Erm... I just wanted to ask, is there anyone else on Talen's side?

I was thinking, maybe it's a bit futile to fight against Taeryn [t'would be slightly farfetched to imagine that several wounded teens could defeat what is essentially the entire royal army], soo...
The way to beat her would be more... like convincing her that they are innocent - Taeryn is quite easily influenced, so winning her over would mostly be a case of putting doubt in her mind.
...I'm not saying a major, sudden personality flip though. She'd still be as aggressive and you'd have to win her trust before you just spout out the sob stories.
Please don't let me come back to see this- Selene/Tarrion: We're innocent! Taeryn: Oops, my mistake. Off you trot.
It should be fairly subtle, so she almost thinks it's her idea, and would take a few posts...
So, that's my fantabulous plot idea. Though, if you disagree and feel it would be better to place your characters in a situation where they will defeat the bad guys against all belief, it's up to you.

That sounds like a good plot...only one thing. We'd have to convince the guards, too. One or two of them probably remember beating the snot out of Tarrion xD Selene too. You would think they'd recognize them? Which means that we'd have to add another post or two about Taeryn convincing the guards.
Oh, yeah. I was thinking it would happen on the way so that they would just do as she asked, but now they're in the castle so it'll be harder.
