Blue:

I sat inbetween Emily and Roisin and Do sat next to Roisin letting her hear what they were saying. I slid down in my seat. I hated to be in big crowds like this. It made me feel claustrophobic. I knew the look on my face was weird but I couldn't help it. It's always been uncomfortable for me. I blame it on never having a big family or a lot of friends.

Twirled strands of hair around my finger. Al they really did was welcome us, introduce the teachers, say that we started classes on monday (day after tomorrow just so you know), and that we should get settled. Then they went into the boring details like rules and everything like no boys in the girls dorm and no girls in the boys dorm. Never use magic against another student unless it's part of a class assignment, blah blah blah blah blah. "Now let's eat!" The person said "Everyone into the dining hall, the room to the left of here."

Everyone rose and slowly got out the doors. I crossed my arms trying to make myself as small as possible so people didn't touch me. They ended up touching me anyway though.

Austin*(I update his profile regularly)*-
Headmaster Richfeild welcomed us, then told us that classes began on monday, and the rules. One thing I noted was that while using magic on your fellow students in most scenarios is prohibited, dueling is allowed, although strictly regulated. The last thing was to have us all go down to the floor, then he pricked our thumbs and had us put our bloody thumbprint on the school roster. Then we went to lunch.

Rhodri

"Lunch time bwois!" I laughed, sitting down next to Alex.

The girls giggled while the boys simply stared at me weirdly. I seriously needed to start cooling down a bit. Ah well, sue me; I was hungry.

"These chips are horrible." Dawne said, dropping her fork.

Pretty much everyone nodded in agreement, except for Donal who was literally devouring his food. Roisin was giggling beside him.

All of us sat silently for a while, picking at our food. I had to admit; the food was rather bad. Like pretty much everything else in this school actually.

"Now that's hot!" Alex grinned as a pretty girl with huge breasts passed.

Every boy nodded in agreement. Well, every boy except for Austin.

"That's a matter of opinion, I guess." He laughed.

"How can you not like that?!" Alex sounded astounded.

I couldn't help but laugh at Alex's completely surprised reaction. He was looking at Austin as if he'd just said something incredibly offensive.

"I'm not interested in girls," Austin shrugged.

Alex simply stared at him, clearly not impressed.

Austin-
"You would think that people with nearly unlimited magical power would be able to make a decent stew. Obviously their magical studies have caused them to neglect other areas of expertise." I said, disconcerted by Alex's reaction to my sexuality.

**I think we need some action, you don't mind if I add some in. Oh and also, I don't really like the whole wand thing. I mean others can do it, but can my character control magic from her fingers?

Dawne Layton
I stared at the chips on my plate. I was so hungry but they tasted so bad! Gulping, I put my hand over my nose and bit into a chip. That didn't work, it never worked. I gagged at the foul taste.

"You'd think they would get some good food around here." I grinned at the group of people sitting at the table. Note to self; never start a conversation about food.

"So..." I heard Rhodri begin as he pushed his food around his plate. "So..." Alex mimicked. Something I would always do to my mother, I sighed. I kind of missed that. Austin looked up at us from his empty ceramic plate. I couldn't help but grin. "I don't know what you guys are complaining about..." Austin began before stopping. His mouth fell open and remanents of food he still hadn't swallowed fell with it.

I followed his gaze, and gasped. "Let me go you creten!" A girl screamed. Her hands were wrapped around her neck, her cheeks going blue. A brawn looking guy with a large scar down his left cheek sneered loudly.

Flexing his fingers, the girl began to move mechanically. As if she were a puppet. "Let me go! Help someone please!" She began to plead as her body began to move in very painful, sharp movements.

Everyone seemed to be to mystified to speak or even react. I had never seen magic like this, someone controlling another as a puppet. Standing up I felt my jaw tighten. I couldn't sit around and do nothing.

Raising my hand I pointed it at the guy, Ales Tyfor Kyril I thought. I heard a screech piecre through teh courtyard outside. A large falcon broke through the window heading for the scarred guy, sending shards of glass in all direction. It's claws were raised, and its beady eyes had morphed into the same ember brown as my own.

"Tiliyak!" I screamed, the bird dug its claws in the guys arms tearing at his flesh. I gasped, no no that's not what I want, I just want you break his concentration. "Swoop bird, swoop!" I shouted. The girl fell lifelessly to the floor panting loudly.

Blaizen The bird stopped, suspended in the air. The boy stumbled back screaming. His bloodied arms began to turn blue and yellow with puss. The falcon collapsed towards the ground, its life drained. My hands began to shake, No. It happened again, I killed something again! Why can't I do anything right!

**Okay just to mention. When ever Dawne does magic, something will die. Or someone will get very badly hurt.

*Is magic oral or can you just do it in your head?
*We forgot about ForestQueen!

Alex:

It had become kind of boring in the lunch room when I suddenly heard someone screaming. Everyone turned at the table and to our dismay we saw a girl being controlled by something. That's when I noticed the evil looking boy behind her was casting some sort of magic. Most of us just sat there not knowing what to do, but then Dawne stood up. It didn't look like she was saying or doing anything, but maybe I just couldn't hear her.

All of a sudden a hawk came flying in through one of the windows and swooped down at the boy. After a few seconds his concentration was broken, and he fell back. The falcon fell to the ground completely lifeless, so I looked back toward the boy. He had yellow and blue puss forming on his arms. God it was nasty!

None of us had spoken at all while this was happening. Emily, a girl I had met earlier, finally pulled Dawne's hand. I think Dawne was in shock because it took her a second to sit down. Had she caused that?

"I think this dinner is about over, and unless you think he is going to make more announcements then I think we should leave now. I'm kind of tired, and I kind of wanted to explore," I said trying to bring the table back to a good mood.

"I think I'm going to head to our room because I really need the sleep," Austin said.

"I'm going to take Dawne back to our room, but I hope you have fun exploring," Blue firmly says.

"Well I don't really want to go if no one else is going to come with me," I say.

Rhodri

This place was a freak show. After seeing that bird and puss coming out of arm thing, I made a decision. I was no way going to use magic. No matter who tried to make me.

"Well I don't really want to go if no one else is going to come with me," I heard Alex say.

"I'll come with you," I shrugged. "Anything to get away from this so called food."

I was about to ask Austin if he wanted to come with us, but then I thought that it would be better not to. There'd been a bit of tension between Alex and Austin since Austin came out. I didn't know why Alex had such a problem. Wait until he finds out I'm bi, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself.

Laughing at what I'd said a few seconds earlier, Alex stood up and I soon followed. As we headed towards one of the bins, we said good bye to everyone. Shortly later, we threw practically two entire plates of disgusting food into the bin.

"So," I smiled as we left the dining hall. "Where do you want to go first?"
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

I felt my face go pale when I saw the boy's arm. I'd never seen anything like that. They all began changing the topic to exploring "I'm just gonna bring Dawne back to the dorm." I placed my hand over my head. I could smell the blood and it was making me light headed. I needed to get out of here.

I quickly stood and walked off with Dawne trailing behind me. Pushing open the huge doors I took a deep breath of fresh air and did something I really didn't want to do, but someone needed to help the boy. I let out and ear piercing shriek. It rung through the echoing rooms and all the adults came running. Shaking my head I pointed to the guy on the floor and went to my room.

*Since you sent me to bed early... This happens at about one o'clock am the next day, after everyone else has gone to bed too.*
Austin-
After relieving myself, I stumbled back into the room and climbed up into bed. I turned around, letting my legs hang off. That's when I saw him.
Rhodri was floating by the ceiling, in the middle of the room, slowly drifting towards the open window. Suppressing a sudden urge to laugh, a slid back off the bed, then walked over to the window and shut it before Rhodri could escape. I latched it, then made sure the door was locked as well before going back to bed.

Roisin

Blue looked like she wasn't feeling so well, so I had her sit on the bed.

You want me to get Do? I ask her, totally sincere. She nodds.

Do, calling all Do's report to the common room! I reach out to him. I almost can see him rolling his eyes. I help Blue stand up and lead her to the common room.

So, what do you think of him? Iask Blue. She shakes her head. Fine, I wouldn't push her.

Do

Blue doesn't look like she is feeling the best, quite the oposite, actually.

"Are you okay?" I ask Blue. I help her sit down. I sign to tell my sister to leave. She glares at me, and walks out. Then she flashes me the image of my arms around Blue. Sometimes....

"Doing better, kind of." Blue admits.

"Anything I can do to help?" I ask, she shrugs. I put my arms around her again.

"Better?" I ask. She smiles, just a little.

Blue:

Do put his arms around me again "Bettter?" he asked. I felt myself smile a little bit. "So what happened?" He asked. I shook my head but told him "I can't stand the smell of blood. Ever since I was a little girl I-" I paused so I wouldn't cry "My mother was killed because somone found out she was a witch. There was so much blood when I found her that ever since then I can't stand the slightest smell or sight of it." I knew that must have been akward for Do but it actually felt good to tell someone.

"My mother was killed because somone found out she was a witch. There was so much blood when I found her that ever since then I can't stand the slightest smell or sight of it." Blue told me.

"I understand, to a degree. I can't sympathize, but I can understand. We stayed out of the way of normal people, the story was that my sister was too sick for anyone to be near us. We grew our own food, and raised our own animals on the farm. Sometimes the weather was bad...." I trailed off, editing my story, "but we made out okay." I tell her.

"What happened when the weather was bad?" she asked.

"It would be better if you didn't know." I said. The memories I had tried to push away came to the front of my mind.

"Tell me." She persisted.

"My aunt, uncle, and little brother had all been killed when a barn colapsed under a bad snow storm. Another sister of mine had died of starvation when she was only three months. There had not been enough food to go around. Mom had wanted to let Roisin starve. End of story." I say through clenched teeth. I get up and storm angrily to my room.

Roisin

Are you okay? I ask my brother, I heard him storming angrily up he stairs.

She had to ask about the storms, didn't she? I demand.

She didn't know, it wasn't her fault. You can't change what happened, Do. It was an accident. I tell him.

If I hadn't lost control the crops wouldn't have burned. Talking through my head wasn't enough. I had to try to play with fire! He is almost meantally yelling. Then he realizes he has been yelling this out loud. He gives me the mental image of his friends staring at him.

Talk to you later. he says, then I feel the conection end.

Blue:

Do got up and stormed out of the room angrily while I sat there confused. What had I done? I bit the inside of my cheek as I worried that i might have made him mad at me. I hadn't meant to do anything. I hadn't meant to pry.

Eventually I stood up and quietly found my way back to my room.
