Charlie
"Get a life," I smiled. "Get rid of your lazy eye, get some decent friends and stop dressing like a drag queen."
"Dad!" My sister practically yelled the house down. "Charlie's upsetting me!"
Laughing, I left Abigail's room. She was still shouting for my dad when I left the house, slamming the door behind me. My sister was such a brat; and I wasn't over exaggerating when I said that she looked like a drag queen. She really did.
Twenty minutes or so later, I was standing by my locker. I'd forgotten the combination. Again.
"8619." I heard Axley's soft voice behind me. "You really need to write that down Charlie."
"Too much effort," I shrugged, opening the locker.
"Everything's too much effort for you." She rolled her eyes, giggling quietly.
I turned around to face her. Axley looked more and more bizarre every day.
"I'm liking the whole dead zombie chick look Ashely dear..." I laughed.
"Very funny Parker. Don't go calling me Ashley! It actually makes me shiver! Anyway, aren't you late for English?" She asked.
"Yeah," I shrugged. "But Mr.Brooks is a child molester. I hardly want to be spending my days with him watching me, do I?"
Axley simply laughed at me. She turned around and headed down the corridor, still giggling slightly. I did have my theories about Mr.Brooks, I must admit. He always seemed to stare at the guys in his class. God knows what he'd be like if he taught sports...
I missed hanging around with Axley sometimes. In fact, I missed hanging around with all of the goths sometimes. Ah well, that's life. You win some, you lose some.
