This is a collage I made for my art appreciation class my freshman year in college. I used photo-manipulation to negate the colors. I also have the original here. I'd like to do something else in this same style, perhaps without notebook paper and a more organized distribution of newspaper for the background. Lemme know what you guys think.

Hey there!

Well I definitely like the inverted color image better, the original looks a little too scattered in my opinion. The negative makes it seem less everywhere, but still retains it's newspaper look. I love the notebook paper in the middle, although on the original, not so much. It's still cool, but not as much.

Anyway awesome job!

Hi!

I just had a few quick comments. First of all, I agree with Hope that the negative makes it look a lot cooler. Everything is a lot brighter, more organized, and cooler. My main problem is that while it is different, it's not different enough. Maybe you can do something else, like blur or sharpen it a bit more.

Overall, I liked it. Sorry this was a short critique, but I couldn't really find anything specific to talk to you about. This was really good.

Hey Black.

Personally I liked the original image better. This may sound strange, but when looking at the dark one some of the more negetive words stood out, and when looking at the lighter one the more possitive words stood out. Perhaps that could be used as a technique, but for that reason I do prefer the second.

I also like the notebook paper in the middle. In this instance it does seem a little odd and out of place (and the rhyme needs work,) but I do like the idea.

Hope this helps.
