Day dreaming on the Balcony

If I knew that the final line in my book of life would end with me standing on the edge of the balcony alone, inebriated and crying, I would maybe have added a line or two to the chapters where we were still friends…where we still knew one another. Now that this is all over and done with, the curtains drawn, it is more than obvious that we’ve left our seats vacant, but I cannot help but think of that which could have been.

These thoughts take me back to the times where we would climb high above the apple trees, arm in arm, and our love for one another so intense, it put most lovers to shame. We would look into the skies above us, both of us living our dream, right there and then. There was no place where we would rather be. It was perfect.

The combination of the slow wind and the soothing summer air, these were the only elements we needed for a happy life together. Holding hands, we would run down every street we could find, telling every man we saw that this was our time. That they could keep all their demands and expectations, we had one another and that was enough. We promised to carry each other’s burdens, every trouble we had we would share.

Every minute we spent together was in essence our way of renewing our vows of friendship to one another. It is all the blissful moments that make the though of you not being in my life so painful. I remember the day you left. I remember how you packed my heart and soul in that old mahogany colored suitcase and walked out of my life. Nothing has been the same since then. And now as I write the final line in the 20th chapter of my life without you, I cant help but say for one last time that you and you alone where the only reason that I kept living. I love you.

Hi there! I shall critique this provided that you do the following:

Please separate this into stanzas. It's extremely hard to read and understand as a big block of text, and in addition, myself and other reviewers won't be able to critique you on structure.

PM me once you've done that so I can critique this. :)
