Wow, that is very good! It looks very cool. The eyes need lashes to show off how big her eyes are. The eyebrows need pencil streaks for the right texture to make them look realistic. The nose is good, and the eyes are nice looking...I love it! Keep drawing more! ~Sky

That's a good picture, except the first thing that strikes me is the lack of proportion. Your shading is good, so is the hair, but you need a little work on the face. 1.Your basic outline of the face is okay, you need to position the facial features and resize them. The mouth: It's too low. For an average human, the mouth is always above the chin. Good work with the upper lip. (Umm.. basically that space between your nose and you lips. What's it called?) Nose: Good job drawing it, but should be a wee bit smaller and higher. Eyes: These eyes disturb me. The irises seem like some disc of a citrus fruit. You should move them higher, make them smaller. The cornea is huge in comparison with the rest of her face.
I hope I didn't sound too harsh. Good work. ~Lava

The drawing is good and it does lack proportions. The basic face outline seems fine as said before, but the lips could've been placed a little higher don't you think? The eyes are cute since they kinda look like 'anime eyes'. Just work on it a bit. Good work and keep on drawing
Wow! That's really good. You need to work on proportions though. For the nose, when you are looking straight on at a face you don't usually see nostrils. Look in the mirror sometimes when your drawing it helps me a lot.
Great job! ~Jessey

The shading is incredible. Your details are very realistic. There is a few things out of proportion about her though. But before I make my suggestions, just thought I'd tell you not to make a mess of her by trying to perfect her. Her eyes are too big, cheeks too sunken in, and her face is too short. An egg-shape rather than a circle is better for human heads.
I really hope this was helpful. You did an amazing job on this. I doubt I could do the shading and details with such realism. Keep practicing!

I don't know how realistic you are trying to make this, but its good either way. I have a couple of grips, though:
1. The eyes are too big. This is an issue that shows up in amateur's drawings all the time. When people look at a person they usually look into their eyes, right? As a result, the eyes tend to be HUGELY out of proportion, like in this drawing here.
2. The eyes should be in the middle of the face. Here, they are a little towards the top.
3. The lips and chin are teeny, especially compared to the eyes. I mean, that person might have small lips and chin, but nobody has them that small. The edges of a person's lips should aline with the middle of their eyes.
4. The face itself is too wide, but this is mostly on account of the huge eyes.
Overall, the eyes are definitely the biggest issue.
I re-drew her completely, on a whole new sheet of paper. What do you guys think of version number two?
**In the actual copy, the bit under the nose of the left doesn't look so white. (I think the contrast between all of it was actually increased, my scanner must be wierd...)**
Now she looks believable. She is looking pretty unlike the last one where sorry to say she looked like a demon !!!!!!! Keep drawing, I know how tough this is....

I adore the eyes to start off with and the shoulder that bumps up. You also have a real talent for feature defining and shading to tone levels it looks beautifully realistic. The only "issue" that strikes me is the line confidence and what I mean by this is that the face outlines are very sketchy, as are the shoulders. It'll probably easily be fixed by erasing it out completely, adding a single confident line and then feature defining like you have around the nose to show the young curves that round off the face and shoulders. That'll also increase the youngness of feel I get about your subject. Keep up the brilliant work because this is fab!
