots.

Sorry this is a bit long, I want to try, emphasis on try, and make something interesting happen. :pirate3:

Jake

I rolled up the sleeves of my blue and purple jacket as a broad smile grew across my face. All of the contestants were awake now and they all seemed pretty energetic. I was sure that they'd be eager to do something rather exciting. I literally jumped up off my chair and spun around to face Adam, who still looked as though he was sucking on a lemon.

"Have we still got them wild pigs?" I said, putting my neon pink baseball cap on my head.

"Yes sir," Adam mumbled.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Good!" I yelled, practically skipping over to him. "Let those piggies out!"

Adam simply stared at me, his eyes narrowed. That dude needed to lighten up! How could he not be excited about this? He was going to have the pleasure of watching a load of random guys and girls being attacked by wild pigs. How cool was that?

"Sir, are you sure about this?" Adam finally said. "I mean, it could be dangerous. I don't think that you sho-"

"Yes, I'm sure!" I grinned. "I'm so, so, so, so sure! Like, really sure!"

I couldn't help but notice Adam mutter something about me being mentally retarded, but I didn't really give a crap. I bent down and grabbed my non-matching pair of high-tops and pulled them onto my feet. Unsurprisingly, Adam stared at my colourful shoes, clearly not impressed.

"Come on Adam bwwwoi!" I laughed, jumping back up. "Set those piggies out on them contestants!"

Adam once again mumbled something under his breath before leaving the room. I left the room after him, beat boxing as I did so. I followed Adam out of the small office building and into the large forest outside. I could still hear Adam cursing under his breath as I followed him into the animal pen.

"Sir, I don't think it's a good idea for you to be out here." He suddenly spoke.

Not a good idea for me to be out? I had ADHD, I wasn't allergic to sunlight. Idiot. I laughed at my thoughts as Adam rolled his eyes. By doing that, he only made me laugh even more. That dude seriously needed to learn how to have a good time. The most exciting thing he'd ever done was drink tea without milk. He dressed the way he acted as well; boring and plain. Right now, he was wearing a plain black suit.

As I thought about this, I hadn't realised that Adam had already opened the pen for the wild boars. Suddenly, they were all racing out of the animal pen, eager for something to eat. Seconds later, the wild boars were headed towards the unknowing contestants. This was going to be great.
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

Liz and I had finished making the fire when the ground started to shake slightly. I looked up and noticed that no one else had noticed it then it hit me I was deaf so I was more sensitive to these things. I tapped Liz on the shoulder and she turned towards me. "Do you feel that?" I asked as the shaking got worse. She shook her head looking at me as if I had 3 heads. I sighed took her hand and put it to the ground. "Now do you?" I asked looking at her. She nodded looking slightly scared. I bit my lip and looked around trying to find the reason for the noise and saw the trees moving slightly about 30 yards from Vicki. I whistled and Vicki looked at me her face annoyed. I pointed behind her and she turned around just as wild boars burst out of the trees and ran towards her. I moved faster then I ever thought possible and grabbed a burning branch out of the fire. I ran towards the boars and Vicki who was strangely calm. I knew that she could talk to animals but I knew how boars got when they were hungry and these were showing all the signs. I brandished my burning branch and shouted 'Back!" walking forward slowly forcing them to retreat and I smiled only slightly and very briefly.

They burst out of the trees, six wild boars. I froze in panic. Sara ran towards them and Vicki brandishing a flaming stick. The fire made them retreat, but who would give up that easily. Some charged towards Vicki and others made a large ark coming to me. Suddenly I could move and I did.
Just as I jumped up they came. I picked up one of the rocks we had placed around the fire and threw it. My aim wasn’t perfect. Instead of hitting the boar in the eyes like I had meant to. Instead it bounced off its hard head. It looked around for a second, but the other charged. I leaped away just in time. The other one was coming now. I leaped out of the way again. Pain sliced through my side. CRAP!
Now they were both coming. I was about to get trampled (probably killed) when tingling covered my body. The flames from the fire expanded making a sort of circle around me. The boars skidded to a stop at the edge now wrestling with the choice.

As the boars trampled towards me, I felt no panic. Even though my subconscious was screaming at me saying I don't care if you can talk to animals, you. Are. Going. To. Die. Do something! I ignored it. It was as if my ability to fear was cut off. Numb. I calmly stretched out my hand and said in boar "Hello. I am a friend." Their general response was "Hello. You are dead." Still I was at peace.

One of them ran straight for me. I could hear it loud and clear. "She's mine." I smiled serenely. It rammed into my midsection and sent me flaying backward. I hit a tree. My breathing came in spasms and pain flooded my being. Terror shot at me like an overstretched rubber band.

What happened?! I wondered frantically. For a few moments it was as if the part of my brain which dealt with fear died. Or was overpowered.

The boar charged at me again. I had time just enough to realize my danger. With no time to spare, I scampered up the huge oak that I had hit. Compared to the enormous boar, it didn't look half as unbreakable. I prayed it would hold.

Time and again the wild pig rammed into the tree, jarring me. My teeth rattled. I hoped everyone else was doing better than me.

I ran to Vicki and smacked the boar in the face with the stick before it could ram into the tree again. It turned towards me and slammed into my midsection. I jumped out of the way before it could slam into me again. I watched its progress and noticed to my horror it was running towards Lizzy "LIZZY WATCH OUT!!" I screamed as loud as I could running towards her. I did the one thing that came to mind I attemepted to stab it in its stomach and ram it into a rock. I missed and stabbed its rump. I blinked in mild surprise.

A boar was running towards me at full speed. But, at the last minute Sara hit in the rump with a rock. It looked dazed for a moment then whirled. I had to get its attention. I grabbed a branch from the sand flinging it with all my might. It wasn't a perfect throw, but it did clip the boars back.

As it turned I started to run. I made it to the water, but just barely. The boar seemed afraid of the water, but unlike I had hoped it stood there following my every move. I glance back at Sara. She had headed toward the woods and was doing something, I couldn't really tell. She had to think of something and fast.
