This is a random sketch I did a few days ago. I'm aware that the hair, lips and neck's kind of dodgy. The eyelid looks a lot darker and far less realistic on this picture than it does on the paper as well, which is kind of odd... Thanks in advance for any reviews.

Okay, so, I think you've got a really good start with this. There are a few things that I like, like the shading and the general shape of the guy.
I don't really like the hair or the eyes, though. The eyelashes and the eyelids look plastic and fake, and the huge gap between them doesn't help either. To make it look for realistic, you can draw a curve from the eyelashes and we should be able to get it.
I also thought that the hair looked a little too spiky and plastic-y. Our hair isn't always going to go in perfect, thick stands. Maybe you can add a few loose ones around it?
Overall, I think it's a good start. My advice? Look at a picture of someone when you're drawing it. That way you get to see things for how they actually are, not just the way that you remember them as.

Hey Skins! This looks great! I'm obsessed with texturing in hair, and this looks really cool. I'm also a big fan of the way you drew his nose and the curve of his jaw. Noses are really difficult to draw, but you did a great job. Thanks for posting!

This is good- the hair and shading is well done. I always fail at drawing profiles, so kudos to that XD I would say that you could improve on the lips- try to make them less flat and at an angle. Just practice on it some. It's a nice drawing though. Good job
I would like to say that your drawing's so awesome. I like the side-view look of the boy. I also like the shading part especially on the hair. One thing, I'll like to clarify is the closed eye, well, somewhere that part looks like a "triangular shaped" that appears to be above of the eyelids or on the eyelashes. It would be better if you just shade it actually.
Anyways, I really like this drawing! You're really good!
Keep on drawing!
Peace out!

So, this is overall a very well drawn piece but there are two things that bother me about it.
The first is the fact that he seems to have a lot of hair on his head. Like, a lot of the picture seems to be hair. The second is with the eyelids which just seem to be weird little half circles. Like you just kind of made it up as you went. It really stuck out to me for some reason.
Still, the detail in the ear, for me, seemed really impressive and even if there seemed to be a lot of hair, the hair was well shaded and textured. That, and the shirt seems very realistic, even if it isn't a major part of the picture. Sometimes, the littlest details are the most impressive.
Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.
Great job.. the strokes of your pencil are very well done, especially in the hair. I would consider working on the eye and shading a bit more though.. you have a great layout for the face, but it doesn't have that much depth as-is right now, because there's no source of light in this piece. Also, his top lip is quite flat, which isn't very realistic. You did a very nice job on the hair and the ear, as well as the profile outline itself. The jawline is nice, though a bit round.
Overall, nice job. I do think that some shading would really improve this, but otherwise, really nice job.
Hey Skins! I just wanted to say I really like this! Your an awesome drawer and I could never draw like that, not even close. It's very detailed and I like it very much. Keep drawing! : D
