Neytiri

My drawing of Neytiri. :-/ the camera makes it look awful. i really wish i had a scanner.

Sorry for bad quality. it looks pretty awful with my phone camera... i don't know if you can see the white dots on the face... this is the original-
i know that the eyes are staring at you instead of away... but. :-/ and i'm sorry one picture is upside down. :S

Wow, this is really special. The eyes are very accurate, as well as the nose and well, the key features. In areas to immprove you might want to make the lips smaller. I think even if you leave them they're fine. The shading is really good, especially around the lips. I like how you did the spots aswell.

That is very good! I couldn't draw that, that's amazing! The only thing that could fix is the nose. It just looks a bit too big? Other than that, Neyteri is drawn well. I wonder what it looks like when it is colored?

Hey, this was really good! You have some real talent here, keep it up.

My only complaint would be that you made her face a bit too gaunt (thin), and it makes her features seems all cramped in. It wont be hard; just take your eraser and fill in the cheeks.

Ok thanks! i've been fixing it recently and and i did notice her cheeks seem thin... i'll make it better! it's just i tried to fit it on A4 paper and it seems it just isn't big enough. i'll post my finished piece... and i hate colouring in.

It looks good, actually.

You could probably use a little more contrast between lights and darks, though; it looks a little flat without the right shading... Like a coloring book page. But I don't know what kind of effect you were looking for; me, I prefer realism, and I know there are others who like graffiti and anime styles...

But I still like it. Nice job!

I edited that one ^ on my phone, i sharpened it and added a lighting effect...
please comment on the improved version!

and i used my phone to make the colour blue, and photoshop to edit the rest... it might be a bit too blue.. but it's the best i could get.

So I also tried making Neytiri and you have got it right and have made it better than me. I don't see any flaws as such . You need to shape her right side face shape properly.
Otherwise, good attempt.

I really like your edits, and I think they look much better then the first ones. I like how it looks so professionally done. The eyes stand out much more and it looks so glittery!

Great job! I really love the eyes. They actually look better looking at us. They look so accurate and soulful. The edits rock. They made me smile cause I love Avatar. Plus they look like a pro did them. You're a great artist! Keep up the good work!!!:)

Anyway, on the last edited one and the blue one, here I go.

They're really good. I think you could work on shading the area around the nose in such a way that you don't have to draw the outlines of the nose. (Hope you get my drift.)
Also; good work with the way you've made the eyes prominent in the blue one.
