Omegle Games

It's come to my attention that about a week or more ago, a small group of YWSers thought it'd be fun to go to Omegle and try to get as many people from there to sign up on YWS.

If that were almost any other Internet site, I'd say, "Great!". But anyone who has used Omegle knows that it is full of odd and unsavory characters. So the game ended up attracting a few people that I've had to subsequently ban.

So please, if you're going to try to promote YWS, then do so in the right places. Knowingly inviting people to YWS who you think are creepy and weird is not something anyone should be doing.

D:

Weird. If you're going to try and poach people, you want writers, so other writing sites would be the way to go.

Teenink would be appropriate.

Creepy and weird, yes. Villain? not so sure...

The only villainous thing you do is not spell anything right! :P

Are you kidding? Teenink is the bane of my existence! About 90% of the members are chat-speaking Twilight Zombies who don't see anything wrong wit Rihtn lyk dis Bcuz tey d0nt infrce da rulz!!

Blah. Anyways, that's just how I see it. ;) But it is ironic that the person who created the website is named Stephenie Meyer. Same name, different person, bad result. :P

Rath & Ruins would also be appropriate. There are a lot of writers on there.

So I shouldn't go to welykchatspek.cm an tell people about YWS?

How about Ritingsuckss.net?

You know how dumb the average guy is, right? Well, mathematically, by definition, half of them are even dumber than that.

I don't thrive in the advertisement area of life, and thus I've never needed to think about inviting people to a forum. :)
