I'm gunna start out with the classic and very cool opening line of hey.

First off, I love writing. Its my life. I haven't entered any contests or anything because I think I'm afraid of failing. My own problem but its keeping me from moving forward. Anyway, I joined this website in hope of maybe eliminating it? I dunno, but yeah, hey ya'll. Hope you like my work, I'll be reading yours. :wink:

The best way to get around that fear is indeed to just start posting your work; you'll find that other people really do enjoy reading it.

Hello and Welcome!

Just post your work, I never enter contests either! Everyone will read it and encourage you, and soon you'll realise that it's good and you'll gain confidence. Trust me, I know, I used to be afraid of anyone reading my work in case they thought it was rubbish. But it steadily improves your work and soon you won't be able to be without it.
