Alura

I should talk to Daemyn.
I sighed.
I got up really slowly so I wouldn't get sick, making my way towards Daemyn, Nick and Amber.
"Excuse me people" I said to them all as I glared at Daemyn, my kid husband.
I walked right over to him and grabbed his arm, "Follow me"
I walked to the other side of the yard, Daemyn following me.
I stopped and turned around.
"Okay Daemyn we need to talk"
He sighed.
"Lurie I'm not really in the mood to talk" he said crossing his arms.
"Oh yes you are! We are in this situation together whether you like it or not"
And then tears began falling down my face.
"Lurie?" Daemyn said walking towards me.
"Wh..what?" I said tears still streaming down my face.
"I hate it when you cry" He said while hugging me.
"Ask not what your teenager can do for you, but what you can do for your teenager."

Daemyn<

It was true, as weird as I felt about being a father, I hated it when Lurie was upset, especially if it was my fault. I hugged her close, wishing this had never happened. Wishing the circus had never broken up, even if it had made me and Lurie closer. I just wanted everything to be the same as it was before...Before we went to Washington and all those stupid people started showing up and everything fell apar-

New people showed up.

THEY were the ones who ruined everything! The new Misfits, last time, and ruined the Circus, literally torn it apart. And now there were more new people. So far, things were getting even worse. What if we were all killed? What if nothing was ever better again because new people kept on showing up?

I cursed, pulling away from Lurie a bit so I could kiss both her tearstained and blushing cheeks. "I've got to talk to Fee real quick," I said, hugging her one more time before turning away to hunt down Fee.

Amber:

I watched Alura drag Daemyn off....which left me alone with Nick. I looked towards Nick and saw him watching me. I coughed and stood up, looking around the yard. Scowling, I watched as Daemyn hugged Lurrie and then walked off, leaving Lurrie on her own.

I sighed. It was ridiculous. I wasn't even trying to do anything when I found these guys...and as soon as I join them, I'm suddenly a prisioner? Yeah, it was no fun at all.

I looked back towards Nick and saw him smirking. I narrowed my gaze at him and looked away again. Awkward, a little vioce at the back of my mind sang. I told it to shut up, firmly.

Nick,

I sigh. Yep, I'm no good with the chicks, or for emotional support, for that matter. Goodness knows why Daemyn came to ME for that kind of stuff. We don't even like each other.
Not wanting to hang out alone, or go over to Zack, who's eying me maliciously, I try to teleport over to Amber, and, of course, fail. So I walk instead. She ignores me.

"Um, hi," I say lamely. She raises her eyebrows.

"Yes?"

"Well," I say, "I just wanted to hang out with someone who isn't a) in an emotional crisis or b) thinking of ways to steal all of my possessions, including my clothes."

Amber:

I chuckled and looked away again. I didn't know whay he had to come closer when he was already only a couple of feet away.

"How do you know I don't want to steal your clothes?" I asked. I meantally told my self to shut up. I sat down on a nearby bench with a breathy sigh.

Nicked sighed and sat down beside me. "Yeah, I'm real funny," he muttered.

I rolled my eyes. "At least there's no drama like those two," I told him, glancing towards Lurrie and then Daemyn.

Nick,

"Yeah," I mutter, "I'm real funny."

Amber rolls her eyes, "At least there's no drama, like those two," she says, glancing at Lurie and Daemyn.

"I've never had the chance for drama," I say.

"Evidently," Amber chuckles.

"Is it that obvious?" I sigh, trying not to think about Kat.

"I'm afraid so," says Amber.

Amber:

"You know," I said and leaned towards Nick. "I'm really bored...and curious."

He raised an eye brow at me. "Curious?"

"Oh, it's just an idea."

He stared at me for a moment. I laughed and looked away, towards the guards. I felt Nick move closer.

"What's this idea?" he asked.

**FEE**

I was standing in the corner, eyeing the area for any breaks, ways to escape, or any clues as to why we were out here. I noticed Daemyn walking towards me, his eyes bright, but not happy.

"Fee," he says quietly, standing close to me so he can talk without being overheard by the guards. "When we...When everything happened...before. There were people!"

I look at him, trying to determine if he's still drunk or if he's already going crazy here. "Uh....huh." I say.

He rolls his eyes and tugs on his mo-hawk nervously. "No, I mean, people, new Misfits. They showed up and everything went down hill. NOW, the minute we get back together again, even more people show up, and even worse things happen!"

I cut him off at that. "Daemyn," I say, steel in my voice. "Our family was ripped apart before. We were separated, we were unable to trust one another, and then we were killed. This isn't worse. We're trapped, but we aren't dead, and we're not against ourselves."

"Yea, but what if we SHOULD be, I mea-"

I punch him in the nose, causing him to take a startled step back. "Don't you dare mess this up, Daemyn Auguste. Don't. You. Dare. We have a new family. We aren't going to turn on anyone besides these government goons and the only person who's betrayed us so far, and that person is Zeb. Do you understand me? We will stick together, no matter what. If you haven't already, fix whatever crap you have with Lurie, get to know the new kids, and reunite with the old Misfits. You don't have a choice right now. You make sure we are your one and only family, or you're not going to be sticking around. You hear me?" By now my voice has risen and some of the other Misfits are watching, as well as a few of the guards...who are quickly walking towards me. I mutter a curse beneath my breath, and pull my long hair off the back of my neck. I should really just chop it all off. I turn back to Daemyn.

"Do you understand?" I ask, looking into his black, black eyes. Before I get an answer, two pairs of rough hands grab me, push me to the ground, and shove a needle into my arm. Laying in the dirt, looking up at my Misfits, I know there's something off, something we aren't seeing.

The world goes black.

Nick,

"What's this idea?" I ask slowly, trying to avoid looking into Amber's beautiful face. She smiles at me. I grin weakly back.

Amber:

"I was thinking.." I trailed off, looking away from the guards for a moment. "Wondering actually... If the guards would break us up if we did this." And I turned towards him. He was frowning.

I grinned and leaned forwards but just before our lips met, someone broke in on our little world.

"Amber," Kendall said and I blinked, pulling away. Nick looked somewhat disappointed.

"What?" I asked without taking my eyes of Nick's face.

"The guards-and not to mention everyone else-are watching you two."

I tore my eyes away from Nick and glared at Kendall. "What? Is there no privacy anymore?"

Kendall laughed and took off. I looked around and glowered. No one but a lone guard was watching us.

"That little..." My words were cut off by Nick's mouth on mine.

**Bet you didn't see that one coming.... lol**

Nick,

We kiss for what seems an eternity, but I finally pull away.

"So what if everyone knows?" I say, laughing, "They'd find out anyway. And as for the guard," I put my arm around her shoulder and glare at said guard, "It'll just show them that we're strong together."

"I guess you're right," Amber says.

"So much for there being no drama over here," I say, grinning.

Amber punches my arm playfully, "Maybe...But I'm not like, you know, Lurie."

I laugh again, "True."

Amber:

We sat in silence for a while, the guard's eyes still on us. Maybe he was waiting for us to do more than kiss. I blew a kiss at him and laughed when Nick tightened his hold on me.

"Relax," I muttered. "I'm trying to piss him off."

Nick laughed. "I think something else would piss him off."

I sighed. "Oh, and what would that be?"

Nick just laughed and kissed me again. That was a mistake. My Fire started to stir, only a little but it still stirred. I pushed him back, muttering, "Crap."

"What?" he asked, startled.

"My Fire is reacting."

He laughed. "Oh, and is that a good thing?"

"Not when I could set myself on fire again," I told him. I glanced towards the Guard. He was on his radio. "Remember last time?"

"Oh," Nick said and looked towards the Guard. "Oh, hell no."

"I think he's jealous," I muttered and than stood up when him and three other guards walked over. My Fire was lurking, though it wasn't truly active yet.

"You," the guard that had been watching us said. "Come with me."

I took a step back. Hell no. No way was I going anywhere with him. Though I had to wonder, why was my Earth still dormant?

DAEMYN<

I watch as Fee is carried away, unconscious, my stomach queasy. I mean, she's been through worse (like my original van being blown up on her head), but I'm still worried about what they'll do to her. I start walking towards will Nick was,my eyes on my feet and the dusty ground. I look and and stop in my tracks, a grin spreading across my face.

"Well, well, well," I mutter to myself, laughing as Nick and Amber stop kissing and he puts his arm around her and they start talking, both watching the guards. They kiss again, but this time I notice the air around Amber is rippling, just a bit, like the hot air you see over a fire. About to go break them up, I stop again when a guard comes and takes her away. I walked up to Nick.

"Well, look who finally got his first kiss!" I snicker, nudging him in the side. His face turns red and opens his mouth to say something when Lurie comes over to us, holding her belly, her face pale. She looks right at me and then throws up on the ground in front of me. I yelp and leap back with Nick, who's tongue is sticking out. I look at Lurie in surprise, who sits down a little way away, getting her tutu all dusty. I try to shake off my surprise and I go sit with her, hugging her close. She starts crying. I brush the tears away and lift her chin up so she has to look at me. "Hey," I say, smiling a bit. She sniffs, wipes at her blurry eyes and mutters back "Hi."

"Now, what's up?" I ask, kissing her cheek.

"I-I just fe-feel horrible," She complains, rubbing her face into my chest. "A-and I r-really want ch-cheerios." I smile, smoothing down her short hair that's sticking up.

"Ok," I say. "Wanna go ask the guards?"

She pulls away and looks at me with confusion written all over her face. "The...the guards? Like those scary people over there who are walking towards us?"

I follow her pointed finger and see that they actually are walking towards us, at least five of them. I curse, pulling her closer.
