Joseph

Maybe I should go after him...? I thought to myself. He seemed pretty upset and I had been a bit me... What was wrong with me? I mean, I didn't honestly like Luke? Did I? Before I had a chance to think things further, I got distracted by Haven.

She seemed to be cringing for some reason. It didn't take me long to realise that she was being told that she had a challenge.

"Sounds like it's challenge time." I laughed while Haven cringed once more.

Haven shot me an angry glance, making me laugh even more. I loved how angry she could get. Seconds later, she'd vanished.

I turned to Ingrid. A curved grin grew on my face.

"Looks like it's just you and me babes," I winked.

Ingrid groaned loudly, glaring at me.

Ingrid:

I sighed and shook my head. He hits on me as soon as Haven and my brother are gone? Joseph shot me a wink and I stood up.

"Nope, I'm off," I told him and headed for the door.

"Aww, come on," he said but I just shook my head and pushed a door open. "You might want an escort, Ingrid."

I spun round and stared at him. Did he just use my name? Joseph smiled at me.

"Why would I need an escort?" I asked, warily.

"Oh, Jezabel might be hanging around."

"And why do you care?" I asked. Joseph paused, frowning. Why was he being nice to me?

David:

"Woah," I exclaimed as Ingrid and Joe came bursting out of the infirmary. "I guess you are up and better. Do you guys want to play a game? Me and Brian are really bored and so we wondered if anyone wanted to play before classes start after lunch. Oh, and I thought Haven and Luke were with you."

"Hi David," Ingrid said.

"Hey hey!" Joe called from behind her. "I might be interested, but what kind of game were you thinking of playing?"

"Luke ran off, and um Haven got called" Ingrid said.

I raised my eyebrows. "Well hopefully she'll tell us what's up. She is the first person I've heard about so far. I was thinking about playing either soccer or kickball maybe? But you know with magic of course."

**Sorry, I haven't been able to post a lot because my parents took my computer. So I should be able to get on more regularly now. :) Cause I'm like a ninja and I sneak on! :D Thanks so much for keeping my character in!**

BRIAN

He didn't feel good at all. He was tired and his mouth felt too dry. Although when David was talking about playing sports...with magic, he perked up right away.

"Let's do it!" He said, grinning.

Ingrid looked a little nervous at the though but just as interested.

"What? Scared that I'll beat you? Don't worry, I'll go easy on everyone," he teased.

His strategy worked, getting Ingrid, Joe and David rolling their eyes and pumped for a game.

"A game of sports with magic?" A new voice asked.

Brian looked at a short girl with brown hair. She was smiling. "Care for another player? I'm Ivy by the way."

Jospeh

The small, attractive girl with long brown hair smiled. "Care for another player?" She said. "I'm Ivy by the way."

"Hey," I winked at her, I reached out my hand.

Ivy's cheeks slowly began to redden as she looked at me, shaking my hand.

"Of course you can play," I smiled. "I need a pretty girl on my team,"

Ivy's cheeks were still red. Ingrid, on the other hand, was muttering something under her breath behind me. I didn't need to look at her to know that she was rolling her eyes.

"Come one then," Brian laughed.

As we all headed into the school grounds, Ingrid grabbed my arm, pulling me away from the rest of the group. I grinned at her.

"Yes babes?"

"Jesus Christ!" She chuckled bitterly. "Do you flirt with, like, everything that has legs?"

"Jealousy is a terrible thing, Ingrid dear." I winked at her, heading back towards the rest of the guys.

Kara

Kara was standing a short ways from the group, watching silently. She tucked a bit of her hair behind her ear. It was best to not approach them... she'd be considered weird, odd, different...

She hated being treated different. But everyone always did. Either it was pity, or cruelty and bullying. Ivy hadn't seemed to be fazed much by her inability to talk, but she didn't know about the others...

No, it was better to be a loner.

I love the title of Jez's book. 'Tested by the Pro's'. I wonder who it was tested on?

Jezabel

I run up to where Joe stands with a bunch of his idiot friends.

"Joe, I need to talk to you. Now!" I half whisper-half yell. It comes out like a strangled hiss.

"Fine." He says. He looks at the book in my hands.

100 Ways to Kill Someone. Flawless Methiods Tested by the Pro's.

"That's nice, Jez." He says.

"I got it on sale." I remark, "How do you work this spell?" I ask, opening to a blank page. I wave my hand over it, mumble a few words, and a spell apears. Joe reads it.

"How do you know it doesn't work?" Joe asks. I give a big, wide grin.

"I tested it out. that kid missing half his face in the office, I had nothing to do with." I tell him with another huge grin.

"Did you read the note on the side?" Joe asks.

"Oh," I say, looking at something scrawled in. It had a little arrow poiting between steps three and four. It said, 'Stir in boil of frog after pre-heating the irish falcon'. I sigh. Leave it to me to miss something like that.

I nodd my thanks at Joe. Now off to kill Ingrid.

Bailey

"A lot of people know your sister," she said, leaning back against one of the bathroom stalls. "Especially after being hospitalized."

Luke was quiet. Bailey felt like maybe she had said something wrong. "That Jezabel is a real jerk," she continued. "And that Joe guy too."

"Yeah," Luke said, kind of making a noise that resembled a chuckle.

"I hope they were like that before coming to this school."

"What?" Luke asked, confused.

"Well, you know," Bailey said. "I would hate to think that they changed to be like that after coming here. I wouldn't want to become like them."

Lucian:

Bailey talked while I sat in the cubicle and felt sorry for myself. I reached up and unlocked the door, opening it a crack.

"You think so?" I asked, watching her turn towards me. "I mean, if they could...if someone could change... You think that's possible?"

Bailey sighed. "Maybe," she said. "People change though, so you can never be sure."

I fell back against the cubicle wall, thinking. The image of Joseph being kind, then cruel a second later flickered through my mind. I thought I heard her mutter 'Especially in this school' but I couldn't be sure.

"Maybe," I said vaguely. I probably sounded like a space cadet but I didn't care. I was too busy thinking about him....and then she laughed. I came back down to Earth to realise that I was blushing. Crap, I thought and pushed the door closed again. This time I didn't lock it. Would I change? Would going to this school make me as much of a jerk as Joseph, or would I die too?

I closed my eyes and tried not to think for a long time.

Ingrid:

I froze when Jezabel came up to us and then relaxed once she was gone. I sighed and followed the others, meaningless banter filled the air until we reached the court outside.

"Um, Joseph," I muttered, pulling Joseph back. "My bro likes you, you know." He gave me a blank look. "Like, really likes you."

Joseph laughed and tapped my check. "If you say so, Babe."

And then he went and joined the others. "I think I'm going to sit this one out!" I called and ran off back towards the school, feeling sick. I didn't want to wait for an answer. Joseph had made me feel sick.

I turned a corner and nearly had a heart attack when I ran into Jezabel...again.

"Crap," I muttered as she turned around. I'm so dead. She just grinned at me.

*Now she'll die...but not straight away...**

IVY

The girl called Ingrid ran off, claiming to be sick. She didn't look too good either. Ivy frowned but left her alone. Whenever she didn't feel good she didn't want to talk to anyone either.

"What's wrong with Ingrid?" she asked Joseph. "Is she alright?"

"Of course she is," he laughed, smiling in a flirtatious way. "Why wouldn't she be?"

Ivy nodded and tried to ignore the sinking feeling in her stomach that something more was wrong with her. She ignored it and took a deep breath. She was ready to finally have some fun here.

Brian walked towards them and rubbed his hands together. "C'mon guys let's get started."

Ivy nodded and tried to ignore the other guy. He seemed nice enough but she wasn't fooled by his flirting, though flattered. He was attractive as far as looks went but she was smart enough to realize that he probably flirted with every girl that came around. She wasn't interested in anyone like that. In fact, she really wasn't interested in any guys in anything further than friendship. Not really.

"So...what are we doing then?" She asked, eager to start.

Joseph

Why did Jezabel even want to know that spell? I thought to myself as I headed back to the group. Ah well, what do I care? I continued walking cheerfully.

Ten minutes later, we were at the courts. Ingrid pulled me aside. I knew that I was me and all, but seriously, how come all of the girls suddenly wanted to talk to me? Ingrid went on about Luke and how much he liked me. Who doesn't like me? I grinned to myself as she spoke.

"If you say so, babes," I winked at Ingrid after she spoke.
Laughing I ran back to the others. As I reached the group, I heard Ingrid call behind me. She was going to sit this one out apparently. Loner.

The Ivy girl began speaking to me then. Although, I couldn't really concentrate. For some reason, my mind kept wondering. Stupidly, I kept thinking of Luke.

"So... what are we doing then?" Ivy asked happily.

"How about soccer?" I suggested. "I'm good at that, and David's all right. Not as good as me though, obviously."

I winked at David, making him laugh.
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

Lucian:

A scream spilt the air and I shot upright, banging my head on the door of the cubicle.

"Who was that?" Bailey asked.

I didn't have to guess. I knew my sister's scream anywhere. I yanked opened the door and stepped out, almost putting a foot on Bailey.

"It's...m-my...my sister," I gasped and left the boy's toliets at a run. Bailey didn't follow.

**I forgot to mention, everyone outside would have heard Ingrid scream...**

*What happened to LoveLess? I was looking and I realized she made a profile, but I haven't seen her characters. Gonna include them here.

**I will add shane too I like letting everyone participate.

David:

"Ok, we're going to pick teams now. I think that Joe wants to be a captain, and to make it fair I'll be the other," I say. Two other students, a boy and a girl, had walked up and were listening as well as another girl that was watching from a distance who I recognized as Kara, a girl I had met sometime in the past few days.

"Hell yea," Joe says. "I get Brian!"

"Wait, who are you two?" I ask.

"I'm Nathan and this is my sister Tashi. We're first years here, and we heard the commotion so we came to see what was going on," Nathan, the boy, said.

"Sounds good I'm David by the way, that's Joe," I said while pointing at him, "and that is Ivy. I'll take one of you for my team."

"Well I was hoping we could play on the same team..." Nathan said.

"Thats cool David you take them, and I'll take," Joe paused as he deliberated then said, "Shane!"

"Wait what? Shane isn't here," Joe pointed behind me, so I turned and to my astonishment there was Shane. "Ugh well fine if you get Shane then I definitely get Ivy and Kara."

"Whatever we'll still rape you guys," Joe said.

"Kara!" I called, "Come over here please we need you."

Kara

Kara looked up, startled. She frowned slightly. It was David, a boy she'd met very briefly a couple of days ago. She hesitated, then reluctantly walked over and gave him a questioning look.

David grinned. "We're going to play a game of soccer. Want to play?"

Kara was understandably startled. She hadn't thought that anyone would invite her to play. She shrugged and pulled out her notepad. "I haven't played before, but I suppose I could give it a shot..."

((My apology! Well, lets see, i'll try to get this right.)) Nathan: Sweet, I loved soccer! I went over to my side of the field and shook my head as Tashi glanced wearily at her feet. She never really played this before. "Just help block the goal," I whispered to her. I took my position by the person I believed to be Ivy. Someone declared game on and I shot out for the ball, siezing it with my feet and, after showing off a bit, I headed for the goal. This school might not be so bad. ((Okay, fairly short, im just trying to get back in the motions of this.))
