Wow, this filled up fast! This will be so fun!

We can start just as soon as Silversun and curiousvampire post their profiles.

This looks super good!

Full Name: Cutter Jonson

Codename: Waif

Age: 15

Grade: 10

Skill: strategy

Weapon of Choice: Nerf Sword

Side: Hawks

Appearance: Cutter is of medium stature, and has the look of a weasel, sort of. He doesn't tan, and always has to use lots of sunscreen to protect his skin. His hair is super messy, and he never bothers to try and change that.

Picture: http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/sabph ... 135387.jpg

Mask: Plain old fencing mask.

Personality: Cutter is friendly, as well as protective. He is also sly and good at making plans.

History: Cutter was raised in a rather horrible home, but he was always upbeat and happy. His parents died 6 years ago, and he now lives with foster parents. He does very well in school, and is very popular, as well. The opportunity to be in the Summer Nerf Wars was irresistible to him.

Up for love?: Yes

Other: He is a wicked fencer.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

*Thank you all for joining! With at least four posted profiles on each team, here we go!*

Krystal – Hawks

Krystal listened distantly to the rain patter against the window, fingering the new dogtags that lay in her lap. Thick rain and fog covered up the landscape, which she knew to be beautiful. Each summer they were assigned new tags and new, temporary roommates, who would either give you some pleasant company or drag you down as far as you’d go.

Her bed was made. Wrinkled and stained, but made. On it were scattered magazines, packages of paintballs and the new, clean uniform. It was so easy to get mud on those things. The bed across from her was perfectly made with a perfectly folded uniform on it. She thought of something for the first time, then walked over to check out what size it was. Wow. We have a girl who’s got build this time, she thought, remembering back to last year when her team won only by a fluke. We might actually win.

Her pager started beeping. The bus had arrived, now waiting to be welcomed. In a frenzy she slipped on her uniform and boots, clicking her belt and making sure everything was straight. Satisfied, she grabbed her mask and ran outside for the Moderator building. Now to watch them break in the ‘hatchlings’.

**And, we’re starting! For some reason, I thought I should mention; we almost always wear our uniforms. Also, be sure to check out the Discussion Thread so we can start discussing stuff.**

Cutter-Hawks,

I sling my pack over my shoulder, and get off the bus with everyone else. The air is humid, and dark clouds hang over the landscape. It will be beautiful, I think, when it's not raining.
Being a newbie, I'm nervous. Still, this is going to be fun. Seriously. I'm going to have the time of my life. If I don't somehow die. Then it won't be fun. But I'm not going to.
Some of the veterans are coming to welcome us, so I walk forward to meet them. Might as well get to know everyone.

I stepped off the bus and took in the landscape. So this is where I'll be spending the summer... I was excited, but still not sure if it would be better than taking my dad's and my annual hunting trip around the U.S.

I saw some veterans come out to greet us. "This should be fun," I mumbled, glancing at the veterans. I tightened the grip on my bag that was hanging over my shoulder and set out to meet them.

It'd been enough of a journey for me; a boring plane ride, and this depressingly quiet bus ride. When I got on, I tried giving a high five to everybody. Nobody high fived back. Was I really the only one super excited about this? Or at least the only one who was openly enthusiastic with it? Whatever, I guess. They wanna just fight, I guess I will too.

I tried high fiving everybody as they walked out, and most of them were lazy about it, and if they weren't lazy they were only pretending to be as enthusiastic as I was. Well, there was one person who meant the same as their high five; they punched my hand. It wasn't a powerful punch, but it still hurt a bit. I quickly followed the puncher after shaking the pain off. I needed to know who this person was.

"What the heck was that for?", I asked.

Anybody who wants to have gave a bit of a punch to my hand, go right ahead. Could be an agressive one, a brooding one, or even somebody trying to be funny, I don't know, something; it isn't too bad of an entrance.

Felix -- Cobras

I hopped off the bus and slung my bag more securely over my shoulder. There was a spring in my step, as I was thrilled to finally get out of my overprotective mother's tight grip. Heck, I was surprised I hadn't missed the plane, with her hugging me so much, telling me that I could come back any time. But I was here now, and the Nerf Wars were about to begin.

Some younger guy was standing near the bus, high fiving everyone as they exited. When it came my turn, I gave him a firm punch to the hand and continued on my way. Weird kid.

"What the heck was that for?" I heard him cry as he caught up and fell into stride with me.

"For free," I smirked. "Oh, don't give me that look. I wasn't being mean about it. What's your name?"

"Joe," he answered. "You?"

"Felix," I answered, studying him a bit as I walked.

"Watch out--"

I collided with someone. Not hard, but enough to nearly knock her over. "So sorry!" I apologized to the brunette, also a bit younger than me. Putting my hand on her shoulder to steady her, I asked if she was all right.

"You should watch where you're going," she laughed.

"Yeah, I should. I'm Felix." It seemed I would meet every soul there within the first few minutes if I kept up my streak of hitting people.

"Katie," she said as she readjusted her bag.

Ijumped out of the bus, ready to do... anything really. I hated long bus rides.I had smoldered the enitre way with my long sleeves and jeans. Now that I was out of thebus, it wasn't much cooler, but there was a nice breeze. A few of the veterans turned to look at me. I guessed they had never seen an albino before. I grinned back at them cheerily, and a few smiled back. They all then turned back to whatever they had been doing. I looked around, hoping someone would notice me and come over to chat.

Junni-
I stepped off the bus and ruffled my hair a bit. Longest bus ride of my life, but it was all worth it to get to this place. I walked down the dirt path heading nowhere and kicked around a few rocks. When I looked up I saw a girl with the palest skin ever, after staring a bit, I walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder.
" Hi," she said. I ruffled my hair and smiled quickly before frowning.
" You're really pale," I said shaking my head," do you ever get any sun?" She shook her head and laughed.
" No, I'm albino." She walked forward a bit and I followed close behind.
" Oh, that explains it!" She nodded and turned back at me.
" So, what team are you on."
" Hawks." She gasped and then shook her head.
" That means we're sworn enemies!" I smiled inwardly.
" You better watch your back on the battle field, the name's Junni."

Cutter-Hawks,

I meander around the parking lot, not really talking to anybody, but I decide to stop by the two girls.

"Hi," I say cheerfully, walking up to them.

"Hey," they both respond.

"I'm Cutter," I say, smirking at the look that they give me, "And I know what you're thinking. That name was not my choice."
