Selene
I sighed and pulled out a dagger I had grabbed off of one of the guards. "This is going to get ugly soon." I stated my voice almost inaudible. Rajun came creeping down the hallway the other direction and stopped beside me. "What's happening?" He asked as quietly as humanly possible. "We are escaping and we need to rescue Aris." I said calmly my voice still just as quiet. "Well let's go in." Tig said pissed but quiet. I gave him a look and he shut his mouth.
*I brought in Rajun because you know 2 birds with 1 stone*

Aris

I heard another voice, oh, no, Rajun?! Could this get any worse?! Taeryn seemed to see my expression and looked down slightly curiously at me.

Not only was Rajun and the rest going to die now, Kale wouldn't even be free and Rajun wouldn't be brought to his throne. This was all going wrong... Taeryn kept up a light banter of chat that had sadistic meanings hidden underneath- either that or I was imagining things.

~Taeryn~

Even as I babbled on to Aris, I was concerned. I was alone, and would be up against at least three people, not including Aris. Yes, one of them was admittedly pregnant but I knew full well that both Garrion and Rajun were strong warriors, too strong for me to hold off on my own. I needed some guards.

Unfortuanately the majority were passed out in the prison cells, drunk out of their skulls, but surely there were some that were still capable of holding a sword. I'd have to somehow get reinforcements whilst at the same time keeping tabs on the location of the escapees... I sighed in frustration, then started towards the warriors' quarters, in the opposite direction to the muffled voices of Selene and Garrion. There was no point in starting a battle that I would never be able to win.

[Erm, I've had a change of heart since I love Garrion too much
I've been thinking maybe Tae could sentence him to execution, THEN kill Rajun, have a breakdown etc, then free Garrion (and the others of course but that was a given)!! :smt003 That way he gets to mope for a while hehe.

Can't post until sunday so please don't go too far without me :) ]

Aris

We were leaving! Thank goodness, I wouldn't have to watch them get hurt for me. We were leaving... relief spread through me.

Your with the group trying to find horses. Sel and Garrion are going to split off from the group soon though. I edited my post to try and bring in Tig.

Here's What Happened:

Everyone escaped except Aris who made a deal with Taeryn. (Its not important anymore, the deal is void I think....) anyway, you're with Selene, Garrion (a guard on our side), and Rajun. You were going to rescue me but Taeryn left so you're rethinking.

On with SBIng!

**Woop!! Tig is coming back!! Basically what the others said**

GARRION

My brow furrowed in confusion. They were leaving? I glanced over at Selene. "They're leaving," I whispered.

"I noticed," she muttered. She kept her daggar out, obviously she wasn't convinced.

It dawned on me that Taeryn was smarter than to fight without backup, especially if the numbers were uneaven. "She's goin' back for reinforcments," I murmered. Okay, so maybe this wasn't such a good thing after all. If she went back for reinforcements, we didn't stand a chance.

"We need to get Aris out of there."

I nodded. The only question was how we were supposed to get Aris. I bit my lip hard enough to draw blood, trying to focus.

TARRION

I bit my lip and watched the door nervously, clutching the bottle of pain killers in my hand. The pain was getting worse, but I didn't want to waste these things. Too precious to throw away. Sweat beaded my forehead and I was breathing heavily. I wished more than ever that Selene was here. "Please let her be alright," I murmered.

I flinched when I heard footsteps outside the door, praying nobody would answer. There was a knock then a sweet female voice. "Gar? You in there?" Was it a servant?

I held my breath and said nothing. At least it wasn't Taeryn's voice. But what would happen if she walked in here and saw me? I didn't dare move a muscle.

She sighed and the footsteps retreated. I waited a full ten minutes before shifting into a more comfortable position. I eyed Garrion's bed. It had to be more comfortable than the floor...but I couldn't bring myself to move. It hurt too much.

Tigger:

I sighed and rolled my eyes, I am so sick of everyone telling me to shut up.
"So we need horses," I asked in a quiet whisper. Selene nodded. "Okay, I got that. It won't take long, wait for me here." I ran off to the barns. A few sugar cubes and carrots and horses would do anything you wanted.
The rest were still in the spot I left them, so I quickly ran up to them, all the horses we needed in tow.
"So," I drawled," what now?"

I grinned at Tig glad to see he was in motion. I hugged him randomly and he gave me a wierd look. "Well we need to get Aris out and then we need to get Tar and then get the hell out of here." I said quietly.

I kind of want to get Aris knocked out. Anyone able to help with that? :P

Aris

I could maybe survive this... I could stay here and live happily if I just knew that the others were safe... right?

>Wait, wait, wait. Hold up- There's no mention of Taeryn fighting AT ALL. We want her to kill Rajun, right? She's going to be fighting right now.... you should add in something about that.

And also, I don't really like how you're knocking her out... I mean, if Taeryn is fighting back you don't want to be dragging my limp body around.<

> Yes, she did... Not sure what happened here whilst I was gone, so I figure I can just ignore all the OOC notes :smt003
I love how Garrion and co. are now standing in the middle of the corridor accompanied by horses. Subtle. <

~Taeryn~

It didn't take long for me to round up a bunch of (sober) guards; their feeble complaints were met with death stares and soon enough five of them were equipped and ready to assist me, with various other smallish groups sent on scouting missions around the castle. The escapees would be caught in no time, or at least that's what I hoped.

I'd warned each and every soldier of the consequences of more deaths - the prisoners and Garrion were to be captured and detrained only; any other action would be considered disobeyal and appropriate punishment would be taken against any soldier who harmed an escapee. This had seemed to give Aris more hope - whilst she had stared with fear at the fifty or so guards ordered to search the castle, she'd relaxed (slightly) when she realised her friends wouldn't be hurt.

"Come on," I ordered shortly, gesturing to my small troup so we could re-search the area that the prisoners had been before I left. Even as I walked, I silently prayed that my assumption was wrong, that Garrion wasn't a traitor.

Please check the DT :)
