Woah, these are absolutely gorgeous!! You definitely chose the perfect setting to take some gorgeous pics!

1# I absolutely love this one. The girl looks great sitting where she is, it's almost like she's sitting on the water. :D I also love the little shack in the distance, it brings an element of nostalgia to the photo. It looks great. :)

2# This is still gorgeous, but it doesn't really seem to be telling me anything, it's nice, but there is no real focus. I'm not sure whether the sun, or the shack are supposed to be the main element. However it's still a great photo.

3# This one is amazing! It almost gives a religious effect to the photo because of the way the sun shines through the clouds in inspiring beams. It's lovely, good job on this one. :D

4# This one looks like something out of a fairy tale. the clouds are perfectly shaped, and look stunning with the sun shining through. I also particularly love the faint outline of hills in the background. Gorgeous.

I absolutely love all of these, and I love the sepia effect of the colours.

Congrats on these, and keep posting. I'd love to see more of your work. :)

PM me with any questions or comments.

After a few hours on the beach I stayed on this cottage just of the shallow shore, the sea level rose at 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM then it gradually dropped after that.

Hello there and Welcome to YWS!

See? Congratulations for posting your photos here. The pictures you have taken are very nice and quite picturesque. It's good how you choose the sun setting which add up an effect (sepia-style)on the natural color of the sky. Also with the second group of photo. :D

Keep up the good work.

Peace out!

If you have any questions, pls. don't hesitate to PM me.

Hi there VitaminCakes. Your name is so cool and unique, I must say. All the pictures were so gorgeous. Where is this beach?

Out of all the pictures you have posted, i liked the first one the most. The silhouette of your cousin and her flowing hair in the breeze are adding to the orange effect of the background. You should send this one for some kind of contest.
Then I liked the third and fourth one. Its seeming as if the orange streaks are the electric currents. Even the new added ones are nice.
Good Work!

Hey VitaminCakes! The colors in all of these are really nice, but I'd recommend playing with the composition of your photos a bit more to see if you can capture a more interesting shot. I really like the first one, especially the way the subject is offset in the frame. You should edit a few and see what you come up with! Thanks for sharing. :D

Here's more, after spending some time on the off-shore cottage, I finally went back to the main island I live in. It was quite a tiring day as I could still feel the flow of waves and the roar of the sea while I was in bed. And so I took this shots while on my way back home. :)
Image
I captured that line on purpose so the birds could cling to it, but unfortunately the dispersed as I took the shot.

Wow!! I liked the first ones most, they were really, really pretty! The one with the girl was one of my favorites, but I also like the ones of just the sunset.
The one of the flowers was super beautiful, too.
I also really liked the last one you posted, but the power line sort of ruins it. If you could crop the wire out, it would probably end up as my favorite! Well done!
Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurl.

Hello there!

Oooohhh... You're one talented guy.Loved those photographs, I'm referring to the recent pictures you've posted. Really liked how you took those clouds and the sun. :D
Anyway, the only thing that bothers me are those wire on those two pictures... :D
Keep up the good work and post another photos in another topic. :D

Peace out!

Hey Vit! These are amazing! I definately like the flowers and the beach huts the best, the contrast is amazing, and you really have an eye!

Sunset beach
1: It does look great, I love how her hair is being thrown up by the wind! But I think you could have angled it better - maybe so more water was shown between your cousin and the hut? But otherwise, brilliant!
2: Wonderful! Absolutely beaut! But I think that you could have shot it with more water below. I love the glitter in the water, and the outbreak of the sun.
3: Nice!
4: Lovely! My favourite of the Sunset Beach ones

Blue Waters, let's call them -
Both of them stunning! You really have an eye. My only nitpick is that in the top left-hand corner of the first one, there's a little line there. This can easily be fixed by just cloning over it with the nearby blue.

Next: All of these are beautiful! With some of them, they could have used a little more light on the houses, but it can't be helped so well done!

I'm liking!

Hey VitaminCakes!

You asked me for a comment like... three or four times now, so I figured I would. :P Anyway, while I'm not a photographer or anything, these were some truly lovely pictures. The skies, in particular, were absolutely stunning. And the little huts on the water seem surreal to an American like me. Very beautiful!

I'm not sure I'll be helpful because I'm not a photographer, but I have to say these are gorgeous. They truly make you stop and think, and they make you realize that the world around you is so much more beautiful than you acknowledge.

I like them. *two thumbs up* They make me want to work on my description. :D

Those ones with the water-cottages, those are quite nice, but I just have one problem with the second one. The horizon is slightly tilted. If you have a simple photo editor, it'll take nothing bu a few minutes to correct that, but you'll never be able to do it with something really simple, like Microsoft paint (which can only do 45 and 90 degree flips). If you have the ACDSee photo editor, you'll find a very good tool for correcting a bad rotation.
Hope I helped!

Oh, and the one with the line (the one with the camera-shy birds) I really like it because the cloud and the wire have contrasting angles. They intersect right about the middle of the picture, but the cloud is so thick and the angle so subtle that you can't really pin down the exact point of intersection. I like that.
