I could feel warmth on my face, and see light, dulled through my eyelids. It all begged for me to wake up, but I resisted. This worked well until something wetted my foot, then my leg. It was chilled, like ice.

I opened my eyes just a little, squinting, for the sun was blaring down on me. Even so, part of me wanted to just lay there, on my comfortable bed of sand.

Sand? I flicked my eyes open the rest of the way. Sure enough, I was laying on a stretch of beach, my legs getting tickled by the rising tide.

I jumped up. Where am I? I thought. Who am I? For a moment which lasted for an eternity, my past was no more than a tangle of nothingness. Soon, though, my thoughts unfogged, and my recollections came barreling back to me.

My name is Vicki. I realized.

It was nice, knowing who I was. But more memories came, some filled with pain, not pleasure.

I was on a plane, coming back from that boarding school in England. Then, suddenly, the plane faltered. It started smoking and descended quickly--too quickly.

It was a feeling of weightlessness--terrifying weightlessness--that came with dropping while buckled into the seats. For those who were not buckled, or walking the aisle, they groped for something to hold on to--anything. Some, surprised by the sudden lurch, hit the ceiling, then fell.

After a several minutes of fighting the metal bird, our cowardly pilot took the only parachute on board, and jumped. Then it was a mad house.

Everyone was panicking, rushing for the seat cushion/life preservers. In bunches, they jumped from the failing plane, into the salty waters of the Atlantic below. In the chaos, I had not managed to get out with the rest.

Back on the beach, I wondered if I was the only one, or if more remained stranded. And if I wasn’t alone, if there were any survivors. I glanced over at the crushed plane wreckage--it was a miracle in and of itself it had not exploded--and surveyed the rest of the beach. Scattered near the debris, there were a few lying, apparently unconscious.

I hesitated, then went over to see whether they were alive, or dead.

This was going to be immense! I couldn't believe it was even happening. I was actually going to have my own TV show, me! I was literally dancing around my office. Whistling cheerfully to myself, I looked at one of the camera screens.

As I looked, my eyes widened. One of the girls were awake!

"Hell yeah!" I yelled, leaning forward towards the screen.

Adam, my assistant, looked up at me and rolled his eyes. Pfft, miserable ass. How could I not be excited, it was my own TV show, for God's sake! Grinning broadly, I watched the screen carefully.

"Adam!" I called, my eyes still glued onto the screen. "Get us some carrot sticks or sumit?"

"Yes sir," Adam mumbled, clearly not as excited as I was.

Seconds later, I heard Adam get out of his chair and leave the room. What was that guys problem? I'd only asked him for carrot sticks. What was wrong with that? Laughing to myself, I turned my full attention back to the screen.

The girl seemed to be heading towards the plane wreck. I scanned the wreckage with my eyes, looking for the other contestants. None of the others appeared to be awake, not yet anyway. It was so exciting!

Suddenly, I saw someone else moving in the plane wreck.

"Sir, there weren't any carro-" Adam's voice rang in my ear.

"Shh!" I yelled back at him.
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

Someone was shaking me. No, I thought. I want to go back to sleep. I rolled over reaching for me pillow. Sand? I abruptly sat up. There was a girl sitting in front of me. She had brown hair, big gray eyes, and an almost round face, but not quite. “You o.k.?” she asks. “Yeah,” I say, “what hap” Then it all comes rushing back. The panic. “where are we?” I look around. Luggage is littered about on a long stretch of beach. Behind me There is a thick tropical forest. “I don’t know.” She says. Then I notice two other people. One looks like a boy. I shudder, “are they?” I hesitate. “I don’t know any more than you do.” She snaps, “Come on, lets go see if there alive.”

As I get up sand falls off me and I notice that my arms are really sun burnt. I sigh, but the girl doesn’t ask why. “Whats your name?”
“My name is Vicki. You talk way too much. Now come ON.”

I walked over to one of the girls, and shook her. At first she simply brushed me off, but then her eyes opened.

"You OK?" I asked her.

"What hap--" She seemed to start to panic. "Where are we?" she asked, looking around anxiously.

"I don't know," I replied.

She saw the other people. "Are they--?" she hesitated.

"I don't know any more than you do." I snapped.

We were both stuck on a deserted island after surviving a plane crash. Does she really expect me to know these answers?

"Come on," I said. "Let's go see if they're alive."

As she got up, I saw she had sunburned her arms. Join the club, I thought, looking down at my own red limbs.

"What's your name?" she asked.

"Vicki. You talk too much," My friends said I could be blunt. I didn't see it. "Now come ON." I wanted to know if they were dead. Was that such a bad thing?

I sat up my body one solid mass of pain. I realized several things at once. 1. I had no idea where I was 2. I wasn't supposed to be here 3. I had no idea who these people were. I bit my lip and tasted blood. ''I was going to my grandmothers house and the plane crashed?'' I said aloud.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

Sorry... all the spots are taken.

OOOO! WAIT! I just thought of one. :smt003

You can be either:

1. Jake's henchman. Basically, you get to set all the traps, and like help make a mess of things.

2. Some crazy native, hired by Jake, or otherwise.

If you want. If those don't interest you then... I couldn't make you a contestant, because then we'd have to change some of the posts already posted.

Finn Landford.

Dirt sprayed my face, my lips pursing in anger. My tongue dragged across the bottom of my lip, the salty taste burnt at my dry chin. I groaned loudly, I could hear voices close by, though their words were oblivious to me.

I began to move, a wall of strong pain hit at my head forcing me to fall back towards the hard ground. I felt something begin to crawl across my leg. I scrunched my nose up in annoyance. What ever it was, it was starting to give me the goose bumps. It began to crawl up my pants; I jumped instantly to my feet shouting loudly.

A sharp pain jolted my leg. Squealing I began hit at the lower of my pants. More pain jolted my leg. Jumping towards the floor I began to roll in a hysteric, calling out random words. Something darted from the shorts of my pants and scurried across the hot sand.
I looked over my shoulder to see a crab jump behind a rock, its red shell gleaming in the sun. I lifted the leg of my pants to see bloody welts pulsing over my leg. I cringed letting the pants fall down. My stomach grumbled loudly. Crab does seem pretty good today.

Grabbing at a stick, I edged towards the cluster of rocks where the crab was hidden within.
"Here little crabby, crabby! I'm not going to hurt you-" I placed my head closer to the cluster, raising my stick. A claw jabbed out from behind a moss pile striking me in the nose.

I let a flourish of swear words escape my swollen lips jumping back, the crab dangling from my nose. "Get it off me, Get it off me!" I cried loudly. Grabbing on its shell I flung the crab into the bubbling water collapsing to the ground in a heat craze.

"Are you okay?" Something droned in my ear. "No!" I complained, "I just threw away my dinner!" I froze, there was someone else. I turned around instantly to see a group of badly sun burnt girls staring wide eyed back at me.
I spy!

The Vicki girl and were headed over to the other girl when she sat up and began mumbling to herself. As our shadows cast across her legs she turned.
“oh” she said sounding surprised.
“There’s others.” Unlike me she didn’t ask a million questions. She just stood up and brushed the sand of her black skinny jeans. I was about to introduce myself when a boy started jumping up and down hitting his pants leg. He gave off a string of curse words, and not in his quiet voice. He seemed to fall to the ground in panic; he began to roll hysterically until a crab scurried out of his pants leg. Then the boy stopped for a moment and looked at his leg. I couldn’t tell what it looked like, but he winced and that couldn’t mean anything good.
A look of anger covered his face, and picking up a stick he edged closer to the rocks the crab had scuttled into.
Here little crabby, crabby! I'm not going to hurt you-" he said in that sing song voice you use on dogs. He leaned closer and closer to the rocks, and I had to stifle laughter as the crab pinched his nose. He flung his head back, but it was too late. The crab dangled there swing back and forth as the boy went into a weird dance. Flailing his arms and screaming,
"Get it off me, Get it off me!" Finally he grabbed it and flung it into the water. He stared for a moment than sat down in the sand with a thump. Oddly enough he still hadn’t noticed us.
"Are you okay?" I asked tentatively.
"No! I just threw away my dinner!” He whined. Only then did he realize that someone had just asked him a question. He turned a look of surprise on his face.

Considering my character's the scriptwriter, I won't post all that often. When I do post though, they might be quite long. That okay?

Jake

I watched in awe as the ant-like people in front of me wondered around, completely helpless. I smiled; my life was now complete. I kind of felt bad. I mean, they must have been seriously freaked out with what was going on. I leaned back in my chair, and thought carefully. Ah well, it wasn't like they were any danger or anything.

"Sir, is it okay if I go to the toilet?" Adam's voice interrupted my amusement.

Seriously? He was asking for permission to go and have a crap? Jesus, he'd be asking me to wipe it next. I couldn't help but burst out laughing to myself. Adam on the other hand, just looked slightly disturbed.

"Uh..." Adam raised his eyebrows. "Have you taken your tablets today, sir?"

"Nah, couldn't be arsed!" I continued laughing hysterically. "You can go crap, by the way, Adam."

Looking at me one more time, Adam quickly left the room. That dude had issues. Still laughing, I spun around in my chair a few times before turning my attention back to the screen.

"Frick yeah!" I shouted, noticing the fact that everyone was wake by now.

Grinning broadly, I picked up an Oreo and bit into it. Mmmm... double chocolate... I thought, concentrating on the biscuit in my mouth. As I chewed the Oreo, I continued to stare at the screen.

"Adam!" I shouted, still fixated on the screen.

I couldn't help but hear Adam groan from the other room, instantly making me laugh again. Seconds later, he was in the room, his hands on his hips. He looked at me before sighing and flicking his fringe to the side.

"Hey, I never knew you were gay." I said, biting into an Oreo.

As I spoke, his mouth dropped open. He was clearly offended. Pfft, it wasn't my fault he way gay. He narrowed his eyes at me, gritting his teeth.

"I'm not gay!" He growled.

"Whatever," I muttered, turning back around the screen. "As long as you don't perv on me."

A smile grew on my face as I watched one of the contestants try and grab a crab This was going to be great. Now to have some fun... I thought, my smile broadening.

I leaned down and started to make crab noises. How I knew what a crab sounded like, I didn't know. That was just part of my talent.

After a short while, the crab could be seen scuttling back, and soon it was in my hand. I stood up, a feeling of accomplishment swelling in me.

"Sweet," that guy said. "You caught dinner." He grinned. The crab tensed in my palm.

"You are under no circumstances eating my new pet," I said firmly. The crab relaxed. I could tell he liked the idea of being my pet.

"Pet?" the boy asked, somewhat angrily. "We don't need a pet, we need food!"

I ignored him and turned back toward the plane. Walking over there I said to the crab, "I think I'll call you Hermy. Would you like that Hermy?" He did. Crabs were surprisingly intelligent.

I got to the wreck and set Hermy in the sand. "Stay," I told him. "Unless he," I shot a disgusted look at whoever that boy was. "tries to eat you again." Then I entered the plane and had a look around.

After rummaging through a couple people's deserted carry-on bag, I found what I was looking for; a tennis shoe. I brought it out and set it on the ground by Hermy, who immediately crawled inside it.

"What do you think of your new home?" I asked it. He peaked out from the shoe. He seemed happy.

I looked up. Standing several yards away, the boy did not look nearly as happy. More like angry.

I had no idea what was going on in fact I was a little scared. I turned towards the girl that was going to introduce herself to me and realized with a jolt she had been speaking to me the entire time. I turned bright red and read on her lips "Are you deaf?" "Yeah I am partially though.I can still listen to music and stuff but I have a hard time hearing people speaking to me unless they are in front of me." I said calmly. She looked at me in surprise and I nodded."Yup."

“Hey, so my name is Elizabeth. You can call me Lizzy. I wonder where we are. What’s your name?” I asked. Lately I had been working on not doing all the talking. I was usually by myself and that made it easy to be quiet. But, if I was with anyone sometimes people couldn’t get a word in edge wise. I waited for a moment wondering if she was going to reply.

“Are you O.K.? Is something wrong?” I questioned as the girl turned around. Bright red.

“Are you death?”

"Yeah I am partially though. I can still listen to music and stuff but I have a hard time hearing people speaking to me unless they are in front of me." (Then after a pause)

“Yup” I was a little surprised, but I tried to be cool with it because she was.

“Oh O.k.” I said “I’ll start over then. My name is Elizabeth. Elizabeth Barton. You can call me Lizzy though. Whats yours?”

“Sara, I wonder” She didn’t finish though because I turned. There was a whining sound coming from the plane. It sounded like a dog. That’s when I thought of Annie Muffin. The first thing I had done when the plane started to jolt was unlock her cage. But, as the bumps got rougher I had gone back to my seat. A million thoughts filled my head I pictured her terrified as the plane crashed on the water. I couldn’t think anymore I made myself stop. But, if I couldn’t save her I could save something else. I turned back to Sara,

“There’s something trapped in there! Come on.” I started to run not looking back to see if she fallowed. A braced myself as I climbed into the plane the same way Vicki had. But, I didn’t see any dead bodies or anything just junk piled everywhere. The whining became louder then stopped as I made my way towards the back. I sent up a silent prayer that it was Annie. I opened the door. The water was waist high. Boxes and luggage were everywhere. Everything was soaked.

“Is anything here?” Sara asked coming up behind me. I didn’t reply. Instead I began to wade through the water. Something caught my eye. It was a dog toy a small green turtle with all the plastic chewed off. It was Annie’s favourite toy. I went to pick it up. Something moved. I grabbed the turtle than felt down with my hands. Fur. I grabbed and pulled stumbling backwards with the weight.
