Hi, like the title states, I'm new.
My real name is Lauren. I love the colour purple. I know how to play the recorder, Viola, Flute, and my voice, I'd like to learn the Piano and Bassoon.
I'm currently writing 2 novels, Spatium Secondus 1: Journey through Spasec, and Special. I also have 2 ideas lingering in the back of my mind.
I enjoy taking photographs, mainly of animals, and especially of birds.
I also love traveling and wish to move to Europe.

Well, hello. I'm still kinda knew here but I can tell you this is a great site. Questions. What's your favorite book? What genre do you right? First or Third person? The music thing is awesome. I want to learn how to play the piano. Anyway, welcome again.

1) I like Fantasy, Adventure, Sci-fi, just about everything. . . I've never been a big fan of Historical Fiction though.
2) I love Garth Nix's work, I'm waiting in anticipation for the last book of The Keys to the Kingdom series, and I'm on the last book of the Old Kingdom Trilogy. I also liked the Dark Ground Trilogy.
3) Yes, the Flute is an awesome instrument. :smt004
4) I'm also in the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program, I was looking through the forums and someone had brough this up.

Hi, there, Lauren! It's nice to meet you, and, welcome to YWS--literally the best writers' site on the net. Truly and honestly.
What makes it even better for you is the fact that you just joined in time for an exciting event called the Writing Olympics. You'll find some links on the home page of the site--go get your game face on!
Haha. Anyways. Sadly, I don't play any instruments...don't have that kind of focus. But I am a photographer, so that's cool! You should show me some of your pictures, really. (We have a special art and photography section/forum for people who are interested in such!)
Well, welcome. Rain or sun? I prefer rain, but it varies per person.
By the way, I'm Mizzle, but you can call me anything you want. Mostly.
Tata.

Hey there,

Welcome to YWS! I definetly didn't see that coming, wow you surprised me there! :) So what state do you live in? I'm in New York but I want to move to France.
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.

Hello!

Welcome to YWS! Yes yes yes! Join the Writing Olympics like Mizz said. :D
Anyways i play the flute too *high fives* it is great. Do you take grades? IF so which grade are you? I am working towards my grade 6 :D
Your first novel sounds interesting. Science Fiction?

Anyway, I guess I will see you around.
~Lydia

And Kanen, I don't suggest moving to England unless your happy with rain most of the year! :D (Actually thats not true, we do get sun. It's sunny now in fact. And England is great of course :))
Thinking about what you COULD achieve will get you no where. You've got to chase your dreams.

I live in Virginia, where everything you do is close together, but there is still country. I'd love to move to just about any country in Europe, I'm taking German in school so I'm probably going to visit England or Germany/Austria/Switzerland first.
Grades. . . I don't think I know what those are. . . :?:
No, my first novel is more Fantasy than anything, my second novel is Sci-fi though.
Most of what I write is in Third person, but I'm working on in idea in First.
The one thing I can stand writing is essays for school, they never give good topics (at least they don't at my schools), and I can never think of what I should put.
Yay! Another Flutist! :smt003
I prefer the rain while it's raining, but all the water it leaves can be annoying.
