At this point I have over 9000 points and I honestly have nothing to do with them. Contests would take to long, I think if I just randomly gave it away it would seem kinda weird so what do I do with them?

And I'm trying to give a gift to a good friend, but apparently there is nobody by the name of Light_Devil! when there obviously is.
How can this glitch be addressed? It's sad to see that the only gift my friend has is from Nate when she became a member.

AspiringAuthorA..M.- Go to their profile, since if they're posting there will be a link to their profile, click on "Gifts" and click "Give this user a gift." Most direct way to give them one.
If that doesn't work, then post here and report exactly what's wrong. Give as much information as possible.
Personally, I think it's the special character in her name (an exclamation point). Special characters have been causing glitches in at least one other YWS coding bit.
Jasmine- As Kamas said, hoard them! A lot of points is a mark you're reviewing and greeting a lot, so why not keep them?
