A picture I drew of my MC. Drawn about two years ago. I was trying out new styles, so... hope you like. Note that I've changed the spelling of her name and there is another i after the a. Samantha June Stizagailii.

P.S. My scanner isn't working yet, so no new art for a while. But things I haven't yet posted are coming up.

That it amazing! I wish I could draw like that. I love the detail on the neck and eyes. The nose does creep me out a little bit. But overall its wonderful
Hey Durriedog, The shading is very good, especially around the bottom of the face, leading into the neck. I like the eye as it's not shaded inside as I've sen many people do, it looks clean without any smudges. I agrre with Waterlilygirl, the nose does look a bit wierd, but I'm sure that if the other half were there it would look alright. I don't really have anything else to sya, it really is very, very good. ~Tamara x
Someone told me there's a girl out there, with love in her eyes and flowers, in her hair.
I love the eye. I agree with the other people. The nose is a bit funky. I like how it fades out and the half face. Good work Durrie. I'm sorry that your printer broke. I'll look forward to when it gets fixed and you post more stuff.

Great work, Durriedog! Have you been taking a college art class or something?
I like the shading of her skin, implying the pale tone but also revealing a well-done shadow by her chin. About the chin, I really love the exact point of its curve.
Some things I don't like:
I think the wide shape of her eye takes up too much of her face, making the whole thing seem somewhat unreal. I also don't like the curve of where the half-face ends, and I think that angled line is what is making some people say the nose looks weird. But, making it a half-face in the first place was a great idea!
My very favorite part of this is the eye!! It's really, really, really good! You've got excellent shading techniques too! Did you really do this when you were only 11? You've got skill, skill, skill!!!! I've been trying to draw people for ages now and I've got a few good ones, but nothing like this! It would be awesome to see a finished piece!
You actually have a talented artistic skills! Loved the drawing and the shading part. Good eyes and mouth. The nose is kind of... well, it looks flat and there's something wrong with its neck, the curve thing-y.
Overall, I liked it!
Keep up the good work!
Peace out!

Ooh, this is quite lovely. You've got talent, dear, I can definitely see that. However, the drawing seems very flat and incomplete. The shading is nice, but it sort of feels one-dimensional. Add hair, maybe an other side to her face and a background so that she can feel a bit more real to us. If you were that good when you were eleven, I'm willing to bed you're three times as good now.
Otherwise, I do really like the drawing and I hope you keep at it. PM me if you have questions!
