A Girl

Okay, you posted in my "How to Resize an Image" thread, so I'm not going to yell at you for this being too big. I'm still working on the flickr guide, by the way.

Anyway, to review! This was a nice drawing; you're certainly much better then me. Like Ben said before, I adore the eyes. The lips, however, seem a little off. They're all scrunched together and the very bottom of her mouth. She's gotta have some chin. Her hair was nice, but can I ask if this was intended to be cartoony? I looks like it, but I get the impression that you were trying to make a realistic drawing. Otherwise, good job! I liked it, and keep drawing!

I like the second one better. But...

you could fix more out of it. The lips. The eyes--try to close a little space between them... don't go too far, though. There's a bit of a problem going on between the lips and the nose. The nose gets this effect that the girl is in somewhat a position, but the lips give other effect. I don't know if you understand me, but I get myself...

But in all, I like it. Those are simple things, that you don't even have to fix... just saying.

Hmmm, I like the first version. I could see her pretty, pretty eyes better! Of course, to make it better it's always fun to wear some mascara! I love this one! You have to put up Sophie's wilted flower!

I'm going to agree with the reviewer above, it does need lashes. Somehow, I wanna see the picture. =| 'Cause I can't really comment. I'm also wondering what you were trying to do. Is this your own style? Or you're trying to be realistic? If you're trying to be realistic, well, I have a lot of nitpicks for you. If you wanna hear them, just post the pic you made as your reference photo. Ohwell, I wasn't much of a help. =) Though we'll see what I can do when you post the pic. XD
