To Be A Rose

Image

To be beautiful is to be a rose.
On the outside seemingly perfect,
But actually covered in thorns.
Beautifully covered in dew drops,
Hilighting the rose's best fetures.

The bold reds,
Soft pinks,
and simple whites,
beauty comes in so many colors.

To be a rose,
To allways be liked,
To have photogrophers taking my picture.
To be associated with love.
What a joy,
To be a rose.

But a rose is covered in thorns,
you know,
And beauty comes with a price.
The bar will allways be raised,
Never let down.
And there will allways be ways
to be better.

You know,
mabe it's not the best,
simply to be a rose.

I like how you compare beauty to a rose. I found a few spelling mistakes, though.
Hilighting the rose's best fetures

To allways be liked,

Highlighting, features, always. Just look through the whole poem to try to find the mistakes.
This part was unnessecary.
To have photogrophers taking my picture.

That suddenly related to yourself, which didn't help the poem's main idea move along. For the rest of the poem, you didn't mention anything about yourself anymore. I think you should take that part out. It's only a mere suggestion. Overall, I liked your poem, so keep revising!

Hey this poem got awesome near the end but the very first line is overused, my friend:

"Beauty is a Rose". Rather invert this or change it totally.

Okay, with posting pictures, I really have no experience. But maybe you could try for a better one? Maybe one that shows the rose' amazing beauty and how everyone adores it (Rose upright) and what not.

Otherwise I liked the content of this poem. At first I was like... oh gosh, here come the cons of the rose and wanted to sigh, but instead of just saying how a rose is beauty, you went deeper into the fame and how it's a lot of work just to maintain it (I think that's what you did). Now I'm not very poetic but take into consideration what I've said.

Fly On,
Hero.

Thanks guys, I fixed the first line.
Love is beautiful, but what would love be without life?

Y'know, sometimes a family is a mutant superhuman clown with cartoony powers, a hyperactive shapeshifter created in a lab, the ghost of an artificially created being who only exists for exposition, a cat who is an eldritch god for some reason, and an emo guy who doesn't canonically exist
