Statistics on the front page (do you use it?)

Just a quick question: how often do you look at the statistics block on the front page? Often? Not very often?

Often enough.

I glance right over them going from featured works to Chat. Maybe once every month.

What statistics?

EDIT: Right, those statistics. Yeah. Not very often. Kind of never, actually.

Yes... I am kind of addicted... I want to get a hundred critiques for each category. >.>

Heh, thanks all.

I'm guessing the lack of anyone besides JMs and mods commenting combined with most of the responses above means that the statistics block can be axed. It'll still exist; just not on the front page.

In any case, I brought this up because I'm looking at reordering the front page to make room for the official poll again. I miss those!

I use it sometimes, but I always just click the link under the 'YWS' tab. I hardly ever notice the one next to Leaderboards on the front page. :/

I rarely use it and would love to see the official polls there again. I loved those!

YESYESYES

(Oh, and yeah... I look at the stats sometimes, but not very often.)

I don't recall official polls. Before my time, maybe?

But... I like the sound of that. I don't really look at the statistics and an official poll sounds like fun.

At first I was thinking 'what statistics? ...' But, uh, yes, I know them. Don't look at them, though, as you might have guessed. Official Poll sounds awesome.

I like reading the statistics. (I must be weird. Oo)
And, when you had the map on, it was really cool. Maybe you removed it for safety reasons, but great piece of tech, that was.

I look at the leaderboard often, but not the statistics.

As for the polls, I remember them! The polls were there when I first joined YWS. Then they were gone... o.O

I think I honestly didn't know those statistics were there. Well, I did, but I had to look to figure out what you were talking about.

Yeah, they can be left off of the front page. And definitely bring back polls!

Never knew they were there....
