True, but does he think to tell Ash and does he even know that she's Ash's sister?

*Rory won't know that it's her sister, I think it would be emotional if he dropped it as a casual comment and she broke down when she realises that its her sister.*

Rory,

I stayed on the bed, I didn't want lunch.

"Go without me. I feel sick."

Ashley nodded but she didn't leave. "I thought the injection had worn off now."

"Sort of," I said. "But it's not that."

"What then?"

"I saw a body, before they injected me. We are their guinea pigs and they will happily dispose of us. It was a little girl," I glanced up at Ashley and a sudden realisation hit me. "You know, she looked quite like you."

Ashley's face dropped and she went quite pale. "She...she looked like me?" She asked barely able to keep her voice steady.

"Yes," I said confused. Ashley suddenly looked quite ill and upset. "Why? What does it matter that she looked like you?" I said worrying that I had said something bad. Ashley swooned unexpectedly. I stood up and steadied her.

"What is it? What's wrong?" I asked as she slumped on the bed clearly in a state of shock.

"My...my sister..." She stuttered as she broke down in tears.

Ashley:

"Don't touch me," I warned, wiping at my eyes. Foster was such a bastard... How could he tell me I'd see my sister when she was already dead? Rory gave me a sympathetic look. "Ugh," I muttered and stood up. "Foster is going to pay for that."

"Ashley, you can't use your powers on him," Rory told me. "Remember?"

I sighed. He was right... Foster had given me something. It was blocking my powers and I wasn't sure how long it would for...

"Fine," I muttered. "Let's just go eat."

Reluctantly, Rory followed me out into the hall.

Carmen

I was breaking every rule for doing this, and foster was going to kill me, but...

I see Rory and Ashley come out of the room. Just the people I wanted to see.

"Rory, take this. ashley, you too." I hand them both a small pill.

"What is it?" Rory hisses. I made a gesture that told him to lower his voice.

"I stole it from Deme. It reverses the other drugs they gave you but..." I start.

"But what?" Ashley demanded.

"It hasn't been tested yet." I finish.

"But, theres a chance we could get our powers back?" Rory asks. I nodd.

Ashley:

I eyed Carmen warily and sighed, taking a closer look at the small pill.

"Well," I said and looked at Rory and his sister. "Here goes nothing." I popped the pill into my mouth and swallowed. I winced when all the emotions come flooding back.

"Did it work?" Rory asked. I glared at him. I could tell that he was angry and a little confused.

"Of course it did," I snapped and looked at Carmen. "Why can't I feel you, though?"

"Of course it did," She says, then stares at me. "Why can't I feel you, though?"

"Deme gave us all shots at the beggining so that your powers won't work. I don't think Deme has made the antidote, though. Or if she has, I don't have the faintest clue where it is." I said. Rory looks at me, then swallows the pill. He shivers when his powers come back.

"Thank you" he says to me.

"That's what sister's are for. I will ask Deme about the antidote."

Foster

He entered the room again, smiling as he shut the door. “Sorry for the inconvenience.”

“Cut to the chase,” she snapped.

“Okay,” he said, suddenly turning serious. “I believe you , out of all the others, have abilities you don’t know of yet, locked away. I could train you, bring them out. Your little ‘flicker’ would be easier to control, and it could become more than a flicker. You could be better. Now, will you let me show you what you can do, or not?”

The two waited there for a while, both thinking about what the future could be based on the girl’s answer.

Hero:

Foster came back in a smiled. That creep was full of bull. He told exactly what he had told me over and over again. That there was more to my power. All I knew was that I could burn things up and that was just as much as I wanted to know. However, this intrested me.

"Cut to the chase." I snapped as he kept talking.

"Well as I said..."

"I know what you just said. what's this hidden power thing and why do you even give a crap?" I was really sick of this, if I was going to get something out of this, I wanted it now.

Foster:

He gave a short sigh and looked at her. He thought for only a moment, then said, “I’ll be blunt now. You’re pyrokinetic, which means you can control fire with your mind. Not only that, but you can keep it under control. The building is still standing, isn’t it? If you let we tweak your chemistry, amplify your powers, then you could most likely end up being able to do things beyond simply your little flame.

If this is right, you would be able to turn to flames, or maybe be able to see things in fire. I don’t know. I’m not guaranteeing anything, mind you. And the process will most likely hurt. But in the end, it will either work, or not. You won’t end up too much worse off than you are now if it doesn’t work.”

He waited to let it sink in. She thought for a while, his heart starting to race in anxiety. Quite a bit depended on her. There were only a few patients who had potential. Isaiah ran a hand through his hair, and quickly brought it back onto the table.

“Why. Do. You. Care?” she said forcefully.

“Because I need you,” he said simply. When he saw that it was too simple, he elaborated. “I can get you out of here.”

Rory,

Ashley and I made our way to the lunch hall. We sat together on the same table and I noticed that the girl named Hero still hadn't come back from wherever Foster had taken her. I wondered whether she was dead. I shuddered at the thought. I noticed my sister working at one of the canteens and I went over.

"What would you like?" She asked.

"Um...what doesn't taste like s***?" I asked mockingly. She sighed and scolded me for my language but she pushed a piece of lasagna that didn't look too bad onto my tray.

"Chips or potatoes?"

"Chips," I said and she shovelled some on. Ashley came up behind me.

"I'll have whatever he's having," she said. My sister nodded and then added carrots to both our plates that I noticed she retrieved from under the counter.

"I hate carrots!" I protested. She gave me a warning look and then said kindly.

"Eat them up, they are good for you."

Ashley got the message and she steered me back to the table.

"I bet these carrots will have another drug in them meaning that we can get past the protection on Foster and all the other workers," she muttered as she started to eat.

"Awesome," I said shovelling in carrots at record speed.

Ashley:

We ate in silence. It hurt me to ignore all the emotions swirling about but I had or the workers would notice and I'd get in trouble--or worse. Foster.

I winced when someone banged their elbow on the corner of a table and started bleeding. I wanted to take the pain away, but I couldn't. I wasn't able to do that anyway.

Rory was watching me from the corner of his eye. I shot him a glare.

"Don't even think about it," I hissed. He wanted to test his powers-I could feel his excitement and anticipation at the thought of controlling someone.

I abruptly stopped eating and grabbed the table when I felt a dark presence draw near. It was Foster.

"Rory," I whispered.

I couldn't help but wonder where everyone else was, even in our current situation... Hero was gone and I didn't know where she was now-I couldn't feel her at all anymore. There were even less kids here than before and I'd seen a new girl around somewhere...

I winced and forced myself to let go of the table.

Susan (And yes, I'm switching tenses.)

My new bunkmate, Jessica-something, wasn't very welcoming. I didn't really care. She left for lunch (dinner? breakfast? I had lost track of the time.) and I hung out in the room. I wasn't very hungry. I touched the metal headboard of the bed, and my hand quickly turned the same, and it spread until my entire body was metal. I let go, and I quickly morphed back. They had called me a metamorph. So I could morph into.. what? Anything? Metals? I reached out my hand to try again, and they board twisted towards my hand. I concentrated on it, willing it to shape back. It did. So, I apparently could control this metal as well. I suddenly felt very tired. I guessed using my powers was draining. I slumped onto the bed and fell asleep.
