This is Damon Salvatore (Ian) from VAMPIRE DIARIES.
Close up:
It probably doesn't show up as good on this computer since i had to take pictures... but please comment.

First off, I think this bears a good resemblance to the actor on that show. I don't watch it (for obvious reasons) but I've seen the commercials. At first glance, I thought, "That looks like the guy from the vampire show!". So great job in that aspect. You pulled it off nicely.
That being said, however, I think the actual person is a little...wider(?) in the face? Your drawing is very narrow, and, especially around the mouth, it looks like he hasn't eaten for days. That's a harsh way to put it, but it's what came to mind.
Obviously, this is only a drawing, and it doesn't have to be perfect, but I just thought I'd try!

P.S. This is my first review of Art/Photography...How did I do?
"You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same."
i know i noticed his face was a bit thin, but when it's wider it looks odd... i rubbed it out loads of times... i'll edit it later...
thanks!

Other than the face and neck being a little long and narrow... It's fabulous! You are definately improving! The shadowing is a little rough, but you have the basic shades down pact. The folds in the clothing don't seem to fit the shape of his body, but it's okay. You can tell it's clothes. And there's just one little line on the right corner of the mouth that just doesn't fit, for some reason... It's very distracting, as though he's trying to smile but his lips won't budge.
But other than that, great job!

First off, I love the picture. You've got magnificent shading and this picture has real depth to it. You can draw your eyes and lips very well, which is a talent I wish I had. The only thing that bothers me is that this doesn't really doesn't look like Damon Salvatore. Being unfamiliar with the character, I did an image search. I mean, it's alright, but your drawing seems much too distorted. His face feels like it's being squished in, and the hair seems a bit too short. Otherwise, it was some nice work.
PM me if you have any questions, and best of luck in your drawing.

Once again, amazing! I really struggle to draw men and tend to avoid it altogether - mine always look like women, which you've managed to avoid.
Anyhow, onto the critique.
Lots of people have suggested making his jaw wider... I don't think that's necessary - you've already said it doesn't work. i think what you should do instead is lower his jaw slightly, which should hopefully solve the problem. =]
Also, to help to counteract the 'super-long-face' effect, make his hairline a tad lower on the left, so his forehead doesn't look quite as big.
Possibly the left eyebrow needs to be more central due to the angle of the face. Not a big issue though, just my personal opinion.
You can ignore the arrow. It was just my personal 'make face lower' note, and then I couldn't get rid of it. =|
Great things
I looove his hair. It's long, without being girly, and it looks quite realistic <3 Also, the texturing on his clothing is AMAZING... *giddy smile* His eyes are really intense too, which is good. The way he's looking directly at the viewer with that intensity draws us in... It's very very very good.
Hope my comments were helpful!

I cannot say that I have read the book or (watched the show??), but at first glance it looks amazing. The drawing looks very realistic especially his face. The face is phenomenal! The only problem I have with the face is the hair seems a bit strange on the left side.

I am not going to go out into dead out reivew, because I am tired. Anyway the thing I wanted to comment on was that his head on the upper left part seems a little to big for the picture itself. I have no idea what he looks like so he may have an abnormal head, but I just wanted to say that.
Keep Drawing

My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.
i know about the head problem, but that's what it looks like in the picture! honest! Well...
well... actually... maybe not. I'll try and edit that, it's just i zoomed into his top half and so... :-\
