I don't care if everybody I meet hates them, I loved them to death, and it's always going to be funny to me that I got away with wearing a clip-on tie for the whole seven years I had to wear a uniform. So...yeah.

Oh, how I used to love
looking fancy all the time
With my uniform all buttoned up
and on my neck, a clip-on tie

I had a nice clean head of hair
all combed and natural
If you saw me walking down the street
you’d think I was late for the ball

And now there’s a gap
in my collar bone
And it makes me miss my uniform
and my clip-on tie too

Those sleeve buttons weren’t ever loose
for those years I wore it in my school
I felt cozy and snug as a bug
and not a thing but cool

I wore it all ‘till late in night
‘till the sun went down around eight
and as I slept and ate my breakfast
to put it on again, I couldn’t wait

And now there’s a gap
in my collar bone
And it makes me miss my uniform
and my clip-on tie too

But the outgrown clothes
of my old school suit
Aren’t my style anymore
and I no longer think it’s cute

But it left a comfy gap
that I still feel lucky to have
‘cause it reminds me that, back in the day,
I had fun and bragged and laughed

And it may not be
my style anymore
but I’m sure I’ll always miss it,
that I know for sure
"I'm fearless in my heart
They will always see that in my eyes
I am the passion, I am the warfare
I will never stop
Always constant,
Accurate,
Intense"

That's really funny. About this part:
I had a nice clean head of hair
all combed and natural

No need for these lines. Just focus on the ties. This makes you seem as if you want to brag about your looks more than you want to write about how much you miss the ties.
But it left a comfy gap
that I still feel lucky to have
‘cause it reminds me that, back in the day,
I had fun and bragged and laughed

What does the uniform have anything to do with having fun? You say that everyone thinks that clip-on ties are cool, so this couldn't have made you laugh when you were in school, right?
