I watch everyone's reactions and then just sit down and start reading one of the books.
The guy that I had been looking at has started looking irritated so I yell "Whats your damn problem with me?"
He looks and says a simple "Nothing so shut up"
Im in the mood to get in a fight with him but since the girls are still acting a bit frightened I decide to comfort them instead.
"You over there please don't be afraid I will make sure to protect you girls! But the guys can die for all I care!" I say to them as a voice of courage.
"So what are we going to do now?"I ask looking at the guy over there act tough

Blaire:

I glared at the new kid. What was up with him?

"Anyway," I said, turning ot Lexie, Chrissy, Jake and Ben. "What're we going to do?" I ignored the new kid for a moment and looked at Chrissy. She was freaking out a little.

I walked over to her and pulled her aside. "Hey, it's okay," I said, glancing towards the guys. The Max kid and the new guy were having a staring contest while Jake and Ben were talking to Lexie.

Chrissy threw her arms around my neck. "I don't like it here," she said.

I sighed. "To tell you the truth, Chrissy," I whispered back. "I'm started to get scared too."

I pulled away and looked towards the others again. Jake looked like he was watching me. He looked concerned.

Jake

I couldn't help but stare at Rowan as she hugged and comforted Chrissy. She had a look on her face that I had never seen before - it was soft, and vulnerable. Could it be that Rowan was scared?

Shaking the thought from my head (because, to be honest, it was extremely unnerving considering that Rowan of all people would be freaked), I glanced around the room. Two new guys had somehow appeared; one had apparently been stuck here before we came, and another appeared through a window that had instantly disappeared after him.

"This can't be right," I muttered to myself. "If there's a way for people to still get in, there's got to be a way for people to get out."

The guy who had been here first spoke, and I didn't care for his tone. He was regarding us all as if we were little kids.

"You guys can weep all you want, but there's no use sinceit's not going to change a thing. Might as well save your breath and save the rest of us from your sob stories."

"Why don't you shut your mouth and help us figure out a way out of here?" I snapped.

He raised an eyebrow at me. "Well, macho-man, whaddya suggest? Leave through the door? Oh wait - there is no door!" He cackled unpleasantly, and I rankled.

"You can come with me," I growled, grabbing his collar and dragging him after me. "The rest of you, stay here. We're going to search for a way out."

"I'm coming with you," Rowan said stubbornly, and I let her.

"Don't separate, whatever you do," I warned the others. "That's what they want, to pick us off one at a time."

I led the way out of the room and looked around. The stairs caught my eye; maybe there was a window up there. Turning to the two behind me, I said, "Well? Let's go up."

Blaire:

I followed Jake up the stairs, hoping that the others would be fine until we got back. I looked around, a little wide eyed and pulled my hooded cloak closer to me. Was it just me or did the temperature in this stupid place just drop about ten degrees?

"Um, Jake," I called and he glanced back at me. "Is it just me or is it colder?"

The guy next to me shot me a withering look. I gave him a glare that said shut up or I'll hit you. Maxxie sneered at me and looked away.

Jake rubbed his arms. "Yeah, it seems like it."

I nodded and pulled my hood up, staring at Jake's back. I wasn't going to look away because the only thing I was afraid of was myself....and being alone with myself. Weird, I know but knowing this house and after seeing all that crazy stuff.... I was willing to believe anything... Just like how I didn't trust the boy next to me. Maxxie oozed distrust.

We reached the top of the stairs and turned a corner... It was a dead end. What the hell? And there weren't even any windows... Oh, shit. We really were stuck in here, in this stupid freaking house! I bit my lip and stepped forward.

"Okay," I said grabbing Jake's hand. "I'll admit it. I am officially scared now."

Oh, did I mention that I don't like to be stuck in confined spaces? No, then I guess I'll say it now.... I hated confined spaces, such as a house without any doors, windows or any other kind of entrance or exit.

Sorry this took so long! I've been pretty distracted.

Like this, but she's wearing a white dress. No costume, she's a ghost.
Personality: Distant, quiet, shy, and a little frightened of people, particularly boys.
History: She was a prime target for bullies in school and out of it, and her parents neglected her. She went into the mansion last year and didn’t come out again.
Flaws: Very distant, and rather malicious towards most males. In her opinion they’re all unstable cruel people.
Other: Well... I suppose she’s up for love, but she’s a ghost, so... Yeah.

Lexie-
I bit my lip as Jake, Rowan, and Maxxie left. Sure, leave us all alone.
" W-what do we do now," I studdered, retreating to a small corner.
" How am I supposed to know," Chrissy whined. I looked around nervosly and slunked down in a corner.
" We're going to be stuck here for the rest of our life!"
" No we're not," Ben said, his tone was a bit doubtful though.
" Calm down, girls," Alex mumbled," everything going to be fine. Something moved in the corner of my eye and I turned around frantically.
" What was that?" Chrissy's eyes got wide and she moved towards me and held on to my waist.
" What was what, Lex?" Something else flashed across my vision and I whimpered. As soon as I was about to speak up something emerged from the bookself.
" I didn't mean to frighten you," the ghost said, but before I could fully hear here message, I was fainting.

Chrissie~

I grabbed tightly on to Lexie's shoulders pulling her up. A ghost appeared from the shadows of the room. The ghost’s eyes looked wide and innocent. I looked down at the space between the floor and the ghost’s feet.

“This cannot be happening!” Ben hissed next to me his hands shaking with fear. The ghost moved towards us, its long silver hair ebbed around it in fair locks. It looked like a girl, a ghost of a girl!

“Please don’t hurt us!” Lexie shrieked placing her hands us in front of her. I cowered back following Ben and the new boy.
“Lyanna” The ghost said. I froze her voice, it sounded so distant even though she was right in front of us.

“Lyanna” Ben repeated the ghosts words, “Hey doesn’t that name sound familiar?”
I spy!

I look at this so called ghost and try to poke them, my hand goes straight through and I start to get mad at my failed plan.
I yell "Your no ghost cause ghost are green."
The ghost says "Yes I am."
Im response I say "Nope."
She says nothing
Im response I say "answer?"
She says nothing.
Im response I say "Nope."
She says nothing again.
Im response I say "Difficult..."
She says nothing again
I say "you sure?"
She says nothing, again a plain blank silence..
I try to poke her again but like before I fail so I just stand between her and the other girls.
I then say "Okay."

Uhm... Todai? Did you even read my character's profile? I remember saying in her personality that she's distant, quiet, and shy. And, well... that's not her. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I highly doubt that Lyanna would continuously insist that she's a ghost. Or say more than one or two words at a time for that matter. If you wouldn't mind fixing that I'd be grateful.

Lexie-
I stare in disbelief as Alex pestered the ghost.
" Don't do that," I hissed at him. " It'll probably eat you." The ghost turned towards me and smiled feebly.
" I would never," she said in her wind chime voice.
" This is all too much," Chrissy complained. I sat down and pulled my knees up to my chest.
" How'd you become a ghost," I asked her. (( Short, I know, just trying to move this along.))

Lyanna looked at Lexie. "Last year... last year I came here for the... the challenge... didn't... didn't make it..."

**I'm sorry it's short! D: But if I try to make it longer I'm just going to keep forgetting.**

Jake

If I hadn't been in such a panic at finding the entire upstairs closed off, I would have been much more fascinated by the fact that Rowan - yes, Rowan - was holding my hand. As it was, I only squeezed her hand tightly, ignoring Max's obvious eye-rolling.

"Don't worry, I'm sure we can break through the walls or something," I said, trying to convey a sense of assurance in my voice and failing miserably.

Max snorted. "Dude, you don't seem to get it, do you?" He leaned forward, a nasty scowl on his face. "You try to leave this place and you're screwed. They won't let you."

"Who's 'they'?" I asked.

"The ghosties and ghoulies livin' - or not - here."

"Are any of them...friendly?" Rowan wanted to know.

Max shrugged. "How would I know? It's not like I want to hang out with any losers, dead or alive." He shot us a meaningful glance and I tightened my grip on Rowan's hand.

"Come on, let's go back," I muttered, leading her down the stairs. If Max doesn't join us, all the better, I thought angrily.

When we returned to the room, though, we stopped and stared. It was filled with a pale, whitish light and fog. We could hear voices, but couldn't see anything.

"Hey!" Rowan called. "Are you guys there?"
